We went to Cote Hampstead yesterday for lunch. We had the fixed price lunch, excellent value. We both had the roasted tomato soup to start and the sea bass as a main. All good. The restaurant was busy but we ere were served the first course after 20 minutes which is reasonable and the same for the main. Good friendly service. A bit noisy, but a lunchtime it is expected.

There is always a lovely welcome at Cote in Hampstead from the delightful manageress, Sakina. The food is really delicious, beautifully cooked and well presented. The steak frites is faultless and my colleague had the chicken with mashed potatoes which he thoroughly enjoyed too. The chocolate mousse is to die for ! We highly recommend having lunch or dinner here.

I eat here by myself from time to time and always enjoy the food and ambience. Unusually, I was in a group of four people on this visit and it was a pleasure to see that my friends liked the brasserie as much as I do.

Food is great and the atmosphere is good. Will come back many times.

Top class - well done Anna Maria, Sunita and Team - reason why we come to Cote in Hampstead is their huge commitment to service that makes the difference. One thing for the senior management team is to avoid reducing portion sizes; these have gone down by about 15% according to most of our friends who eat here; this applies more to accompaniments such as vegetables and in particular potatoes; not a good idea. Apart from this, well done Cote

I thought the toast in the french onion soup was not fresh. I would have preferred it if the pastry of the tart au citron was crisp otherwise the food was very enjoyable.

We go for the atmosphere. The cooking is fine, reliable and good. What makes us come back is being welcomed like of friends. That’s what makes any restaurant special.

Service was fantastic, I can’t remember the name of the lovely lady that looked after us! I wish I could because she is always so friendly and attentive.

Food was cold I had duck as my main meal and found it was over cocked so it was to dry told the waitress and she offered me a free coffee after the meal as the bill was over £80.00 I think they could of done better if they wanted me to go back

Lovely food, reasonably priced, great service. Sadly another guest’s behaviour towards staff and his family spoiled the start of the visit but staff moved us discretely and were really lovely about it.

The staff is polite good service and consistently good quality food. Hopefully they can arrange for more outdoor seating similar to eg St John s wood high street and Regents park road cafes and restaurants

Food, service and ambience were fantastic! It was my husbands 50th birthday and we got 2 glasses of Prosecco on the house and a candle on top of his dessert, which was a lovely surprise :)

So wonderful to be back. Everyone looks covid protected and I had no worries. Tuna absolutely perfectly rare and Kier Royale very welcome. Can't wait to come back, No waiting perfect service
