Lovely venue and the food and wine were great.Staff were very helpful and we were a group of 20 and everyone loved the evening.Thank you Cote!x
We always feel very welcome, friendly service so we can relax over a delicious meal. Thank you.
The food and the service are always good - the only problem is the noise from the other people.

We had a really awful meal . We both had tuna nicoise , my friend asked for it well done and without several components inc olives , hers came with olives and almost raw only seared on the outside , I wanted my tuna medium rare as you usually serve it, it came under cooked and a very thin measly piece of tuna . They took it back to the kitchen and Re delivered it still cut where I had cut it before so not a fresh piece re cooked we had no time to wait so I ate it ,it was awful completely dry and tasteless. I have to say the manager and staff were fantastic, I won’t be back any time soon .
Excellent food and good value with pleasant helpful and accomodating staff
A pleasure. Lovely atmosphere and despite minor "hic ups" delightful staff. Recommend the steak tartare. My favourite of the Cote Brasserie s I have visited
We chose from the mother's day menu We did not want the kir royal (not drinking alcohol during lent). This caused some confusion as to what would offered instead . We had a lemonade and a diet coke. I expected something better? Sparkling elderflower and something? Obviously not many non alcohol drinkers were having lunch. Starters ok to good. Poultry roti good. But the spinach and mushroom crepes were not. (I wanted something non meat or fish). The amount of cheese sauce in the dish could be reduced to one third. There was so much sauce that the crepes were slimy soaked lumps . It tasted ok but was not pleasant to eat.
Had the most wonderful luncheon experience. Delicious food , Lovely attentive staff. Old School and a Delight!! My guest and I enjoyed each other without having to cook at home. No dishes to wash either.
Excellent food that we both enjoyed. Prompt service and helpful staff plus reasonable prices. Will definitely come again!! The restaurant is also conveniently situated to where I live and is only one tube station away!!
I have been to Cote in Hampstead & Camden Town. Both have been excellent. The food, staff are very professional and have that friendly thing about hanging at the table which I hate in some places. Thank you
Lovely dinner. Excellent service. I love the special loyalty offers. I’m never disappointed at Cote. It Wows me every time. Compliments to all the Hampstead stafff Zoe x
Fantastic even though overwhelmed by a full house of diners for Mother’s Day the Staff gave us a great service and a super meal thank you
I have been going regularly to Cote Hampstead for the past 5+ years and every time the service is great and the food tasty and reliable quality - nothing to fault.
Food ok, ran out of a couple of items, desert check had been in for 15 minutes before telling us no bananas. Waiter brought wrong wine, put dessert cutlery in the middle of the table, forgot the sparking water, dessert you Ran out of still on the bill. I don’t understand why you have items on your specials that are on your normal menu?? Makes it very confusing for the waiting team. We ordered the special steak frites and delivered the one off the menu which doesn’t come with salad.. The saving grace was the food. Would be good to see the chef playing up the food to be in chef whites and not his external clothes....
Service was a little slow, and we had to ask for things twice. The waitress brought us a bottle of water and forgot to bring the glasses, we had to ask her twice for them! Same thing with the ketchup. It wasn't even busy in there. Initially when we got there the hostess who took us to our table was polite, tentative and kept asking if we needed anything else. Overall food was nice, but a shame that they ran out of the herb chicken as really wanted to try that.
Always a good place to relax in without too much fuss!
We had an excellent meal, service was friendly. Cote was on form! Just wish the restaurant was a bit quieter.
Very good attentive service and enjoyable food. Given that it was busy - impressive.
Head waitress was very good , young men not so good , we were sat by the bar area and it took them nearly 15 min to make out cocktail and the head waitress still had to alter it by putting the lemon slice in the glass , having said that our meal was as usual very good thank you
Cote is always such a relaxing place because you can be sure of a lovely welcome and really delicious food. Great value for money too which really helps! I’m always confident suggesting Cote as a venue for meeting friends and I’ve never been disappointed.
Terrible service left waiting at the table had to call them to serve us. Food was ok although I asked for my lamb to be well done it was nice but the last bit was raw and had to be sent back. Then the waiter added the 10% service charge to my bill without asking even though its supposed to be optional. I normally go to the Highgate branch and I cannot fault them amazing service and food.
The food was good, except poached eggs were very overdone but it didnt seem worth complaining about as the rest was nice . However, paying our bill took 45 minutes and three members of staff. I had to leave my table twice to approach the till and sort various errors on the bill. Staff on the whole were courteous, if rather in attentive. I will give Cote another chance as Ive not had a problem before but the wait to pay really was ridiculous and tainted the meal.
We had a very bad experience on 31 March. We had booked a table for 5 people at 7.30 but had to wait 20 to be seated. We waited 45 minutes for our main meal to arrive. And 40 minutes for our empty plates to be removed from the table and to order deserts. The whole experience was frustrating and spoiled Mother’s Day for all of us.
Always a pleasure! Great place to meet, have a coffee and a bite.
The crab bisque was not edible and I had to send it back. The service was shambles until the very nice manager intervened. A Uber car was arranged at no cost to us.
Had a wonderful meal..everything was Just as you would expect... great service too.will go back...
All four of the guests very much enjoyed our meal at the COTE restaurant, and the service provided by the waitress was excellent. We are all very happy. Thankyou RP
Cote Brasserie never lets me or my guests down. The food is not only delicious but also reasonably priced, and the staff are friendly and helpful.
The whole experience was excellent. The food was delicious and the staff were fantastic.
Took a long time to take our order Service was slow which was unusual Had booked with anniversary offer of complimentary kir royale as it was my Birthday but these were added to the bill. Removed when pointed out Felt the restaurant was off its usual game. Duck slightly over cooked. Jaded experience
Food and service were excellent. All the staff were pleasant and smiling. We don’t usually do chain restaurants but this is an exception and couldn’t fault it.
The service is always on point. The staff are very attentive and welcoming
Great food and excellent value ... a real gen in the heart of Hampstead. Sunday lunch was very busy and I don't know hoe they managed ial so well!
Brilliant. My wife and I arrived on the way to our son’s house so wanted a quick meal. She had the chicken and I had the fish parmentier. WaitressAgnes delivered drinks and the food in double quick time, but the food was delicious and beautifully cooked. With desserts and a glass of wine for her, cider for me and a well deserved tip the total bill was £55 - great value!
Excellent meal served by a wonderful waitress, evening only spoiled by an over officious and unpleasant manageress.
Warm Reception from Zoe and all staff upstairs at Côte Hampstead, Welcome Gin Cocktail was delicious and excellent food and service. Good atmosphere and look forward to returning on Mother's day for lunch with family.
It was mother’s day so pretty packed but emptied after a short while as we had4 pm booking Overall enjoyable and pleasant experience ... food always good
Amazing Really had good time .food is really good and we will come back for sure Thanks again .this is out first Time but not last!
I was tempted to arrange a meal out in Hampstead with 3 friends by Côte’s offer of a free Chocolate Mousse dessert. I wasn’t disappointed. One of my guests was a vegetarian and was pleasantly surprised to be provided with a separate extensive vegetarian menu. We tried the Seabass, the Pork Belly and Duck Breast all cooked as we wished. We washed those dishes down with some very drinkable Sancerre. The service throughout was friendly and attentive. I’ll be going back.
We enjoyed our meal very much which was no surprise as we are regulars here. HOWEVER when we left we were greeted with a parking ticket after parking in the High Street in the same area as I have done for the past 50 years. It seems that Camden Council do not want customers if local restaurants and bars to park in the evening. It seems the areas after 7pm are for loading and unloading which is bizarre as all the local shops are closed at that time. I suggest that your managers complain bitterly to the Council because you will lose a lot of business if you can’t park close by. And I know that is happening in so many high streets in London so it’s no surprise to see so many closed shops. I regret that I will not be able to visit here again - and every car along the road also received a ticket so I guess I will not be the only one
As always Cote offers an excellent lunchtime experience. Friendly, helpful staff,an ever changing menu, and good food in a lively, chatty ambience.Extremely hard to beat! Eminently repeatable.
Great food in a calm relaxing atmosphere, happy to recommend
staff initially unhelpful and clearly at end of their shift. We were having to ask to be helped. Not very pleasant welcome overall. Clearly a change of shifts at 4.30pm and eventually when we had a new person fresh on shift our experience was much better.
Had a lovely meal with wonderful service. Ordered the veggie breakfast, it was very delicious and the eggs were perfectly cooked. Food and drinks sarrived quickly and we weren’t rushed out once finished, we were welcomed to sit and chat. Thank you !
The booking was very easy and the staff were polite and friendly. The quality of the food was good although I was disappointed that there was no horseradish available for my steak. The restaurant did get busy and the attentiveness of the staff declined when the restaurant was busy. This led us to leave before coffers as the atmosphere was very hectic.
A most enjoyable meal, wines, with attentive but unobtrusive service.
Breton fish stew. No mention on the menu of the huge bread-and-butter basket that comes with it. Why not?! It’s easily 50% of the fish and wasted on me as I don’t eat bread = wasted food
