So glad our local Cote is back. Great food, lovely staff, nice room and very good value. Nice background music too, which is rare. Do check out Cote at Home - the meals and food from the butchery are similarly excellent.

We were welcomed back after the Covid-19 closure with complimentary cocktails, excellent food and service, and a very safe environment. It was excellent.

Good to see you open again and nice attentive staff as always. Felt a little pricey …. all of the add-ons including sauces, olives etc made it quite expensive overall The newly opened Bellanger next door offers a more luxurious environment and sensibly priced food - i think you might need to offer better deals. We want to stay loyal to your brand! Andrew

Overall we loved the return to opening at Islington Green. Yes fewer tables meant less people and a slightly less vibrant atmosphere, but the food was excellent and the portions generous , and the service as always was attentive and friendly - we missed you!!

As usual, very relaxed atmosphere with good food. Great for meeting friends without having to worry about the meal and get on and talk! Still have to learn about trends in drinks – cucumber in a gin & tonic – but all taken care of.

A lovely Sunday lunch with our son. We were sorry that the duck was finished, but we enjoyed the chicken, lamb and pork belly. We were impressed by the good choice for those eating gluten free, and the care taken to ensure food was correctly identified and served. The restaurant was pleasantly busy, and service was attentive without being overwhelming.

I’ve been to Islington Côte several times and the food and service are always excellent. Very good value for money, consistently delicious and also a good wine menu.

I was very disappointed in the food at cote brassiere despite changing my order 2nd time food was still appalling, I opted for the veg breakfast which was undercooked veg sausage, brown avocados and almost burnt toast then I chose the eggs Florentine the hollandaise was disgusting and the muffins were so stodgy and claggy I felt sickly after eating this, don't think I will be returning back

I think Cote at Islington is one of my favourites in this chain. Always a warm welcome and friendly service. Today was no different for my friend and I for a rather late lunch which was delicious. French onion soup followed by veal T bone for me and Stilton salad followed by duck for my friend. We even managed a dessert which is most unusual. As always, excellent service from the staff who are cheerful and helpful.

I love this Islington branch of Cote. It’s one of those few restaurants that really feels like a neighbourhood go-to and whether I’m there for a weekday coffee and pastry, weekend breakfast or lunch with the in-laws there’s a guaranteed warm welcome and good service. Please keep it up and thank you!

A group of friends and I regularly meet at the Cote Islington and especially enjoy the early evening/pre theatre menu which is good value. The staff are great and the atmosphere is good.

Not up to the usual high standard,had to send the first garlic/parsley bread back.Tasted like it had been defrosted and not thawed out in the centre and very dry tasting.Also the main course came up immediately after starting eating this and had to go back.Also noticed the usual candles were not put out so maybe this is not happening now.

We had a wonderful dinner, and staff were fantastic - they looked after us really well and made sure that our experience was great. Thank you!

Four of us had an enjoyable meal though the restaurant was very busy and we had to wait for wine until after we were halfway through our starters, which were delicious. The main courses were very good but my gluten free meal was almost cold which is not the first time to happen in this restaurant. The manager was absolutely charming, he seemed to be doing most of the work and made amends for the waiting time. We enjoyed our lunch as usual.

Cote Islington is never less than good, but yesterday it hit excellent. The service, as always, was friendly and efficient, but last night the food excelled.

For once a great London restaurant that is not screamingly noisy. Food was delicous. Service was great. This is a gem in Islington which I will certainly revisit.

Had to wait a while before someone came to greet me on entry - but otherwise staff very welcoming and efficient. Food realiable as always. Enjoythed the French 75 cocktail.
