Consistently good experience. Our favourite local restaurant. Menu changes regularly but the regular dishes are first class. Staff are all well informed and work with pride.

Not up to the usual high standard,had to send the first garlic/parsley bread back.Tasted like it had been defrosted and not thawed out in the centre and very dry tasting.Also the main course came up immediately after starting eating this and had to go back.Also noticed the usual candles were not put out so maybe this is not happening now.

Food was excellent and the staff were their usual friendly and welcoming selves. As it was Shrove Tuesday we rounded the meal off with the excellent Crepe Grand Mariner. Brilliant

Yesterday, as usual, we had a lovely meal. You were so kind to use the birthday cake I had brought in, added some little candles, and on top of that some sparkling rosé and sang to our birthday friend. It felt like one big family and we enjoyed it very much. And today I have lunch again in another Cote with other friends, can't wait! Elisabeth

It was a wonderful brunch after a wedding at Islington Town Hall. The staff were fab and the food was lovely. It's always a pleasure to come to Cote as the standards are really high whichever branch you go to

Cote Islington is never less than good, but yesterday it hit excellent. The service, as always, was friendly and efficient, but last night the food excelled.

For once a great London restaurant that is not screamingly noisy. Food was delicous. Service was great. This is a gem in Islington which I will certainly revisit.

Lunch with friends Ordered from the March Menu Highly recomend Tiger prawns and the Veal Mr guests enjoyed the Gin ! Very enjoyable afternoon great service as always.

As usual, very relaxed atmosphere with good food. Great for meeting friends without having to worry about the meal and get on and talk! Still have to learn about trends in drinks – cucumber in a gin & tonic – but all taken care of.

A lovely Sunday lunch with our son. We were sorry that the duck was finished, but we enjoyed the chicken, lamb and pork belly. We were impressed by the good choice for those eating gluten free, and the care taken to ensure food was correctly identified and served. The restaurant was pleasantly busy, and service was attentive without being overwhelming.

this Cote has really lovely staff. The female manager, Marta, always makes sure you feel welcome and the waiting staff are helpful and nice. Great team.

I was very disappointed in the food at cote brassiere despite changing my order 2nd time food was still appalling, I opted for the veg breakfast which was undercooked veg sausage, brown avocados and almost burnt toast then I chose the eggs Florentine the hollandaise was disgusting and the muffins were so stodgy and claggy I felt sickly after eating this, don't think I will be returning back

The service was appalling. We had pre-booked, but still had to wait while a table was prepared in a near-deserted restaurant. Nobody came to offer us drinks until 15 mins after we had sat down. We had to get up to replenish our own water bottles despite repeated requests. The bread I ordered never showed up. The Irish coffees we ordered took more than 15 mins to arrive and were stone cold. Probably my worst Cote experience ever! As we were hosting a publishing director from New York, I was mortified. I shall not be returning to this branch as this was my second poor experience there in six months.

As always excellent brood , great value and very nice bottle of wine! We said today,we have never had a bad meal in Cote,food is consistently good whichever Cote we dine in.Having eaten in most of central London's branches and several outside London.
