So glad our local Cote is back. Great food, lovely staff, nice room and very good value. Nice background music too, which is rare. Do check out Cote at Home - the meals and food from the butchery are similarly excellent.

We were welcomed back after the Covid-19 closure with complimentary cocktails, excellent food and service, and a very safe environment. It was excellent.

Good to see you open again and nice attentive staff as always. Felt a little pricey …. all of the add-ons including sauces, olives etc made it quite expensive overall The newly opened Bellanger next door offers a more luxurious environment and sensibly priced food - i think you might need to offer better deals. We want to stay loyal to your brand! Andrew

Overall we loved the return to opening at Islington Green. Yes fewer tables meant less people and a slightly less vibrant atmosphere, but the food was excellent and the portions generous , and the service as always was attentive and friendly - we missed you!!

this Cote has really lovely staff. The female manager, Marta, always makes sure you feel welcome and the waiting staff are helpful and nice. Great team.

Booked in January in response to the Free bottle of wine promo but when I came on 12th Feb I got neither the wine or the new marketing offer of a free Kirsch cocktail so a bit disappointed . Pork meat a bit too salty so only eat half of meal. Half chicken meal not so well cooked or presented for my colleague either so he only eat half. Usually have good value for money but at £30 a head for lunch it seemed a bit pricey for the food quality.

The food is always delicious and good value but it’s the staff that make the evening special . They always are so lovely , perfect !

A very enjoyable breakfast. Lots of choice but limited if you don’t like eggs. Very good service. Lots and f competition in this area but I will return again.

I’ve been to Islington Côte several times and the food and service are always excellent. Very good value for money, consistently delicious and also a good wine menu.

I had wonderful evening with my friends. All the dishes were delicious! The staff was friendly and professional. Lovely atmosphere! Highly recommended. I’d come back again.

Fantastic evening. We all really enjoyed ourselves. Wonderful food and service. I would thoroughly recommend a visit to Côte. I’m looking forward to our next visit and what next month’s specials will be.

I was very disappointed in the food at cote brassiere despite changing my order 2nd time food was still appalling, I opted for the veg breakfast which was undercooked veg sausage, brown avocados and almost burnt toast then I chose the eggs Florentine the hollandaise was disgusting and the muffins were so stodgy and claggy I felt sickly after eating this, don't think I will be returning back

I love this restaurant. You must have a really good chef because the food is always delicious and the staff really professional. 5 Stars !

Menu choice very good. Food well presented and flavoursome. Staff attentive, helpful and pleasant.Our group of 6 friends enjoyed our "catching up" leisurely lunch very much,and were not rushed at all. I had asked for a quiet table and apologies were made, as there was a large group nearby. But,as the restaurant was very busy, some noise was inevitable. We all agreed that it was a place to return to when we meet again.

I would have awarded 5 stars but we were a little disappointed that we didn’t get our free martini. We did say we wanted food off the lunch menu initially but it turned out only one of the party had the lunch menu the rest of the table ordered off the a la carte. The free martini was not offered again. Hence the lower star for overall and service. Maybe we should have asked but we didn’t think to do so. We did have a nice lunch despite this.

A warm welcome. I mentioned when booking we were celebrating my friends birthday, we were given a complimentary Kir Royale which was very much appreciated and enjoyed. The sevice was excellent as always. Food tasty, lots of choice. Reasonable prices and relaxed atmosphere

Well first off we decided to go a whole 2 hours before our actual reservation and they were able to accommodate us. So that was the first win. I'd reserved online initially and put down that one person was dairy and gluten free. As we were seated at our table, a gluten-free menu was immediately presented to us, without having to ask. And it was the same size as the normal menu! The staff were amazing, the food was yummy, they didn't make my partner feel like he was a nuisance for having dietary requirements. Definitely going back.

Initially there was some confusion over my special offer and I had to be quite assertive to have it upheld. However, the staff were very polite. Regarding the service, I thought it could have been a little more attentive, especially when 12.5% is automatically added to my bill, e.g.it took a little while for someone to come and take our order despite the fact it was early evening and there were very few people in the restaurant; once the dessert menu was brought the waiters seemed to forget to return to take our order; similarly, having received the bill, we needed to attract someone’s attention in order to pay it.

As usual, very relaxed atmosphere with good food. Great for meeting friends without having to worry about the meal and get on and talk! Still have to learn about trends in drinks – cucumber in a gin & tonic – but all taken care of.

We went for Mother’s Day and had lovely service and the food was great value, there is something for everyone on the menu. Would recommend based on this experience.

A lovely Sunday lunch with our son. We were sorry that the duck was finished, but we enjoyed the chicken, lamb and pork belly. We were impressed by the good choice for those eating gluten free, and the care taken to ensure food was correctly identified and served. The restaurant was pleasantly busy, and service was attentive without being overwhelming.

Very nice staff who even checked back that we had decided to go vegetarian even though we asked for the vegan version of the menu. Always a nice place to eat.
