Consistently good experience. Our favourite local restaurant. Menu changes regularly but the regular dishes are first class. Staff are all well informed and work with pride.

A group of friends and I regularly meet at the Cote Islington and especially enjoy the early evening/pre theatre menu which is good value. The staff are great and the atmosphere is good.

I’ve been to Islington Côte several times and the food and service are always excellent. Very good value for money, consistently delicious and also a good wine menu.

Great food options here and very attentive staff who paid special attention to my brother vegan. They ended up making a special meal for him as he also cannot have beans, lentils or pulses. I am very grateful to them for their help.

The food was good was usual. The staff weren't very smiley though except for the new trainee which was a delight. So I would go back again.

Stylish environment with nice lighting, ambience and attention to detail. Nice service, though my only criticism would be an urgency to take our order (it was lunchtime) before we had read the menus. It was not a working lunch, so we had the time to linger. I realise this isn't the case for all customers

Great atmosphere and service. The restaurant was really buzzing. We had a lovely bottle of wine, the food was good but lacked detail in parts eg toast a bit burnt and crepe a bit over cooked and dry, but the rest was it’s usual high standard.

Another very good Cote restaurant. Quality and value always consistent. Pre-theatre works very well as service is always good. Steak frites is always a good option.

Cote Islington is never less than good, but yesterday it hit excellent. The service, as always, was friendly and efficient, but last night the food excelled.

This was our second visit to your establishment (previously, we were there in March '19 and enjoyed it then) The food, the service, the atmosphere - everything, was on point! My two friends and I have decided to make Côte our meeting place at least 3 times a year! Special mention to the young Italian man who served us - he was kind, friendly, courteous and very efficient. I absolutely love this place. Now - I will recommend it to others but I must hasten to add that I am somewhat reluctant - as I (we) now see it as our place! Well done, and keep up the good work. As usual, very relaxed atmosphere with good food. Great for meeting friends without having to worry about the meal and get on and talk! Still have to learn about trends in drinks – cucumber in a gin & tonic – but all taken care of.

Very nice staff who even checked back that we had decided to go vegetarian even though we asked for the vegan version of the menu. Always a nice place to eat.

Booked in January in response to the Free bottle of wine promo but when I came on 12th Feb I got neither the wine or the new marketing offer of a free Kirsch cocktail so a bit disappointed . Pork meat a bit too salty so only eat half of meal. Half chicken meal not so well cooked or presented for my colleague either so he only eat half. Usually have good value for money but at £30 a head for lunch it seemed a bit pricey for the food quality.

Always my favourite restaurant around Angel station area. More than decent food at yhe right price in a restaurant of nice decor.
