For a chain restaurant we thought the food was really good. The staff we're friendly & efficient and the bill reasonable.

Although service was very good. Food was just ok..would of expected better for the price.. also We found restaurant to be quite noisy but it was Saturday night and all tables where full.

Very pleaseant lunch for my daughters birthday. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, great food selection and wines, and the service was excellent, felt very looked after. Will definitly return!

We love Lewes Cote but the waiting time for drinks and staff attentiveness was disappointing yesterday. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and food delicious as always. Maybe they were short-staffed.

We had a very nice lunch, I had the prawns gratin then the moules and a delightful complimentary gin cocktail thru the March offer.The service was friendly and professional.

I had the May fixed price three course menu and excellent value it was too. Quality food at a good price and excellent service.

Our starters were delicious but the mains were rather disappointing. My husband had pork belly which was comprised of about 50% fat. I had the swordfish which was fine but it sat on a bed of rather bland beans. The dessert; creme caramel, however, was delicious. As usual, the service was excellent. Our main waiter was Mark.

Excellent food and wine, tried your Valentines Day matching menu which was very good ! Only small complaint was that the courses came out too quick we had not finished our white wine which was served with the starter when the main appeared with the red wine.

Myself and partners favourite restaurant - we are always made so welcome . Fabulous food , excellent wine a pleasure to dine here .

Served by very professional friendly staff, as always by Cote’s. Great atmosphere and a superb, freshly cooked meal. The chocolate mousse and chocolate fondant are strongly recommended.

Four of us went for brunch. Very good food and very good service. Its difficult to fault this place. It was a bit quiet when we arrived (about 10:30) but was filling up by the time we left. Would certainly go there again.

Restaurant had a lovely feel to it. They had listened to our request made on booking. Food was lovely although feel vegetables should be included in cost.

We had a lovely lunch yesterday at Cote in Lewes to celebrate both the Birthday of my wife and her older sister. As always, the food, wine and service was 'second to none' and we had a great time. We also enjoyed the complimentary 'gin & tonics' Thank you to all the staff who made our lunch so enjoyable

'Proper' restaurant refreshingly free of muzak and other nonsenses. Comfortable, clean, friendly. Food was fine - except the potato extra accompanying the fish dish which was soggy and luke warm and obviously from freezer to micro. Only reliable restaurant in Lewes for people who want a nice meal. The free bottle of (very good) wine was much enjoyed.

Really enjoyable lunch at Cote in Lewes. Didn't know what to expect but from the moment of arrival we had friendly, helpful service. Good choice of menu including fixed price options. Food quality was very good. My only moan on the charcuterie starter was cold bread. Otherwise the Breton Fish stew was superb with a very tasty bottle of French Rose and a gorgeous Creme Carmel for dessert. The bill could have much higher in some other (un-mentioned) eating spots in Lewes. Well done Cote. We will be returning.

This restaurant is reliably good - food, service and atmosphere. I would thoroughly recommend it. It is very popular, so advisable to book in advance.

We visited Cote Lewes for a birthday meal. Food was great, the table could have been better though, its very cold by the windows at the front!

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal as always. Very attentive staff. Always an extensive menu and good value set menus. Very easy to book on line every time.

Beautiful warm cosy decor and soft lighting. Friendly welcome and very good waitress service. Varied menu. I had french onion soup which was piping hot and very tasty followed by lamb with vegetables, creamy mash and a gorgeous rich sauce. A very enjoyable evening and now my new favourite lewes restaurant. Will definitely be back.

Made to feel so welcome on entering you’re restaurant . Attentive staff , delicious food and excellent wine . Sadly when we arrived home we again found that we were charged for the complementary cocktails . We booked ahead and our cocktails were delivered promptly to our table . I hope this doesn’t happen again because to have to complain ruins our evening . We shall contact the restaurant tomorrow .

Very friendly ,helpful staff,good food and especially good Creme Caramel, could eat several in one sitting! Didn’t really like the table in the little room though.

I’m a regular visitor to cote but last two visits service has been disappointingly slow; today we had to wait too long before we found someone who would take our order for a bottle of wine. Restaurant seemed busy at 215; do they have enough staff? Food came quickly and was good but another too long wait and asked two people to bring bill. Felt let down.

Sadly I ordered Haddock for main course which was very dry and the skin couldn't be taken off. It was disappointing as I have had much better fish from you before.

We were a party of 6. Lovely staff, welcoming, helpful and attentive. Delicious Food beautifully presented. The restaurant has a very lively, convivial atmosphere... we had a brilliant experience. This is my favourite place to eat in Lewes.
