We enjoyed our Boxing Day meal without reservation. The same old service and quality with value for money. We shall come again.

Staff are amazing, and every time we go we have a fantastic experience. Food is always outstanding, and brilliant value for money. Would recommend Cote to all

Côte in Muswell Hill never lets use down - good quality, nicely cooked and well presented French bistro classics in a warm, welcoming restaurant. Classy Christmas decoration too! But what really sets this restaurant apart and makes it special is the service. Your team of waitresses and waiters could not be more attentive, helpful and friendly if they tried. Always a joy.

Christmas Eve has been a family tradition now for 5 or 6 years. This was the best one yet.

Overstretched, Overcooked and Over Here. Our 'go to' local for family occasions, Cote is Muswell Hill let us down badly last night. Though the Eastern European staff worked hard, our birthday celebration was ruined by staff shortages which badly delayed each course, and the poor state of the main courses - overcooked steaks and a sad, microwaved rump of lamb so dried out and meagre. We know its a modern Berni Inn, but we accept its limits because it is usually good enough in terms of service and food. So - no more weekend visits for Cote.

Great food if you like rich, buttery, garlicky food, and who doesn't? Service friendly and helpful. But it's boiling in there. Do remember to layer up so you can layer down!

Had a lovely pre-Christmas meal with friends - great that you can still order the early bird menu and are not limited to a Christmas menu like other restaurants. Very good value and lovely starters, very generous portions. Great service, very attentive and pleasant.

We enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and low noise level. The service was brilliant - thank you. I enjoyed my starter (Gravadlax) and fish main course very much, but found the dessert disappointing (melted cheese and grapes). Our wine was excellent. Altogether a very positive experience for the ten of us.

Booked lunch for a group of 4. The service was very slow although the restaurant didn’t seem that busy. We weee never asked how the meal was. Asked for tea but was informed there was no breakfast tea! Honestly could they have not nipped out to the shop and get some Earl grey was offered. Honestly! They need to do better as there are so many other restaurants in Muswell Hill which give better service

We came here with friends from France. The food was good, the atmosphere was friendly and the service excellent. Our friends also thought that the wine selection was good. We had a lovely evening.

Always lovely absolutely attentive staff with enough space to wind you day away. I would recommend this place for couples family or the meeting up with friends

As always, our favourite local restaurant was buzzing but the service was slick and the food mostly excellent as usual. The prawn salad special was a little tasteless and the rump of lamb came in two pieces one of which was very fatty and a little tough but the Tuna Nicoise and the lemon tart were both excellent.

The Prestige menu was excellent value. Very tasty food and decent choice of wine.

Very pleasant brunch. I'm not veggie (though my guest was) but I was surprised to see three meat courses as the weekend specials. In this day and age?! We went a la carte. Risotto, crepe and deserts good

The low scores above are related to one of our four meals being a disappointment. It was the salmon (prestige) dish which was notably overcooked and therefore very dry. We didn't mention it to anyone during the evening because we find such a complaint spoils the atmosphere of an evening out with friends. It's good to be able to mention it here, however. Salmon, after all, is fairly easy to cook so this really shouldn't have happened with an experienced chef.

It was a lovely time of the day for a weekend dinner. Food was fine, staff assissted with our requests. All in all, good dining experience.

My steak, ordered as medium, was on a slightly overcooked side. My companion had to send hers back, as it was dry as a rock. She had to wait for ne t one for a good 15 minutes, when new steak arrived, was still slightly overcooked. Staff was nice,wine was good. But at the end we noticed 3rd steak(surely someone added to the jill when we send original back). Slifhtly dissapointed customers...

Great food and service but a few menu items not available sadly

As usual, we enjoyed our evening at Cote where we chose to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. The November Special, Cassoulet, was disappointing with no Toulouse sausage in evidence and hard beans. However, this was quickly rectified with extra sausage and the super service of our charming waiter Teddy. The fish dishes were very good.

We were slightly disappointed with the services & food. Our dinner was given to the wrong table the couples adjoining us. I notice that when their dinner arrived he ordered steak & chips & was given stake & no chips!!!

Service was great, beautiful decor Inside. Ambiance nice. Salvador jus I had with my pork tenderloin was pretty tasteless...it needed to be thicker and more intense in flavour. Everything else lovely
