Very attentive service Food was very tasteful Only negative comment was my sirloin steak had rather a lot of fat and gristle to percentage of streak for the price point.

Nice welcome, good service, good food, tasty wine - a pleasant evening but for the noise. Soft furnishings required to absorb some.

Nice food and service was good until the restaurant got very loud and busy. We then felt forgotten and nobody asked us if we wanted sweets or drinks, so we paid and left.

The staff were very attentive and looked after us very well throughout the evening. We did not have to wait for very long for drinks and our food order was prompt as well, Food was fresh ( walnut and Roquefort salad was crisp and not limp) and full of flavour. My main meal was the fish parmentier which was hot and full of various fish and prawns - delicious. Thank you

Consistently good food and great value for money. Quite noisy due to the restaurant being busy and customers enjoying themselves! Good menu covering most needs. Regularly eat here and other Côte restaurants, and yet to be disappointed.

Cote Brasserie continues to give amazing value for a very pleasurable experience. Quality of service, food and ambience are always better than most if not all of its competitors.

As usual the food and service was excellent, the staff are always so friendly .we had an excellent table away from any draughts. We will certainly visit again.

Kept waiting for 45 minutes before any food served. Freezing cold at the back of the restaurant by the toilets. Slow service and fillet steak has gristle in it.

Hostess not very friendly. Seemed to be annoyed when we asked for anything. I have previously complained about the staff at Cote and I am really struggling to keep coming back as the attitude of staff never seems to really change. Really want a pleasant experience but every time we’ve come to staffs attitude seems to always let it down, we always feel so unwelcome when we dine here at the moment.

Meeting a friend halfway for us both. Always find Cote is affordable and reliable and delicious food

Excellent service and food as has been the case for the majority of our visits both to this location and others. We are always pleased that we are not rushed by the staff who are polite and accommodating.

The experience was all I would expect from a meal at lunchtime at a Brasserie. The staff friendly and efficient the set menu giving a good choice and the food served swiftly, hot and very tasty.

As always friendly reception and shown to my favourite table. I had lunch with my son and grandson who thoroughly enjoyed the mussels and steak and frites. The staff were very efficient and helpful yet unobtrusive. Our favourite eaterie in Newbury.

As ever the service and food was excellent. There were not many customers in and the staff were no simply stood around, they kept themselves busy and were very attentive.

Overall very pleased with our experience booked for my husband's 85th birthday! Staff were very attentive and we received a complimentary aperitif to celebrate the birthday, we thought this was a very thoughtful touch. Half way through the meal the table next to us was occupied and was quite noisy, you win some you lose some. Really enjoyed the food from the varied and well priced menus, my husband went for the premium set menu and I indulged from the A la Carte. Will definitely go again and recommend to friends and family, even if it is just for the creme caramel which was out of this world.

Food wasn't not quite up to the usual standard, but still okay. Staff friendly and not Too in .your face. Will definitely return to this restauran.

Disapppinted with sardine starter. No taste and very oily. Waitress disagreed with us. Main course and coffee good. Asked for water soon after arrival and were told we would be getting it free soon. Glass of wine rather pricey.

Generally we had a very good time lunchtime today. We were left alone, and were not hurried - but at times we had to call for attention! Nevertheless, the actual food was up to your usual high standard, and was enjoyed by all five of us. We always think of you for that " little bit special " occasion.

Enjoyed a brunch for mother’s day. Good atmosphere even though it was busy. Good service and didn’t feel rushed. Lovely food. I would recommend for brunch.

An enjoyable visit at Cotes again. The only downside was the time we had to wait to make our orders and for our food to arrive. Other than that it was excellent as ever.

Decided to have breakfast at Cote’s to celebrate Fathers Day. It was busy so the service was a little slow but food was perfect and the staff very attentive. Will definitely do it again.

We have enjoyed many wonderful breakfasts here but not tried the evening menu so the Valentine's menu was a great opportunity. Each course was delicious, the flavours and textures were very well put together. Based on this experience we'd definitely want to go back again any time of day.

Best place I have ever eaten. I am gluten free, and it was lovely to have such a choice, in the starters, main and desserts. Would definitely go again. Was the twins birthday meal for dad for father's Day, and they have all said they want to go back. Lovely staff. Perfect.

Excellent thank you. I had lunch with my sister who had travelled up from Dorset. We spent s long time chatting and catching up and didn't feel harassed or fussed by our waitress for being rather slow with the order and the eating!

Late lunch today and it was a little disappointing. Weekend specials weren’t exciting to us and the May specials didn’t appeal. So we turned to the main menu. Maybe because we have been visiting for a while now, there seemed nothing new added. Prices have increased but the menu hasn’t changed. Also we hadn’t finished our starter and the main meal was presented to us.There was then a short delay whilst table was cleared and cutlery replaced. We’ve been loyal customers but maybe it’s time for us to find a new experience.
