Cote Newbury continues to deliver amazing service and food. It's our favourite restaurant and really takes some beating.

Generally we had a very good time lunchtime today. We were left alone, and were not hurried - but at times we had to call for attention! Nevertheless, the actual food was up to your usual high standard, and was enjoyed by all five of us. We always think of you for that " little bit special " occasion.

Really good food, friendly staff and a nice atmosphere will definitely be coming back again. Beef fillet was beautiful.

We visit Cote often and are never disappointed. The food is excellent and the serve goo. Long may it stay so. We look forward to our next meal. Best wishes Alan

Decided to have breakfast at Cote’s to celebrate Fathers Day. It was busy so the service was a little slow but food was perfect and the staff very attentive. Will definitely do it again.

Lovely food wonderful staff it’s very pleasant dining experience will definitely be coming back again it a very rare opportunity me and my boyfriend get a date night and this was just wonderful

Had a nice meal as usual but poor service today due to a new person serving. He had trouble understanding English. Several mistakes. However, without even mention it, the house manager discounted our bill and apologised as was aware that the service was below par. Well done Cote Brasserie.

Food was better than expected as I was unimpressed with my previous visit two years ago. The service was attentive. Overall the dining experience is good.

A good meal, as usual. Would have liked the food to have been a little warmer though. When my husband's meal came it was not piping hot, hence only 5 stars and not 6

Lovely meal we had the pate and goats cheese starters followed by the steak and pork belly. Very good along with friendly service.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Côte last night. The service was great. The food from the starter to the dessert was top quality. Our steak was cooked to perfection too. Very happy with the evening. Thank you.

As a regular customer I regret the food and the service was not up to it’s usual high standard. It was a pity as we took our grandson with us. If it was our first visit to the restaurant we probably would not have gone again. We are back again this Friday with friends when we hope it will be back to the good food and service that we have come to expect from Cote Brasserie.

Party of 6 and the service was impeccable, nothing was too much trouble. The food was also fabulous, plenty of it and it was delicious. No complaints from anyone. Will defiantly be returning.

Food was great as always but service wasn’t great. Felt like we were forgotten about and had to get up and ask for service a couple of times, it wasn’t even busy. Then had the optional service charge added without us saying which was quite cheeky.

I took my teenage children out to dinner and all three of us thoroughly enjoyed our perfectly cooked and very tasty meals. Our drinks, Rhubarb Martinis and cloudy lemonade, were delicious and all food abd dribk was good value. We were also impressed with the courteous and efficient waiters. We will be back!

Always have a great meal here and the service is very good. We will definitely be going back again for more wonderful food ... chocolate mousse is the best

Food excellent, staff charming, house white a bit rough, but overall a very good experience, 2 x 'free' G&T's offer for booking drew us in otherwise we would never have gone out on a Monday night Pricier than many but considered good value.

Excellent and attentive service at the Newbury restaurant. I needed gluten free options as I'm a Coeliac and always know that I can safely. Our waitress was fantastic and very friendly without being obtrusive. I had the lamb rump and it was amazing as was the cheeseboard. Would highly recommend a visit. They also do a really good gluten free full English breakfast., although you don't get sausages or black pudding, which is a shame and I wish they did.

Starter never arrived, food was okay but not much of it, and quite expensive. I don’t think I would return.

Good food and ambience as previous. Continued reduction in staff levels has a detrimental effect. Toilet cleanliness an issue not helped by general use by odd members of public wandering in to use them

Every thing about this evenings meal was just perfect with a warm welcome, great service, absolutely terrific food and a very relaxed atmosphere. Just right for the celebration family meal for my daughters 21st birthday and great value for money. We continue to go to Cote regularly because we know that it is the best. Well done to all the staff.

Lovely warm welcome- I visited with my 2 sons in tow. It was busy, Fathers Day!! Busy atmosphere and some pretty poorly behaved kids using tables and chairs as climbing frames!!! Staff maintained their humour (a bit more than me anyhow!!) Service was swift and the food spot on. Thank you

If you wish to be treated like Royalty go to Cote Newbury! The food is great with huge choice, the service friendly and unobtrusive even when busy, nothing is too much trouble. Lovely buzzy atmosphere, our favourite eatery in Newbury.

Complimentary cocktail looked amazing. Tasted ok/average - would not pay for one though. Cote were very accommodating as I’d booked and cancelled tables to get the offer!! Lovely lady on reception - very chatty and welcoming. Service at table was very slow. Took quite a while to get water, drinks and to be asked our food other. We did pay device charge...but regrettably. Reception service great...but table service poor. On reflection we shouldn’t have paid this ‘added on’ charge. Don’t like the fact it’s automatically added to the bill. Love your salmon starts! Lamb chops were great too. Your food never disappoints.

I love going to cote for the service I get .and the livey food in all the year I've been going to Newbury cote for breakfast lunch and dinner .I've never had back meal it has always been excellent

We decided to book the wine pairing Valentines menu and were delighted. The service is excellent from entering Cote to leaving. You are welcomed attended never rushed and the quality of food we received was excellent. Can’t say any better than that

Nice early evening meal. Good service. Food standard Cote rarely disappointing and pretty good value for money pre 7pm. Wine choices ok some prices a bit steep.
