Once again tasty, filling but light food. Welcomed by all staff. Restaurant was busy and a little noisy but it was Friday night so no complaints. The specials are good too and i enjoyed the mussels in cider.

Excellent food and service as always. An excellent value breakfast, service is exceptionally quick and food is hot and freshly cooked. Staff are friendly and ensure you are well looked after

An Amazing time the food and service was wonderful a celebration meal for my stepdad who really enjoyed it the staff were so good bringing us champagne as we arrived to start off the celebrations .

We met friends for an early evening meal with our children. We really like Cote, our friends had never been before but they really liked it. We all had a lovely meal, all the food was lovely. The meals were lovely and hot. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

As usual there was good food and a varied menu with plenty of choice as welll as a good choice of French wines. Friendly atmosphere and helpful staff.

Restaurants in Newbury come and go - some with embarressing haste - but Cote remains ..... and for good reason. Supper this evening was excellent as ever. Thank you Cote.

Great meal on Saturday, the sole was as good as any Michelin restaurant. Always a good atmosphere and pleasant staff. Very reasonable bill too. Will definitely return soon.

My friend and I come here every 6-8 weeks for lunch, it is our favourite place. Sadly it was understaffed yesterday so the lovely waiter was struggling to serve both sides, leaving delays between courses. A pear crumble was served in a dish with rust around the edges, not their usual standard. My eggs benedict had fridge temperature ham served on hot toast and a poached egg rendering them cold,a,minute on the griddle would have helped. We will go again, we love the menu and usually the service is excellent.

Food was very nice, especially the chicken. Waiting staff were polite and efficient. I do not like service charge to be added to the bill.

Always lovely here! Friendly welcome, plenty of time to chat & peruse the menus. Charming staff & always the hot food is served hot!! Good choice of dishes for me as a coeliac , gluten free menu & plenty of options- never boring. Love the little flags 😊

Lovely breakfast as usual. Friendly staff in a nice calming atmosphere. Would definitely recommend. We also love Thier breakfast deal, any cooked breakfast with a hot drink and a juice for £9.95!

Another enjoyable lunch but my wife felt that the plaice had a little too much oil dressing for her taste. Overall we still enjoyed it.

Excellent service from very efficient and friendly staff. The food was of a very high standard and even though there were eight of us, it was all brought to the table at the same time. We were all very impressed and will certainly be returning . Very impressed.

Brilliant atmosphere! Staff were helpful and attentive, food was really enjoyable, steaks cooked to what you asked for. First time eating there and really enjoyed it. Will definitely be eating there again.

CÔTE Newbury is amazing! The menu is so varied that six of us can choose entirely different combinations from the set menu (which is full of excellent choices) and everyone has a perfect meal every time!

A lovely atmosphere and very attentive staff. The menu was interesting and had a good range of choices. Food, wine and service were really good.

We were a party of 6 and for the evening after Bank Holiday you were extremely busy which is good news for Cote. We were not kept waiting any length of time for the courses and as usual an excellent meal which we all enjoyed.

Menu full of excellent choices, staff very friendly and smiley and after a 3 1/2 hour lunch left, having not been pestered or harassed. Thankyou and we'll Be back soon

As usual with Cote Newbury the staff are very helpful, the food is excellent and the surroundings are comfortable and pleasant. We will book again.

Cite Newbury is exceptional because it has the best staff (long standing) and excellent service. We continue to return every month for our book group luncheon.

Fantastic. Menu changes monthly. Always good quality food and service. Special offers are often sent for regular customers. You can choose from good value set daily menu or more expensive a la carte

Good food, great staff, nice atmosphere and spotlessly clean. Cote does what it does very well. The food is always good, the staff are very polished and the environment is appealing, busy but not cramped.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the steak was lovely and I had chicken which was very tasty but a bit dry. We would go back to this restaurant again.

Delicious food and great service. We were well looked after and the ambience was great. There is a good choice in the menu and there were specials too. Highly recommended.

Lovely food and the staff were friendly but we felt we were rushed through our meal. No sooner had the bread and olives arrived than our starters were delivered. The same with puddings , as directly they cleared the main course we were asked for our pudding order and also our coffee order at the same time. Although it could be classed as efficient it was almost a fast-food experience. Not really relaxed!

Prompt and helpful service and lovely food, nicely cooked and in portions that are just the right size. We ordered from the set-lunch menu which is excellent value.
