Amazing food and a fantastic welcome from the staff x salad was drenched in oil so couldn't eat it but the main dish was amazing x

Great night with friends. Good food everyone had a different starter but the french onion soup was the favourite, the steak was popular for the main course, the chocolate mousse was to die for and the service was very good.

I eat regularly here but first time in the evening. Good intimate surroundings. Meal was served within 20 minutes. Good food. Just the right amount. Salmon was cooked just right. My colleague had parmentier and again well cooked. Food well presented. Waiting staff were very efficient and unobtrusive. Top experience as usual

Lovely ambience! Had a minor complaint about one of the dishes. The staff sorted it beyond my expectations and made the experience very pleasant. The Duck main was fantastic! Will definitely visit again.

It’s always a pleasure to dine at Cote in Newcastle. It’s a nice restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the food is always excellent. The French onion soup starter and belly pork main course are well worth a try. They also provide a separate gluten free menu, which is great for my wife as she is coeliac. I can strongly recommend core for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

We eat at he Cote regularly and have never been disappointed with either the food we chose or the service from the staff in the restaurant. We will continue to eat there and would recommend the Cote to anyone who likes a relaxing atmosphere and good food.

I brought three friends for lunch today who hadn’t been to Cote before. They absolutely loved it and we will return very soon. Thank you for wonderful service and food.

Food, drink, ambience and service were all fantastic we really enjoyed our evening. The only negative was the “optional” service charge of 12.5% put on the bill . Yes its optional however I would like to select the value of tip I leave which in some instances is greater than 12.5% but tagging it on the bill does give a sense of obligation whether it states optional or not to leave it on the bill and just pay it.

Excellent food very pleasant staff and lovely surroundings. The restaurant had a friendly atmosphere and was busy but not noisy. We certainly will be back.

Lovely meal as usual. The staff here are always very friendly and provide good service. There was a bit of a hiccup with deserts this time, but as they say "everyone has the occasional problem, but its how you deal with it". We were extremely happy with the way they sorted the problem. Will definitely be back. Great food, lovely atmosphere, great staff and good value.

Four of us went for my birthday. The service, and food were very good as usual. Excellent menu selection. Great value for money. Love the mussels. I’ll be back in a couple of weeks. This is my favourite restaurant in Newcastle.

The Cote experience never fails. Very obliging staff, ex cuisine and smashing ambience. Even Guide Dog Katie remembers her previous times and just loves certain members of staff.

The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming and the food was delicious. We were left to chat without feeling rushed but never left unattended for too long.

Lovely food! It was my boyfriends birthday and they treated us to a welcome drink which was a really nice touch. Great service will def recommend and be back again!

Your service was rubbish. We booked in advance but still had to wait some time to be seated. There was absolutely no eye contact from any of the staff only when he eventually came to take or order was any interaction. It appeared to us that the staff were totally disinterested in the customers. The meal was served, then the desert with not a single word from the server. If we had wanted a coffee, I believe we would have still be waiting! Also, why serve hot food on cold plates?

First time at Cote but definitely not the last the service was great and the food even better, lovely atmosphere and just the right amount of attention for the staff.

Côte Newcastle easily accommodated 11 adults and 3 children and having taken the booking some time in advance, we had pre ordered food which made service slick. Staff were attentive and personable and made the experience pleasant. The food was fabulous and everyone commented on the freshness of ingredients, attractive presentation and the flavoursome food. We made some beautiful wine choices too. Some within our party had not visited the restaurant before but said they’d definitely return.

This is an outstanding restaurant. Food was excellent and staff were great. Would definitely recommend.

First visit to Cote Brasserie. No regrets at all. It was a beautiful and spacious restaurant in heart of Newcastle. Our waitress was lovely. All smiles, replenished water regularly and very helpful. The menu was excellent and we were spoilt for choice. When it arrived the food was outstanding. We had a fabulous evening and would highly recommend this restaurant. We will certainly visit again. Wlmy friends and I had a wonderful meal in lovely surroundings with very attentive staff.

We ate from the Prestige set menu on a busy Saturday evening. Food and wine lovely and excellent service as always. Good value and friendly staff.

I booked the table for four for my birthday after receiving an email offering free aperitifs. We were not offered the drinks - I had to ask for them twice - we had a trainee waiter and then an experienced one and then the trainee again - by the time we received the two free drinks it was after the main course and not really appropriate by then. We were overcharged for our food due to confusion over what was ordered on the set menu and the a la carte. The small portion of bread and olives had an extortionate charge. We did not feel the 12.5% service charge which was automatically included in the bill was justified.

I eat at Cote a lot and staff are wonderful and food is always gorgeous with a great choice.

Really enjoyed our visit. We arrived just before 7pm and were still offered the early dining menu. Decided to have the three courses and have to say all the courses were good. Hubby decided to have steak and said it was one of the best steaks he has had in a long time. I opted for the seafood linguine and it was very good. Also enjoyed a really good bottle of wine. Can not fault the food or the service. Overall, a great night.

Visited Cote on the 15th June with my mam and sister, food was average. But our waiter was very arrogant and had a bit of an attitude and not helpful at all. Don't think I will be going back.

Warm welcome , excellent food and customer service and value for money at Cote Brassiere. Restaurant is well organised and kept very clean by staff. Would like to have some French Music played such as Piaf and Zaz.

First visit to Cote food was excellent staff were lovely and very helpful seating very well set out thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We would recommend Cote to our family and friends and will defiantly be coming back again.
