Good testy food, good efficient service, very pleasant atmosphere, the service was quite quick, with attentive waiters. I will come back and recommend to my friends.

A great breakfast with friends. A simple breakfast menu, that allows one order to be made and we get on with our socialising. Good service too.

As soon as we arrived we were seated at our table and the service was great from start to finish. I had a great brunch in a lovely environment and the food was really yummy too. Would recommend

Great food and friendly service. A little bit slow to be served initially but after the order was taken service was very smooth and the food delicious. Will definitely come back. Thanks for a great Mothers’ Day Lunch and especially thanks to our Italian waiter (whose name I didn’t catch) who looked after us so well.

Great way to start a Saturday in Welwyn Garden. Lovely smiley staff and delicious breakfast. Eggs with smoked salmon and a creamy hollandaise sauce. We will return!

Delicious food as always! Service in this branch is a bit slow which is fine unless you're in a hurry. I wonder why they don't have one member of staff in charge of the table as it always gets a bit confusing with nobody taking control over service. A great place to visit if you don't want to feel rushed!

When booking a table for valentines night I selected the 'a la carte menu' when booking. No mention was given of a special valentines limited set menu. We had already chosen our meals but they were unavailable so had to choose from the limited menu presented on the night. There is no way the meal was worth £92. Feel ripped off as there would be no availability elsewhere for that evening so we had to stick with it, but had to choose meals we would not have selected and it cost 50% more than usual.

Fantastic meal last night, thank you to everyone for making my mum’s 60th meal so lovely and the service was excellent. She really enjoyed herself and we all loved our meal.

Sadly we did not have a good visit this time. The food was delicious however we had to wait for some time for glasses for our water, despite asking 3 times. I specifically asked for very soft poached eggs and was brought very hard eggs. I had to send them back. We then ordered a coffee and after waiting for over 20 minutes had to ask someone to chase it up. After more waiting the coffee eventually arrived. At one point during our meal we were brought a coffee we didn’t order. The bill when it arrived was not correct as our waiter seemed unfamiliar with the ordering system and so we ended up with extra on our bill. This was sorted quickly once I queried it. The other thing that made us feel slightly uncomfortable was the waiter asking if we were finished, while we still eating our meal. We felt as if we were being rushed. It was a disappointing visit for father’s day.

Always a lovely warm welcome by friendly, professional staff. Great lively atmosphere even on a Monday night. Smashing complimentary Blood Orange Martini cocktail & food. Hubby said his filet steak was amazing! Thanks again.

I had breakfast with my daughter and the food service and atmosphere was first class. I will definitely visit for breakfast more often on a Saturday morning.

Had we known 4 pm is not a good time to visit the restaurant, I would have chosen another time slot. We were quite disappointed with the entire experience.... no one was there to greet us, we had to go and get our own menus, had to chase the staff to give our drinks order, squid was fried to destruction, chipped side plate was offered, but the steak was good. The desserts were brilliant. Otherwise, an experience I would like to forget!

Lovely evening. Staff very friendly. Good service & great food. They always remember us & even gave us complimentary glasses of champagne because we have just moved house.

Excellent service, delicious food, unhurried given it was St Valentine's Day - which meant I had to change my booking from 7 pm to 6.30 pm in order to benefit from the a la carte and specials menu. The only criticism was that my main course was not hot whereas both my guests meals were piping hot which I indicated to our waiter. The special deal - a free bottle of Merlot -was welcome and a good accompaniment to our meals.

Great atmosphere and service. Personalised experience as it was our anniversary - a lovely treat at the end of the meal, our pudding was put together as a sharing plate with a heart drawn in the middle. We couldn't have asked for more in terms of waiting staff attention and proactiveness.

Really loved the restaurant with a great atmosphere and gorgeous food, I had the duck. Sourdough bread to start with was perfect but no side plates. Also felt sorry for the staff who had to constantly avoid the little girl who was allowed to run around the tables until she got tired. Apart from that I will certainly return.

Main course was ordered incorrect. Quickly resolved-but my friend and I had to eat at separate times sadly. As only two of us was weird but as I say quickly resolved.

My Huxband snd I have dined in many Cote Brasserie branches and feel that the restaurant chain offers a winning formula - classy but relaxed ambience, substantial choice of delicious French style dishes including monthly changing specials, good wines and generally efficient service. Last night, as Cote subscribers, we enjoyed a delicious zesty lemon flavoured gin and sparkling wine aperitif for the two of us and our guest.

We had a great evening at Cote, we went into the restaurant at a busy time 7.30pm on a Saturday night as booked ande were seated at a table we like to use. The restaurant was very busy but with a great at osphere of people enjoying themselves. We had looked at the menus on line before arriving so had a pretty good idea what we wanted to eat. We were served drinks and our first coursein good time and the food had been cooked properly and was hot. The main course followed in good time and was also excellent. The staff were very busy but in good spirits and it was a very enjoyable night.

Excellent meal at Cote Welwyn Garden City as usual - had the Prestige menu today and very good value for money. French onion soup, pork fillet and creme caramel - all excellent.

Always lovely for a lady’s lunch ! The best dessert ever is Crème Brûlée. No one can resist it. Calamari as a main course would be lovely.

Popped in for a meal early on a Saturday evening. All the staff were attentive and friendly, the food was excellent and there was a nice relaxed atmosphere.

Food was not as good as expected. Breton chicken was too dry, calamari was greasy. Green salad also looked not appealing. My younger members of family (millennials) were all happy with theirs.

Wonderful food as usual...a little tardy in taking our order but all is forgiven! The St Germain Gin and Tonic was divine! My steak was great and my husband enjoyed the chicken from the specials menu. See you soon!!

Having only recently discovered that there was a French restaurant chain in the area, I was eager to try it. My brother and I enjoyed a meal at the Welwyn Garden restaurant, on a Tuesday night, so it wasn't mega busy. I chose the Warm Roquefort Salad...have never tried this dish before...it was tasty, but the Roquefort dressing was tepid rather than warm...maybe it's supposed to be like that, I don't know. My main course of Moules Frites was delicious, and plenty hot enough. My brother chose the Chicken Liver Pate, and a main course of Roast Duck. He enjoyed both. We both opted for Creme Brule as dessert...delicious, and freshly torched ! The staff were friendly and efficient, there was a nice atmosphere...the only thing I did feel was that the tables for two are a bit small. There wasn't an inch to spare, by the time our dinner plates, my bowl for moules shells and finger bowl were added, in additon to drinks glasses. I also do not like the policy of automatically adding on the 12.5% tip to the bill. I always tip for good service anyway...I would like to think that the majority of people do. I think this addition is cheeky, and unnecessary. Overall I was impressed with the meal and the restaurant, and would go again, but it would probably have to be for a special occasion, as it is a little expensive for my pocket.
