Lovely staff, food, venue and prices. 👍 What’s not to like.

I love Cote. It’s my favourite restaurant in Welwyn. Until Cote arrived, we had an abundance of Italian restaurants, and much as I love them, I love Cote’s menu. I had my retirement meal there. I’ve never had a bad meal there. It never disappoints.

Good food, good staff in a pleasant restaurant with plenty of space and real table napkins! We also benefitted from a good wine offer from Saga. Overall, first rate experience.

Service not quite up to your usual standard initially, but it did get back to 'normal' after a little time.

Been to Cote at WGC a few times now and never been disappointed. Went last night with friends and had great evening. Plenty of space between tables, service great, food wonderful and rhubarb martini amazing. Will be back

Fantastic food and excellent service. A really enjoyable three course meal from the early evening set menu that was value for money and tasted delicious.

We received a warm welcome on arrival and were quickly taken to our seats - as it was a quiet evening we had a choice on where to sit. Service was a little slow to start with and the French waiter we had wasn't that friendly however pleased to say the next waiter took over and looked after us the whole evening. Food as always was top class.

Great time at Cote Welwyn tonight. As always the food was perfect, they brought out the meal for our hungry little tot very quickly and we enjoyed it so much that we made another booking for tomorrow:)

A great breakfast with friends. A simple breakfast menu, that allows one order to be made and we get on with our socialising. Good service too.

Food was amazing, so delicious. We celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary here and will definitely be back again. The service was brilliant and we were so happy with everything on offer this evening. Such a great location for a special evening.

Love coming here we visit Cote often the staff are always friendly and the food is lovely. Can not fault Cote amazing atmosphere and ambiance most importantly we have two young children and staff always make them welcome and are very welcoming. Thank you Cote to all your staff and chefs for the amazing food made my fathers day experience perfect today.

Very limited vegan menu, only two doses. It says there is a separate vegan menu but there wasn’t, it was on the vegetarian one. Only sorbet for desert. When the dishes did arrive they were tasteless. Overall a very disappointing Father’s Day dining experience. Gave 2 stars just because the waitress was reasonably helpful.

There was a friendly welcome, efficient service, the food was cooked very well and arrived in a reasonably time, the offer with the booking of a G&T was well received, the wine ordered was at the correct temperature . Staff were warm and friendly throughout .

Lovely meal, the chateaubriand was cooked perfectly. Good, friendly service and the food came super fast!

Very good service the young girl is always fantastic and polite. Toast needs to be a little more done, that’s my only comment BW Karen

Honestly I chose the Cote because of the choice available on the menu. The quality was taken for granted and did not disappoint the service was also up to standard so why only 5 stars come on no one gets six stars.

Food was well cooked and presented, the staff were pleasant and the restaurant was clean. The only disappointment was that the service was slow, the waiters did not look to see if we had finished our course, so we had to ask for them to come to our table.

We had a most fantastic time for a 40th birthday celebration. It was the second time at Cote Brasserie and it was even better on this occasion with excellent service throughout.

Service was a bit slow to start with,especially as the restaurant was virtually empty at 3pm on a Tuesday. However, the food was delicious. The February specials were gorgeous - boudin noir and duck confit.

Lamb rump and Breton fish stew were delivious and meal was made extra special value by a complimentary Negroni!

Lovely relaxing evening, great food, service and atmosphere. The complimentary cocktail was delicious as was the sourdough bread, steak and chicken. The staff too good care of us and we will definitely go back.

Absolutely fantastic as always food was cooked to a high standard we needed to make adjustments to our booking and the manager was fantastic in accommodating our needs. Our waiter who i believe was called Andrew was absolutely amazing can’t fault him in anyway offered to replace the food my nephew had knocked on the floor tried his best when they had ran out of a specific juice. The only fault i had was that we were waiting over an hour for our meals and when we asked one of the managers he just disappeared and never came back so had to ask again which wasn’t nice but when the food did arrive it was lovely so a big shout out to the chefs who have probably not stopped all day :)

We chose Cote Welwyn Garden City to celebrate our 55th wedding anniversary last night. Our occasion was treated as special by your staff right from the moment we arrived. Your chefs are to be congratulated on the high quality of the food we enjoyed last night. I would also like to mention that earlier in the day with a group of friends for the first time chose Cote WGC for our regular every 6 week breakfast get together. My full English breakfast could not have been cooked better, we were looked after so very well and we have already booked again for our next breakfast get together. My wife and I have also decided that Cote tops our list of WGC restaurants so we have no hesitation in recommending it to others for its high quality for both food and hospitality.

As always, the food and service was excellent. This is by far my favourite restaurant in Welwyn Garden City.

We were warmly welcomed and served by a very friendly and helpful young waiter. Food was excellent and restaurant was ambient and comfortable. We shall return.

Excellent meal and service as always. It was a little bit noisy and hard to hold a conversation but that's to be expected on a Friday evening when it's busy and everyone is enjoying themselves!!

It was busy as it was Valentine's Day but the food was still delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed all the courses of our meal. The team though busy were very attentive. Thanks for a great evening!

Unfortunately we dined on a very quiet evening but the food ,service and attention and friendliness of the staff were all beyond reproach.It remains one of our favourites.

As always there service and food was excellent, new waiter Bart was excellent, he is trying his best to provide the best service for the customer.

Breakfast today was really tasty but the eggs florentine for a hot dish were a bit cold. Service was fantastic. Had dinner last week and the swordfish was the best ever!!

Great way to start a Saturday in Welwyn Garden. Lovely smiley staff and delicious breakfast. Eggs with smoked salmon and a creamy hollandaise sauce. We will return!

Fantastic meal last night, thank you to everyone for making my mum’s 60th meal so lovely and the service was excellent. She really enjoyed herself and we all loved our meal.

Having only recently discovered that there was a French restaurant chain in the area, I was eager to try it. My brother and I enjoyed a meal at the Welwyn Garden restaurant, on a Tuesday night, so it wasn't mega busy. I chose the Warm Roquefort Salad...have never tried this dish before...it was tasty, but the Roquefort dressing was tepid rather than warm...maybe it's supposed to be like that, I don't know. My main course of Moules Frites was delicious, and plenty hot enough. My brother chose the Chicken Liver Pate, and a main course of Roast Duck. He enjoyed both. We both opted for Creme Brule as dessert...delicious, and freshly torched ! The staff were friendly and efficient, there was a nice atmosphere...the only thing I did feel was that the tables for two are a bit small. There wasn't an inch to spare, by the time our dinner plates, my bowl for moules shells and finger bowl were added, in additon to drinks glasses. I also do not like the policy of automatically adding on the 12.5% tip to the bill. I always tip for good service anyway...I would like to think that the majority of people do. I think this addition is cheeky, and unnecessary. Overall I was impressed with the meal and the restaurant, and would go again, but it would probably have to be for a special occasion, as it is a little expensive for my pocket.

Friendly welcome as always. Service friendly but professional. Lovely food and relaxed atmosphere. Never rushed to leave.
