We booked a table for four on Friday evening. Our starters were delicious, but our main courses Were below the standard experienced on previous visits to cote, which sadly disappointed us. Our waitress was delightful, but stressed because your restaurant was understaffed. I have booked a table for nine or ten in July, (booked before Friday's visit) and I truly hope that The standard of food won't let you down on that evening.

Perfect as usual! If I had one tiny piece of feedback, i would love a soup spoon when eating soup and not a pudding spoon.

The starters took a long time to arrive and just warm when they were supposed to be served hot. The calamari was quite oily. I cannot fault the main meals!!

Great breakfast, service was quick and the formula deal was used by all. Booking also easy to do. Would go again soon with the family

Had a deal for my birthday that my party would all receive a Kir Royale upon arrival only to be told when we arrived that it was only if we ordered from the a la carte menu. The email I received did not contain any conditions to this effect and we did not receive our promised free drink! Very disappointed with this!

Friendly and welcoming staff. There is a good choice on the menu and the food was excellent. We were looked after well and I'm sure we will return again soon.

Great food and lovely atmosphere. The birthday Kir Royal offer was great and got our party off to a flying start. You never feel rushed when eating at Côte.

Lunchtime visit, we went for the fixed price lunch time menu. The good was excellent as usual, and the service to match. All in all a nice meal out, without the kids for once!

We went here for a fathers meal. Overall we had a nice time. However, service was quite slow and they had ran out of a couple of specials (by 12:30 lunchtime). Also one of our party had their starter forgotten. But the food was very good though.

Friendly as ever but very slow service, presumably because it's Fathers' Day. It's evident that whenever business is brisk, service falters. More staff needed perhaps?

Quality of food, menu variety and service from waiting staff were excellent, however, everything was let down by the kitchen. Service was extremely slow - 25 minutes to serve a cold dessert is not acceptable - and then a 12.5% service charge added on automatically left a rather sour taste. What a pity as this was otherwise an excellent restauarant.

We were given a choice of where we would like to sit and service was very helpful and friendly. Food was fresh, hot and good sized portions. I had the crab to start, which was very tasty and then the filet steak. The beef has so nice, but wish I had asked for it to be medium rather than medium/ well done. Pudding was large so we were pleased to be sharing. Highly recommend. And will be going back.

Food good, waiting staff very nice, courteous etc, but everything very slow. 2 and a half hours for lunch! Restaurant was not busy. I could understand delays if the kitchen or front of house were rushed off their feet but the place was not even half full.

As always the staff are very helpful and know what they are providing you with. The food is uniformly good no matter which restaurant you go to. We also have two members of our family who are gluten intolerant, so it's great to know that we can always get a variety of meals for them it takes the stress out of dining. Good work keep it up.

We had the best time at Cote as our food was beautifully presented and delicious. We were looked after so well by the waiting staff. Will definitely go back.

Had the 3 course for £13 was ok chicken bit overdone and felt a little bit rushed too. My partner had the mussels which were very small with a few with no mussels in!

Our experience was good if a bit noisy except for the hoops we were put through to claim the 25th anniversary complimentary glass of kir royals.

Service slow - waiter didn't introduce himself and had to wait for olive sticks one of which we got was dirty. No salt and pepper on table - this was despite making a reservation. Also they s need unsure when I mentioned cote reward wine . I cannot fault the food fantastic thank you

We arrived early and they catered for us straight away, even though they were busy. The table we were offered was not very appealing, cramped area and in a busy walkway. We asked if there was anything else available and they arranged another table for us with only a short wait. We were served at a friendly non rushed pace and were not left wondering were our food and drinks were. Friendly and helpful staff and the food was well presented and very enjoyable. Tap water was available on request which arrived quickly and is served filtered and not straight from the tap. I will be more than happy to return to this venue and I would also recommend to others.

Staff are helpful and courteous, nothing is to much trouble, they smile and are friendly. The food is of a high standard and cooked exactly as requested. 👍

This is a good addition to the Welwyn Garden City restaurant scene. The food was nice and the service friendly. It was a bit rushed food-wise but didn't detract too much.

Good food and good service. My wife and I really enjoyed our meals. The only minor negative would be that if you don't drink wine there's only a small selection of drinks to choose from.

Had a lovely meal. A little confusion over the table at the start but it didn't spoil anything. Bread came out at the same time as starter but should have been before but it was taken off the bill. The service was excellent and so was the food.

Excellent food - good portion size and beautifully cooked & presented. One of our party is gluten free and it was handled very well - service was perfect. We will be back!

Always excellent food and friendly service. We always stay too long! If anything, it's just the bill/card machine which could do with coming more speedily at the end once asked for - really appreciate not being rushed, but once requested...

We have eaten here a few times now and have always enjoyed ourselves. There is always something on the menu I would like to eat and it has always been cooked well. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. One of the best places in Welwyn Garden for a bite to eat. (Breakfast is good as well.)

Really good food as usual. The service was good too, although most of the mains arrived a bit too fast (we hadn't finished our starters yet!). One of these plates arrived a bit late instead, but they took it off the bill. All in all, still a very good experience enjoyed by all.

Great restaurant with charming staff, good food, nice location overlooking Parkway, with the open wall of bifold doors being a real bonus on a hot evening.

Great service and food was delicious. The waiter was very helpful and nothing was too much bother for him. The atmosphere is also very good and our friends enjoyed it very much.

Food was very good but expensive for what it was. I am not in favour of so-called optional service charges of 12.5% which puts customers under pressure to accept that % rather than leave a discretionary tip. The free "rewards member" bottle of wine was very nice but was charged on the first bill and had to be deducted on request, albeit without any argument.

We love this place and go once a week! Mussels and fries are great , complimentary Kir Royals on your Birthday .. what's not to like.. great food fab service!

Easy to make a reservation on line for a specific time and area of seating . Welcoming attitude and attentive but not intrusive service. With a wide choice on the fixed menu and on the table d'hotel it is always a pleasure to dine there.

Lovely meal and very slimming world friendly, it's one of the few restuarants I know that I'm sure to find something on the menu to suit my needs. The staff too are excellent

Good. My salmon was not cooked through but they replaced it. The crème caramel at Côte is to die for. Appreciated the free kit royals.

Food was amazing as always. Never had a bad meal. Impeccable service from the moment you are seated to when you leave . Highly recommended !

We were greeted as soon as we arrived, shown to table and given drinks straight away. Orders were taken swiftly with cheerful attention, our requests were noted and our meals arrived very freshly well cooked and well presented. Our waitress was attentive to our needs with extra drinks etc.. A great experience today!

Disappointing service.One order forgotten ,had to go to the bar to order more drinks as no-one around.Food of the usual good standard but not as enjoyable an experience as usual.
