Cowshed - Liverpool

Went with my husband and two grown up children. Staff literally could not do enough for us. Excellent service and lovely food. Would definitely recommend.

Delicious food. Steak was perfect. Sauces delicious. Lovely fresh cocktails. Sticky toffee pudding was light and tasty. Lovely friendly staff. Nice room to sit in.

We’ve been a couple of times now. Lovely chilled out place, excellent service and great steak. Not over the top prices either - would recommend.

Amazing food. I went for the cheeseboard with the sides and my partner went for the special - AMAZING. Great service - the waitress was really lovely and engaging. We will definitely be returning again soon!

The service is second to none - we have had Jazz as our waitress the last couple of times we’ve been and she’s always attentive but never puts pressure on, whilst also having a bit of a laugh while taking the order. I can also recommend trying the maple old fashioned and white chocolate espresso martini! We’ll be back!

Had a really great meal at Cowshed - they do steak, and they do it well, with a selection of tasty accompaniments, the garlic mushrooms were particularly stunning. Also had a lovely bottle of wine, as recommended by our waitress. Great food, great atmosphere, will definitely be back :-)

The speed of service was excellent, the staff curtious and the food was value for money. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who asked.

Attentive staff & best steak I’ve ever had. Never had med/well before but was talked into it , won’t be going back to well done now , was like cutting through butter Charming Rustic place.... highly recommended

The staff were really friendly and genuine. The steak was cooked to perfection and the side were beautiful. The staff recommended the wine which was nice and light throughout the dinner. Well worth a visit. Thank you to all at cowshed from Belfast!

Great friendly service and fabulous steak . Not a huge menu , but what they do is done exceptionally well. Thoroughly recommended. If you want a steak its the place to go

Good service. Food was nice and reasonably priced. Ribeye was tender and tasty. Hanger steak was unfortunately very chewy with a lot of sinew in my piece. Wouldn't have that again. Only real negative for me is the place lacks atmosphere and is rather cramped.

If you like steaks, look no further as you will struggle to find a better quality cut. This is a converted Georgian house with nice décor, friendly staff and excellent value all round.

A bit out of the way but worth the walk, Beautiful food well prepared Staff very pleasant and willing I think you would always have to book, every time we've been its been full even mid week. If mobility is a problem you would have to ask for a ground floor table as the stairs to the upper floors are steep.

Booked to take our two teenage boys out for a good meal. Service was really good and steaks even better. Food came at a steady pace with enough time between courses. Mac n cheese croquets were fab. I had fillet steak special with garlic mash. I was apprehensive as I don’t like blood. Server assured me medium would work for me. It was delicious and the pepper sauce was spot on. Drink service was great too. Didn’t have desserts as we were too dim. Excellent night and highly recommend. Only reason I didn’t give full marks is because we found the seats to be so straight backed they weren’t too comfy.

The setting was nice, but we were in the middle of the room which felt a bit awkward. My husband and I had different steaks, they were both nice but didn't wow us unfortunately. Maybe it was an off night.

Beautiful food which came out on good time and the staff was all very attentive. The prices are worth the food quality and the portions are good, would recommend reserving especially between Friday - Sunday

The Cowshed has excellent service food and atmosphere . I would recommend this as a place to go to anyone visiting Liverpool. First class restaurant.

Amazing steak, amazing sauces, very good value for money. The ‘greedy cow’ dish is a unique idea and great for sharing. High quality dishes at very reasonable prices, I would definitely recommend. Also has good cocktail menu with some original cocktails and nice bar area for having a drink before or after your meal

Visiting Liverpool for the weekend and just had a wonderful meal at Cowshed. Staff fantastic. Menu great and food ordered absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend Cowshed in Seel Street.

This restaurant was excellent. The bar area is small but big enough as it is just a waiting area until you are seated .... it also serves gorgeous cocktails. The menu although small is perfect and clear to understand. The portions were perfect. The service was spot on. Would highly recommend this place .... if you like meat!

Well what can I say it was above what I was expecting they know how to cook fabulous steaks They even did gluten free and dairy free with little effort
