Great steakhouse. Service exceptionally quick Everything was perfectly cooked, the sides were excellent. I would recommend the 'greedy cow', £40 for 3 steaks 2 sides and 2 sauces

Fantastic food and great service. One of the best steaks I have ever had. Such a good atmosphere and the music is brilliant. Would definitely recommend.

Ambience average. Service good. Wine/cocktails good. Special fillet excellent. Ribeye average. Sides good. Pudding/cheese good. Toilets freezing. A good night but room for improvement. Overall good value for money.

My partner and I are big steak fans and were not disappointed with the cowshed, the staff were excellent and very noligable and the food was delicious.

Booking was easy, even when I had to change it - the staff were friendly and most helpful when I called them. Everything was also confirmed via e-mail. The staff at the restaurant were extremely welcoming, helpful and were not 'in your face' every two minutes. There was no feeling of being rushed when making menu choices. The food was outstanding. Beautifully presented, timely, and most importantly, delicious. The surroundings are rustic and although the rooms are relatively small, there was not a feeling of being on top of other diners. The food is reasonably priced for the quality. I would recommend Cowshed to anyone who enjoys a good steak.

Got to love a good piece of meat... perfectly cooked! The added blue cheese sauce and rounding off with a sticky toffee pudding made for happy tummys! Thank you!

It was our first visit to Cowshed and we’ll definitely be back. Service and atmosphere were exceptional. We had the steak sharer between two people and it was delicious. Really good value and a great evening

Lovely atmosphere, small but perfect for us. We couldn’t fault the food, steak was full of flavour and beautifully cooked, and the sides were delicious (we got 5 between us and ate every bit!).

Dont change anything. Just open in Copenhagen :). The service is exelent just as The food and The Wine. The sticky toffee pudding is to die for

Pleasant restaurant in Liverpool with good food. The meat was cooked to perfection together with the sides and starters. The atmosphere was good as well.

Cozy room on a freezing night, delightful service, excellent steaks and sides and very reasonably priced. Didn’t eat desert but cheese cake looked yummy. Good coffee.

We had the most amazing lunch at The Cowshed , from entering the restaurant to the Guy taking our order. We had the most succulent fillet steaks, I had the special -fillet steak on a bed of leeks with garlic wedges and a tomato gravy. My husband had the fillet steak with amazing crispy fries. We finished off with a superb cheese board ,all washed down with a bottle of wine. Thank you folks we will return.

Quite disappointed. My husbands steake was not to his liking too rare for him. He asked for it to be flashed up a bit and was brought back exactly the same. We are the paying customer so surely just cook as we would like

Steak was amazing - as was the creamed spinach! Staff were experienced and service was great, just something missing as far as atmosphere, I guess due to the room being at the back away from everything?

A lovely quiet early dinner prior to visiting the theatre. A long overdue return visit following a previous first visit at Christmas with family. Service and food both excellent. Shared the greedy cow with my husband and the variety and quality of steak was excellent. The sides were as tasty as last time. We will be back.

Nice cosy and intimate restaurant. Staff were attentive and service was great. All the food was tasty and plentiful servings. I was visiting Liverpool for the first time and glad I had done some research on suitable venues for eating out. This one didn’t disappoint.

Excellent food and good service. We both had the fillet steak which was cooked to perfection. Not an extensive menu but if you like steak you will not be disappointed.

Was told it was a small place without much noise. Well, we were unlucky and was tabled beside a henparty. The food was a bit disappointing. The flat Iron and the rump you had to chew and chew before swallowing along with water. The bernaise was more cream than sauce. The dessert was lovely. Overall quite disappointing.

Nice dining experience! The steak was cooked very well and its taste was excellence! The rib eye steak is highly recommended! The dessert was also very good, especially the soft toffee pudding with an ice cream ball!

Steaks were excellent cooked exactly as ordered. wine and gin selections are good, but could do with a single malt behind the bar. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would be a 6 but pudding was disappointing.

Not only was the steak I had one of the best steaks I've ever had (flat iron, mid-rare), it was one of the best MEALS I've ever experienced. Also, do yourself a favor and get the creamed spinach. You will not be disappointed.

We were recommended this place by a friend and were so glad we took their recommendation. The steaks are fabulous and cooked to perfection........have The Greedy Cow, it is immense. The service was excellent. Very friendly staff, nothing was too much. Have booked to go back for our Son's 30th Birthday celebrations.

Food was great, went for the selection of three steaks and each was amazing.

I visited the cowshed yesterday (Saturday night) with my husband. A thoroughly enjoyable evening. Absolutely delicious meal, we both chose the fillet steak special with bourguignon sauce as recommended by our lovely waiter. Cannot fault a single thing, a really lovely evening. Would heartedly recommend a visit and will definitely visit again whenever we return to Liverpool.

Amazing. The service was excellent, staff very attentive. And the food was lovely. Had 2 starters, the potato skins were fantastic. Had the flat iron steak (cheapest but also tastiest, we had the platter last time and this was the best) 2 sides sweet potato and creamed spinach which were both lovely and then two sticky toffee puddings. Absolutely lovely!

This place is just absofucklingutely fabulous! The food is amazing and the wine is superb! Our table wasn’t the best and we asked to be moved which was no problem! Brilliant friendly service on both occasions visited and can’t wait to go again!

Fantastic decor and service, has the best old fashioned cocktail in the city. The only one slight negative was the flatiron steak was very chewy. Ribeye was outrageously good! All in all a wonderful experience will 100% return.

The best steak place in Liverpool with a great selection of beer. Service is always top notch and you can guarantee you will leave 9 months pregnant with a steak baby.

Great food, great service. The steaks fell off the fork. Cooked to perfection. This was a great find and we will definitely be back next time we visit our son in Liverpool.

We were really impressed with the Cowshed. All of the staff were really welcoming and helpful. The guy that served us the most was one of the best waiters I’ve ever had. The menu was clear and straightforward and left us with some tough choices. The Rib eye and the dishes we chose to go with it were fab (loved the mushrooms in truffle butter !). The choc tart was equally as good and the evening was topped by the inventive staff (having worked out that it was my wife’s Birthday) delivering her cheeseboard with a lit candle and “Happy Birthday to you”. Well done Cowshed, even on a Sunday evening ... ! We’ll be coming again.

Absolutely brilliant!! Good service, good food, good atmosphere! Only problem was there isn’t a huge range of cocktails to chose from. Overall, an excellent restaurant.
