Cowshed - Liverpool

Excellent service, excellent food, lovely ambience. One tiny criticism is that as they removed starter plates as we finished,main was served. Would've liked a longer break between courses.

Highly recommended. Would of scored a 6, but they forgot to bring a drink & had added it to the bill. Apart from that the overall experience was excellent.

Had a lovely meal here, this was our 3rd visit . Steaks were cooked to perfection as was all the food. Mushrooms were very tasty. Really nice atmosphere about the place and would recommend to family and friends.

Best steak we've had for ages. Rub rye melts in the mouth. Desserts equally tasty. Lovely quirky, intimate setting. We would highly recommend, and will return.

The best Fillet steak we've ever eaten! Cooked to perfection, also highly recommend the green beans, garlic mushrooms, waffles and eggs too! An amazing meal!

The meal was one of the best I’ve ever had. The meat tasted perfect, and so did the potatoes and vegetables. The waitress recommended a wine from Chile, that complemented the meal perfectly. If any constructive critic has to be made, i was not as happy with the desserts, but the dinner was so good, that i’ll give a top grader anyway. :)

Very quick service. Nice selection of non-typical cocktails and beers available. Food was amazing, served quickly and hot. The layout of the building is the best feature, with the restaurant being comprised of small rooms where diners eat.

Cosy , friendly welcome. Efficient but relaxed service. Food delicious, and as ordered. Good drinks selection including my favourite Wainwrights ale. Wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommended. Staff excellent.

We had really good food - very tender steak - with attentive staff. We all liked the booth type tables. Would recommend the place to friends.

Very enjoyable experience. Friendly and attentive staff. Limited menu (and better for it) with emphasis on steak. Very good quality beef and very well and accurately cooked. Good value for money. We will certainly return when next in Liverpool.

Was recommended to us to try and it did not disappoint. I had the ribeye and my wife had the fillet. Both were cooked exactly as we requested and were lovely and tender. The peppered sauce was excellent and the mushrooms in truffle butter delicious. The sticky toffee pudding was a very generous portion and was one of the best I have had anywhere. The only issue we had was the stairs. It is on 3 floors and the toilets are in the basement and the stairs quite steep which was not great for my wife. Don’t let that put you off, but be aware if you are not great on your feet. We will most definitely be dining there again.

Both food and service were excellent, staff very attentive, my husband and I both enjoyed the music, a mixture of old an new and very much to our taste. Will definitely go back again, nice atmosphere.

May be a little bitter to us and 3 medium rare steaks is not totally the same.By the way, the restaurant is well decorated and arranged!

Had a great meal at Cowshed last night. Staff very friendly and efficient. Food very tasty and not overpriced. The only disappointment was the double espresso coffee at the end of the meal as it was very weak and lacking the all important crema that should be on the top. Maybe Cowshed needs to invest in a new coffee machine?

Reasonably priced for quality steak and gorgeous sides. Very small and intimate venue with very friendly staff. We had a lovely meal and evening, thank you.

We had the greedy cow- 3 steaks to share. It was brilliant, steaks were cooked to perfection. We had 3 courses and the service was speedy.

The service was brilliant and the food was absolutely amazing. The tirimasu cocktail is the best cocktail I've ever tasted aswell. Great value, I will reccomend it to anyone.

Warm and friendly staff, amazing and very reasonably priced food, I enjoyed the choice of music such as led zeppelin, jimi hendrix and other classic rock tracks. Overall a great experience and highly recommended.

We liked nearly everything: service, interior, cocktails, quality of food and prices. We ordered bow marrows (£ 1 each) for extras. I have had better ones elsewhere. Then again it was a nice visit and will certainly come back.

All i can say is Amazing, we had another Greedy Cow to share. Medium Rare is the only way to get your steak anything else would be criminal. Staff so freindly and professional. Highly recommended 5 Stars

Outstanding steak restaurant in Liverpool. We couldn't really fault this place. Really friendly staff & service, with terrific food. Our steaks were excellent, as was the cinnamon & apple spring roll we had for dessert. Well worthy of the high reputation!

Best cooked and flavoured steaks the four of us have had for a very long time. Excellent service and a nice cosy atmosphere too! Finally, all things considering very good value for money.

Very easy to review... this is a Great restaurant. The food was outstanding. We had fillet steak which was perfectly cooked and so so tasty. The sides were lovely (we ordered a few and shared them between us) The sauces were great, I had blue cheese which was amazing Finally the staff were very friendly. If your in Liverpool and love steak you will love the Cow Shed👍

Lovely meal. The steak is to die for and the sides were equally as nice. Pleasant atmosphere and very friendly staff. Recommended if you want to spoil yourself.

Exceptional food, exceptional price, exceptional staff! Couldn't have asked for a better meal to have with my girlfriend. I Would definitely go again for sure!
