Absolutely superb.. that is enough said.. if you're in Liverpool and like steak you have to go.

Great place to meet up with old friends, with lots of small rooms on different levels. Choice of steaks good, though vegan/veggie choice limited (not that this was relevant). A good dessert menu - bread and butter pudding with custard... what more can you ask for. Staff friendly, very reasonably priced too.

My boyfriend and I spent the weekend in Liverpool. We found Cowshed on TripAdvisor and thought we'd treat ourselves to a nice steak dinner for his birthday. They did not disappoint! We got the greedy cow to share which came with 3 different types of steak. It was melt in your mouth, so tasty, up there with the best steak we've ever had. They even gave us a shot with our Bill to celebrate my boyfriends birthday. Fab customer service. Highly recommend.

Food was fab and especially the special option. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only disappointment was the limited choice of dessert. None of us ordered dessert and we usually all do. Maybe a review of the dessert options please.

Had to send my steak back as it looked like it had been microwaved to defrost it. I then had to wait for 15 minutes for a replacement. Will not be going back.

Food was excellent here but it was the staff that made the evening a great experience. Acknowledged as soon as we walked in with a friendly greeting , and we experienced some of the best service we have had for some time . Highly recommend this restaurant.

Fantastic food and service. A group of 5 of us visited cowshed and we all thoroughly enjoyed it, including the Nutella cheesecake and the greedy cow.

Great meal had by all. Superb steaks, good Rioja and excellent service. An unassuming restaurant set out over three floors in a townhouse with a good atmosphere.

Lovely little restaurant. The staff were all smiles and our server knew her stuff, was super helpful, setting a great atmosphere. The food was served promptly, well presented and very tasty! At a push the panacotta was a little too heavy. But we found the Black Malbec wine special fantastic! Still smiling about it when I woke up this morning! It's a steak house where the quality of the non-steak items is just as important as the main attraction!

Loved it, staff were friendly and helpful, decor wa lovely, enjoyed the wine, steak just needed a bit more seasoning, overall a lovely intimate meal eith my husband! ❤️
