Very disappointing this time round and poor service not the usual standard at all. The scones for afternoon tea were not fresh that day and we waited 15 minutes for a bottle of wine and then had to chase up.

The service was terrible. I think this was because its the run up to Christmas so I will give it another go. Just be prepared to wait and wait and wait.... and to have to ask for your coffee to be refilled and ask and ask......

From the minuit moment you walk in, your overwhelmed by its wonderful atmosphere. The staff are lovely. The food was great. Really worth a visit.

The place is fantastic, the cocktails are great and all the staff are really friendly and helpful. But the food was a bit of a let down. I had the fish finger pitta bread but they were more like fish bites, there were only 3 and they were lost in the pitta bread and the bowl of soup was really small — this is the first time I’ve been disappointed but I’ll definitely be returning for cocktails

Booked a few days before our visit but in the meantime the menu had changed so told we weren’t able to order the afternoon tea (which was the main reason we booked). We had snacks & cake but it was a bit bland & tasteless. As we were leaving, a couple sitting behind us were served an afternoon tea! Staff made excuses. Was overpriced and generally disappointing.

Amazing afternoon tea which we pre-booked. Everything tasted delicious and was very nicely presented. Absolutely love the quirky decor inside. We'll definitely be going back

The staff were very nice friendly but unfortunately I can’t say the same for the food, I ordered the fish finger sandwich & the bread was so dry

The food was nice and good quality plenty of tea to drink - I trent on a voucher but won't go again. The decor is not to my liking or the open space and when I went it was so uncomfortably hot inside with the large glass window and blinding sun as we sat trying to chat.

I was very disappointed it was for my birthday and we had to wait ages to be served and over 20 mins waiting for our drinks just very slow service it wasn’t that busy either ! Then we eventually ordered and waited forever again I was very upset as was looking forward to a nice meal out with friends

We went for afternoon tea with prosecco. Such good value for money. Everything was perfect. Nice sandwiches, sausages rolls and pork pie, scones and sweet treats. Can’t wait to go again.

Majorly disappointed. Booked a table for a meal for 5.45, turned up, sat down and the waitress said we had to hurry up and order our food asap as they wanted to close the kitchens. We quickly decided what we wanted and went up to the bar to order to be told that we can't order any food after 6. The managers were very unhelpful. Very very poor service to allow customers to book a table for dinner at 5.45 but not actually having the kitchens open, and not letting any customers that have booked know in advance. Will not be going back.

Beautiful Place for afternoon tea! Was a little too warm, but that's not their fault. Fabulous workers and great location ! Definitely recommend to friends and family.

Nice atmosphere and staff were friendly. We had afternoon tea which was generally good but could have given us a choice of cake rather than choosing for us

Food was beautiful but the service was so poor they asked if we wanted water but it never arrived, my friend ripped her jeans on a nail on table we had to keep asking for drinks then sugar then plates for afternoon tea then milk then the bill 3 times just ruins the whole experience and wanting to go again which is a real shame because the food is nice

From start to finish the service and staff were impeccable. The food was delicious and there was so much in the afternoon tea that we had to bring some cakes home as we could not finish them.

Good food in pleasant surroundings with 4 sort of sandwich, mini veg croissants, scones with jam & cream & selection of cakes, tea or coffee. The cocktail 🍹option offers at least 8 choices

As a fish eater there wasn’t any choice apart from fish and chips which I ordered and enjoyed, would have liked to have seen sea bass or salmon as a main meal choice. Dessert choice was very good.

Nice relaxed atmosphere. Really nice food (we had the afternoon tea menu), well presented, as much tea as we could eat. Helpful staff when my 80yo mother needed assistance. Only complaint was the music was too loud.

Great food, but scones and pain au chocolat slightly overdone and too crispy. Otherwise, good food and great selection of cakes. Good how school afternoon tea comes with different cakes so no one gets the same.

This restaurant is very nice and we were pleasantly surprised. The deco was certainly quirky, and teetered on the edge of being overwhelming, but the food was generous and delicious. We both had the cow and beer pie and the pie - though not large in size- was generously filled with plenty of steak and this ensured we left the restaurant fully replenished. The food was great value for money and the menu offers a wide range of food items to cater to all needs. Would certainly consider this place again.

First visit. Music very loud- don't go if you are after a chat over a meal. Go if you want lively atmosphere. Meal was ok but nothing to rave about. How can fries be tasteless? But reasonable prices for a night out.

Birthday afternoon tea for my mum. Music was turned up and was so loud we couldn’t talk. Sandwiches and scones were poor quality. Cakes all tasted the same. Slightly disappointed as our first visit was fantastic. Will not be returning.
