Lovely place, great food and staff make you feel so welcome Nice friendly atmosphere. Definitely recommend to friends and will visit again. Steak was amazing.

Great food and great drinks just could be slightly quicker with food service and clearing. But overall very good first visit will be back in the future

Visited the restaurant last night. Great experience, food was excellent, fantastic service and a good atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and look forward to returning again soon.

Had a lovely meal with my partner and 2 children. My daughter said the Macaroni was the best she had ever tasted! The food was to die for. The only criticism I would make would be with the acoustics in the room, which I know cannot really be helped! But it made having a conversation at our table very difficult. Overall though a fab experience and I will be visiting again.

Food was just ok, although I think I made the wrong choice of Main course, I should've gone for the steak or chicken! We went for the Market Menu, which was good value.

Best steak Iv had for a long time you could cut it with a spoon. Great atmosphere definitely will be back soon. 1860 cocktail is to die for , fantastic bar star really friendly.

Food was amazing. But the service was VERY slow. Took 40 mins for our starter to come out. Other than that, it was great first time.

We where expecting a really nice meal & atmosphere as the place looks stunning , but this was not so , place was busy, we got sat next to a table with very loud customers ,the service and food was very disappointing

First visit. Lovely food. Well refurbished. New staff trying hard and generally succeeding. Lack of apparent manager though. No one to thank us and see us off the premises.

The food was amazing, best steak I’ve ever had & the broccoli is simply out of this world. Service is 1st class & bar area is excellent as well. Already looking forward to my next visit

Food was amazing! We had the 3 course market menu and it was incredible value for money. The lamb was so so good 😍 will definetly be back!

Excellent first visit. Food was very well cooked and well presented - although for my wife the burger was more like a meal for two! Not surprisingly, steaks were fine cuts of meat and prepared as ordered. Price point is a bit higher than might be expected for a provincial steak house, but we still felt we had received good value after our visit. Decor and atmosphere are very in keeping with the menu, and the bar is much more accommodating as a destination in itself than was the case with previous restaurants based in the building. Certainly worth a visit - and a return!.

Best steak I’ve had in a while. Staff lovely and friendly despite our toddler running around crazy. Will definitely be back! Absolutely faultless except the cocktail
