Atmosphere, service, food, their own “Cut Lager’ .. quality, presentation & attention to detail, top marks all round.. Nothing to improve, just keep to current amazing standard!!!

Food was good and staff pleasant and helpful. Nice surroundings. Pleasant location. Good value for money and good sized portions. Market menu was varied and different.

Great food!!service was painfully slow and constantly waiting/prompting for drinks after ordering. 3 hours for 4 people....took longer than most tasting menus.....did enjoy the meal though

First visit to CUT. Visited for an impromptu dinner with my partner. We chose to eat from the a la carte menu (we just missed the cut of for the Market Menu which I would like to sample). We both chose the steak rump. We both like our steaks medium and this did not disappoint. Also excellent sides; mash and skinny fries. I also chose to add scallops (my partner added haggis) - both generous portions. We decided to them go for dessert. My partner chose a gorgeous carrot cake with rum vanilla icing. I chose the dark chocolate and vanilla cheesecake. Was slightly disappointed that it was basically a plain cheese cake with some dark chocolate sauce. Still nice but not what expected. We will definitely be back. Have also recommended to a few friends who live in Bothwell.

Food was absolutely delicious..... T Bone steaks were cooked to perfection and scrumptious! Wine and gin also fab! Gorgeous decor and service excellent...... Will definitely be back.

Food was nice,staff were nice,it's a big barn of a place though with not many people there,it was lunchtime,not much else to say to be honest,,

Lovely meal, and the staff where lovely too. Very pricey, but you pay for quailty I suppose, I would happily pay again after my visit.

Great food, great decor, service was ok .. will avoid a bank holiday next time! A good one for a fri or sat night! 🍹

Starter terrible frozen egg in the scotch egg didn’t get charged for the starter though service slow thought it would have been more up market

Excellent food place is beautifully decorated great service. Ordered the steak frites when this came I was not excepting to get such a good cut of meat. Market menu great for the price

Great food and great drinks just could be slightly quicker with food service and clearing. But overall very good first visit will be back in the future

Visited the restaurant last night. Great experience, food was excellent, fantastic service and a good atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and look forward to returning again soon.

Had a lovely meal with my partner and 2 children. My daughter said the Macaroni was the best she had ever tasted! The food was to die for. The only criticism I would make would be with the acoustics in the room, which I know cannot really be helped! But it made having a conversation at our table very difficult. Overall though a fab experience and I will be visiting again.

Food was just ok, although I think I made the wrong choice of Main course, I should've gone for the steak or chicken! We went for the Market Menu, which was good value.

Best steak Iv had for a long time you could cut it with a spoon. Great atmosphere definitely will be back soon. 1860 cocktail is to die for , fantastic bar star really friendly.

Food was amazing. But the service was VERY slow. Took 40 mins for our starter to come out. Other than that, it was great first time.

Excellent food and nice new restaurant. Will Definitely will be back as the quality was great but could have a wider selection of dishes if someone did not want steak.

We where expecting a really nice meal & atmosphere as the place looks stunning , but this was not so , place was busy, we got sat next to a table with very loud customers ,the service and food was very disappointing

Fabulous food steak was cooked to perfectio, great service, large selection of drinks, I would definitely recommend to family and friends and I'll definitely be returning.

First visit. Lovely food. Well refurbished. New staff trying hard and generally succeeding. Lack of apparent manager though. No one to thank us and see us off the premises.

Excellent first visit. Food was very well cooked and well presented - although for my wife the burger was more like a meal for two! Not surprisingly, steaks were fine cuts of meat and prepared as ordered. Price point is a bit higher than might be expected for a provincial steak house, but we still felt we had received good value after our visit. Decor and atmosphere are very in keeping with the menu, and the bar is much more accommodating as a destination in itself than was the case with previous restaurants based in the building. Certainly worth a visit - and a return!.

Best steak I’ve had in a while. Staff lovely and friendly despite our toddler running around crazy. Will definitely be back! Absolutely faultless except the cocktail
