Excellent lunch at midday on a Saturday. All staff attentive throughout, however given time to get on with the delicious food and wine. Great value for money.

It was all a bit amateur. We arrived and there was uncertainty about the location of our table - upstairs or down. We were given barely a minute to read the menu before we were asked if we had chosen. The crab with the crab and prawn starter was off and we were not offered an alternative and were charged for the starter. The bread had to be asked for and a waitress tipped a glass of wine across the table ! All in all it was quite an expensive comedy of errors

Quality of food excellent, but vegetables should be included & the portions of vegetables received for the price (£5) was stingy given that they were inexpensive & simply cooked I could easily have eaten all of the veg myself

Could do with the heating on at lunchtime it was rather cold considering it was a very cold day outside.

Been several times to David’s Restaurant Never been disappointed. The food was of good quality and very tasty. Very good value for money. The staff were very attentive even though they had a busy service. The atmosphere and decor make it a pleasing place for a lovely meal.
