George's Dining Room and Bar

We had a lovely evening. My meal was very good. My wife complained that her chicken was dry. We were more than happy when our bill was reduced accordingly.

This was my first visit to George's following a friends recommendation. Staff were very polite and helpful right from arrival and through out the meal. Our party included people with food intolerances and this was dealt with sensitively, with no fuss ( this has not always the case in some high end establishments even) so this was much appreciated, thank you. It was a busy night, so we accepted what was a longer than expected delay between the starter and main courses arriving, hence the 5 rating. I would recommend George's to others and intend to try the lunch menu soon.

Both the staff and the food were amazing, couldn't fault either and would highly recommend visiting. On a Friday and Sunday they have live music.

Excellent service and food , get place to spend some time , fantastic atmosphere . If you want a full meal or just a beer this is ideal

Lovely setting, great atmosphere on a Friday night and the food was gorgeous too! There is a great wine list and cocktails, love it here!

Excellent service from staff; menu a little limited but the old favourite, ribeye, was excellent and cooked to perfection. Very lively atmosphere and quite noisy at times but good fun.

A little gem in Worsley, Very good and attentive service.. the 3 course set menu is very reasonable price, the food are very tasty. The atmosphere is good.

Excellent. Only small criticism is it was very cold where we were sat. Our server brought a heater to us, which was very thoughtful of him.

Visited George's for lunch and ordered off the set lunch menu. THere were a choice of 3 mains, starters and desserts. A good selection of each. Portions were big and definitely gave value for money. We'all be returning for lunch again soon!

Excellent service from very friendly staff coupled with very well-prepared and very well-presented food. The set menu is particularly good value for such a high standard of food and presentation.

Great service and food . Lovely place too . We went for Christmas Day and had a wonderful time . They didn't rush us out either .

Brilliant atmosphere. Staff really attentive. Food was great. Would definitely recommend. Took our 2 year old son in for brunch and he loved it too. Staff were brillliant with him.

Service was really poor. Almost ran out of food, so didn't have much choice! Added drinks onto our bill than we didn't order then questioned me when I said we didn't have them. Really bad service.

Food was lovely staff very polite restaurant very nice inside. There was a lot of food on the menu they had ran out of but other than that very good.

All three of us enjoyed our meals and the service was excellent. I would definately go there again and probably before next Christmas comes around

Lovely place nice food but drink service was very slow. From arriving it took 38 mins to get a drink which is ridiculous. The place wasn't busy either.

Good food at a nice price. Good looking girls ho are smiling and helpful. Quick service only 15 min to get the plates. Would like to visit next time l'm in Manchester. Hope to meet the owner den :)

Enjoyed the experience nice atmosphere, one or two mistakes made by the staff but not serious and all done with a nice smile and a joke, Would recommend it to friends and family

The service was pacey, pleasant and effective and we were well looked after. The Christmas dinner was spot on but charging £90 for two children's meals was a bit of a shock.

We found that the atmosphere, service and food were excellent. There was a live singer on in the bar after which made our evening perfect.

Fantastic Food & Service for 12 Family and Friends, the atmosphere was brilliant on New Years Eve we will be booking again for next year and also throughout this year for all our upcoming celebrations. We would highly recommend Georges in Worsley

New Year's Eve atmosphere was really good but food was below average. £65 a head for food that took 11/2 hours to arrive I feel was not really acceptable

We really enjoyed our celebratory meal with family on Good Friday. The staff were lovely really helpful and friendly. The starter and the main meals were delicious, but the desserts weren't special and a bit disappointing. Overall that's why I'm giving you 5 not 6 on this visit. Thanks for everything

Visited George's for breakfast with my husband and one year old daughter. Food was amazing, service was great. Staff were al accommodating with my daughter and brought her an order of sides. Excellent place for breaki!

We went to George's for my 60th birthday. The food and service were fantastic..we enjoyed a catch up in a great atmosphere Jen was attentivevwithout being intrusive. Looking forward to our next visit.

What a nightmare!! had to wait for a long time between courses.The service was not great. The noise was overbearing as people were screaming across the restaurant and the management did nothing to control the guests. A lot of people were disgusted at the level of noise and it did spoil others diners night. We ordered a roast diner but they forgot the Yorkshire pudding and we had to wait while they fetched them, then we had to wait for the extra gravy. The wine need to be reviewed as it was not good.

A lovely evening at George's worsley, service was brilliant, so friendly and helpful, food as gorgeous as ever and company fabulous! The sea bass was the best I've ever tasted xx

Fabulous family Christmas Lunch at Georges today(10/12/16). The food was delicious, well cooked, hot and beautifully presented. The service was 1st class and the price was very very reasonable. Thank you everyone for your kind attention.

Nice place, food was okay nothing special the bar area is a bit on the small side with a lack of seating and every time the door opened there was swirl of cold air.

Went for a meal with ten Ladies. Food was good although two of Ladies complained their meals were cold. Service was slow but it's Christmas !

We went for my wife's birthday and had a lovely afternoon tea with a complimentary free cocktail .initally we were seated downstairs but found it a little noisy and asked for a quieter area, moved upstairs to a lovely table. The staff are all very helpful and would recommend a visit anytime thinking of booking for an evening meal with friends
