Lovely food and great service - birthday boy was even given a free cocktail ! It was a great birthday meal - we've been before and will go again!

Lovely place and atmosphere, friendly staff but disappointed with the menu. Went at lunch time - perhaps need to have more lighter options available at this time.

Lovely food, however the market fish dish was tiny. Recommend customers getting this with another course. Or for George's to add some seasonal vegetables to make it more filling (rather than just spinach). Service wise, slightly inexperienced staff on Sunday created some slightly awkward interactions. Very slow to offer us a drink, had to call a member of staff over. Lovely ambiance, and lovely quality food.

Nice staff and nice surroundings but food not very good at all. Below average quality. I have definitely eaten better food in many pubs. Won't be visiting Georges again

We dont do starters as we are a main and dessert couple, so went straight to mains first. Excellent food and well presented on the plate. All food was cooked to order so dont expect to be eating within 15mins. The staff polite and professional. Overall an excellent experience.

A very relaxed and pleasant afternoon with really good food as well. I was pleasantly surprised at the high quality fare being offered for lunch.

Excellent value and service as always. The range of dishes on the menu continues to be excellent. Stronlgly recommend that you visit Georges in Worsley.

We were a returning group. There was so much we liked on the menu it was difficult to choose ... will need to go back and try the rest! Service was exceptional, we never felt rushed but neither was there too long a wait between servings. All the food came hot and was exceptional. Good portions, plenty to eat on the side. Ambience was quite appropriate for an evening meal. But do I need to say anything other than ... a truly exceptional experience. Our favourite restaurant.

Lovely food as always, amazing value for money with the set menu - just forgot a few items we ordered which was a shame and requested a table outside but didn't get one.

Staff were very attentive, cocktails were good value and food was good, chosen off the early evening menu. The main course fish was a very light meal and would have been enhanced by some potato such as dauphinoise.

Had Saturday lunch with my parents. We all had an excellent 3 course meal. The restaurant itself has tasteful decor and even if it was an early Saturday afternoon was quite busy. Would recommend.

I went with 2 friends this evening to celebrate my friends birthday. We really enjoyed our evening. Lovely food, excellent service and ambience. Would definitely recommend.

Good service, food ok and great atmosphere. Good alternative to trudging into Manchester. Would use again but they need to step up given the prospect of more competition just down the road.

Lovely food, service and atmosphere. Everything was a very high standard and staff super helpful. I would recommend the lunch menu - smallish portions I thought. At least you come away not feeling too full ... or guilty!

Excellent service and food was top class on a busy evening in the restuarant. Would not hesitate to recommend this restuarant have been several times and never fails to delight.

Good except for the roast potatoes, which hadn't been roasted basically! Oh and they had run out of strawberry Millefeux, no strawberries at the start of the season!

Attended for Sunday lunch . Had to send the beef back as it was inedible. The rest of the food was nice and staff are very helpful

We had two dreadful roast lamb dinners, which were all gristle and fat . The management were kind enough to deduct these items from the bill . However the two diners were left hungry having saved themselves all day . The other problem was it was very cold even though another table of diners asked the staff to switch off the cold air con which was directly above them . One member of staff told me they were cold. This spoiled the visit and the dining experience .

Great, quirky place. Excellent food and fantastic cocktails. Not cheap, but worth it as an occasional one off. The restaurant is secluded from the bar area, which almost makes it feel like two premises. The bar was exceptionally busy when we went (in the evening on Good Friday). There was a live singer on but we couldn't hear him in the restaurant. Service was efficient and pleasant. All in all, a good night on Good Friday.

The venue is getting a bit run down unfortunately. Not a very refined dining experience for the price. Food was well presented but that's was about it.

There were five of us having brunch and one meal was warm and another was cold and had to be sent back. The service was better than previous visits. The food was of a good standard eventually.

Quality of Food and drink was very good. Training waiters and waitresses much needed. No fineness. When pouring wine, no offer to taste just heavily poured too much in glass had to ask to stop pouring. Sat at round table- Really didn't like white wicker chairs. Some broken not a great look. Had to push was out through bar after meal. Overall good experience but don't think I would bring friends for a special night out again.

Lovely food very different. Very varied menu excellent service with very friendly staff very attentive but not intrusive . My daughter took me for my birthday and it was lovely. Would highly recommend George's as it was a lovely evening. Thank you .

Service was great and the staff were lovely. We went for afternoon tea which was delicious, we will defiantly eat there again in the future

Very disappointed. My parents wanted to take me out for my 40th. First of all I asked for my young daughters main to come with the starters, didn't happen. Then they missed one of the main meals off the order. Not child friendly no crayons or anything for them. Desserts mixed up too. Asked for strawberry and cream and got something totally different. Won't be going back or recommending.

Planned for a nice relaxing evening which we have always enjoyed on previous visits. Unfortunately on this occasion, the downfall was we had to share the restaurant with 8 uncouth individuals. Their language and volume control had no limits. What should have been a enjoyable evening resulted in us choosing to vacate before dessert and coffee. We decided to leave due to the lack of intervention by the staff. This was a disappointing end to the evening. Maybe we were unlucky tonight.

I had visited George's previously and loved it. Unfortunately this visit didn't live up to that experience. I had previously sat upstairs and loved the decor and atmosphere. We were seated downstairs, the room was over lit, making it feel a bit stark and there was little atmosphere. Our main courses were beautiful - 8/10 but the desserts were really poor 1/10. This was really disappointing. I'm not sure I would visit again

I had a fillet steal and asked for green salad. I was given mixed treen veg. My steak was tasteless and chewy in part, Very disappointing, My wife had Haddock which was fine.

Lovely restaurant. Delicious food. Staff amazing, very friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back. Recommend the steak and peppercorn sauce with a glass of Pinot

Lovely atmosphere , amazing service, food was beautiful. The chateaubriand was the best I've had in all the world A perfect evening in a perfect setting with the perfect date.

Excellence- food great - service great and they were able to accommodate the fact I had a leg injury and I was unable to bend my knee . Very impressed

Me and my partner go here regularly and I have also taken several friends to this resturant, we love the food and atmosphere and staff always really helpful and friendly. The is separate bar area that has live singers and the atmosphere always looks nice and busy when you walk through to go to the WC's

Bacon chop was very salty but the bream and the tortellini was nice. Waitress was friendly and polite. Good overall and i would go again

We visited George's for Mother's Day. I expected it to be quite busy but was surprised when we arrived, it wasn't over full or noisy which was nice. The restaurant had a set 3 course menu, the starters were lovely! The main wasn't as nice as the usual Sunday lunches, the lamb was quite fatty (which I know can happen) and the roast potatoes were quite dry and had little colour, it was like they had been pre cooked. The desserts were lovely although they took a while to arrive and the daffodils for the ladies was a nice touch too. I'm not sure id return for Mother's Day/Father's Day again

Excellent meal and the staff second to none. We were celebrating a family birthday and given a free cocktail for the 'birthday boy!' Will be returning soon.

Lovely staff and cant help you enough, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was chilled and relaxed and to be honest i could of stayed there all night, definitely will be going back soon .. makes you want live in the area.. was really lovely
