George's Dining Room and Bar

Good food with friendly service. Visited on a Thursday evening with friends. Our food was hot and tasty accompanied by attentive efficient service by the staff. All in all a pleasant evening. Memo to management...please put seat covers on the whicker chairs in the dining room and get rid of the wall mirrors at the far end of the restaurant.

6 of us Went for breakfast 5 had the Georges traditional. 1 had the vegeterian all Excellent quality and very well presented. Variety Superb and No problem swopping eg No Black pud but extra mushrooms. Staff very professional, the restaurant was very clean and tidy And felt luxurious. Only criticism Is the chairs could be better. WILL DEFINATELY RECCOMEND THE BREAKFAST AND THE RESTAURANT

We had a very nice meal lovely place great atmosphere . Only thing i can say negative is the bar area was very full and we had to wait 20 mins packed in like sardines waiting for our table. We did arrive 20 mins early

The service & the food was excellent staff very friendly. First time eating there, we will definitely be eating again at George's very soon! 10/10.....

Wonderful family meal. There were nine of us, and we were rather loud, we had a lovely private area to sit in, brilliant patient! service and great food, it was a huge success. And the Baked Alaska was amazing :-)

It's my first visit to George's but found it most enjoyable. The service and staff were impeccable. Our waitress, Felicity made it an enjoyable experience. The food was excellent. I would definately come again and recommend it.

Excellent meal, service really good and lovely friendly service. Environment was good and parking was easy as well. Only one minor drawback the boss wasn't in (Giggsy)!

Fantastic - staff are really welcoming and helpful - foods great too! Car parking always proves a challenge but managed a space at the back - happy days!!

Lovely food and atmosphere. However one of the toilets was missing a door frame so couldn't lock the door! Also waited a while for the mains. They did bring us a smaller taster and water for the table which is always nice!

No one around when I arrived, so sat and waited to be attended to, but in the end went to find a member of staff. Turkey dinner with 'all the trimmings' disappointing. Only veg was sprouts and very little gravy. I think the roast potatoes were precooked or even frozen?!

Great service, good food and lovely atmosphere. I booked for brunch today with a friend but I hope to return soon for dinner with family.

Sunday morning breakfast was excellent. Good staff and prompt service all added up to an enjoyable experience would recommend to others. We will be back.

Lovely interior and friendly staff. The food was lovely. The only comment I have is that the olives didn't taste of good quality. We had fillet steak which was cooked perfectly.

The 4 of us ate of the daily menu and all were very enjoyable awe have been here many times for a meal and we have never been disappointed

Really let down by the food. Waited over an hour for a burnt overpriced steak. Won't be eating here again. Sent food back for it to be returned again over cooked. French fries also over cooked. My partner had finished his meal by the time I received my meal.

The food was well presented and very enjoyable. However, a party of 18 men was so noisy that it spoiled the evening for us somewhat.

Good cocktails, good food. Steak a little chewy, but overall quite happy. Had to wait a little while for my glass of wine with the meal . Free cocktail cos it was my birthday was a very nice touch.

We went on a Sunday morning for breakfast for my wife's birthday. Excellent food, although would prefer traditional toast. Excellent service. Will defiantly return in the very near future.

Menu choice was excellent plus he quality and quantity of the food was better than expected. Waitress service was again excellent with a very friendly/smiling young lady. Parking could be better and not the place to go for a quite , romantic meal.
