Disappointing service tried to reorder drinks 4 times before someone took notice. And then had a cheek to request 12.5% service charge that was added to the card payment even though was an optional think, if they demand a service that high the should up there see levels

Went out of their way to ensure my needs were met regarding table location and food. Servers were polite friendly prompt and accommodation.

The restaurant is not well maintained, the glasses were not really clean and the food felt like fast food and low level. On the other hand the service was good!

The vanilla ice cream was not good, it was practically ice and I couldn't eat it

I said it was a birthday, no mention of this when we had our meal. We were given a table way too small for our needs (2 very tall guys), total of five. It was uncomfortable and cramped. Not enough cutlery on the table, and the Mac and cheese I had tasted plasticky, with chopped spring onions on the top that had been chopped at least several days ago. Disappointing, got the bill quickly and left.

Giraffe used to be reasonable quality - but what we were served was nothing more than ‘slop’. My children had pasta that looked like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for an hour and given that it appeared in less than 5 minutes I’m assuming it had. A miserable meal and we won’t be back. Looks like a business trying to cut costs which will struggle to compete with better offers elsewhere like Bill’s.

Don't waste your money. We were serve food that was reheated on the microwave and food that other costumer doesn't like (that's according to the manager after we complained)

I visited with my two son's (one adult and one 7 year old) on Wednesday. Lovely venue, by the river Thames. Staff were helpful and friendly. Prices very reasonable, with a good selection of options on the menu. Great kids menu too. We had a lovely time.

Service is not what it used to be…or the food. Shame. We used to love coming here with the children. A smile. A “how are you?” A “enjoy your food”. All would have made a bit of a difference.

Food was nice. Was asked for our order moments after sitting down before getting to read through it, but then waited for 20 minutes for someone to come back to us but we had ordered via the website menu by this point. Good atmosphere and decent value for money!

Think you getting to big and the service and food is dipping below par. I paid over £100 for a base meal and don’t think I will do it again. Definitely not worth it

Front of house Alexander efficient charming and found us a table outside. Perfect ambassador for Giraffe. Good salad and glass of wine for £3 which was a welcome surprise. We will be returning!

We booked in advance so that meant we could walk straight in and start the meal experience. Therefore I would recommend the Quandoo app for this as we were also able to easily edit the arrival times throughout the course of the day.
