What a disappointment. Haven’t been here for a few years and it’s gone downhill so much. Service was poor. Even the at table tablet didn’t help as calling the waiter from it made no difference. However by prepaying from the table I paid a service charge which I wouldn’t have chosen to do after the experience. Looked at our drinks sitting on the bar for 10 minutes so got up and took them ourselves. The fish and chips were good but Korean chicken and tenders both way way too sweet and tenders couldn’t be eaten. Macaroni chorizo must have been chorizo dust as we had to ask for some visible chorizo. I was quite embarrassed to have told my visitors it was a good place to eat.

Waiter forgot to offer coffee until he brought the bill, not a real problem, we were deep in conversation anyway! Disappointed there was no chicken or halloumi available for the Caesar salad, or tartare sauce for the fish and chips. That said, all first world problems so, yes we’d come again.

We arrived earlier than we'd booked for with an extra person and they still found us a table straight away. Despite it being busy the staff were very friendly and helpful, plus the food was as delicious as always.

First time to Giraffe and absolutely loved it ! Great cocktails and the food was lovely- best fish and chips we've had for a long time!! Staff were friendly and really efficient with excellent service!!! Great value 👏

We would have liked all the food (we only had one course) to come at the same time.

We had a table booked for 12:30 on a Saturday which is a very busy time to eat on the Southbank. We took our seat and it wasn't until that point that we were told that the grill was broken. As a result only 1/3 of the menu was on offer. One of my daughters has allergies and so there were only 2 things she could have. The staff were apologetic but overall the experience was poor due to the very restricted choice. Eating out as a family of 4 is a treat for us and so eating something that wouldn't have been even our 3 or 4th choices off the menu felt like a massive waste of money. At the very least we should have been called before we arrived. Telling us when we sat down is not acceptable because by that time we were committed as you cannot take hungry children out of a restaurant, and there would have been no chance of finding an alternative. I also think that there should have been a significant discount on the bill given nobody ate what they really wanted, especially my daughter. I look forward to receiving your response.

We enjoyed our food and all was great however we felt very rushed. Plates taken away whilst one of us was still eating and another plate taken whilst my friend was chewing their food. Constant checks from service staff but to the point that it was always interrupting our conversation.

We know it was busy but the children’s pizza was absolutely revolting and the portion size was tiny. The chips I had to order to boost their meal were cold. I had the hanging chicken and the Greek salad was greasy and there were maybe 3 crumbs of feta. Very disappointing considering it cost £35.

Requested a quieter table due to having an autistic child & when we arrived I was able to view the table first to check it was suitable. Little things like this go a very long way for parents of neurodiverse children and are very much appreciated. Thank you.

There was a problem with the kitchen which meant that only half the menu was available. Whilst these things happen we weren’t told until we’d sat at the table. We were a large group and have a range of dietary needs, which is why we’d chosen this restaurant. It would have been good to know before we sat down so that we could have considered options. That said everything else was fine and the staff looked after us really well which isn’t easy with a big group. We also really appreciated the valentines activity for the children.

We were provided with a table and drinks ordered. When we ordered food we were told most things were unavailable due to a gas issue. This was after our order was taken. Why didn’t they tell us when we arrived. Also the restaurant was cold.

Food would have been better if it was hot when served, chips were just warm, probably had been delayed being brought to table. This had occured on a previous occasion and we will probably dine elsewhere on our next visit.

Honestly was shocked at the quality of the kids pizza seeee, it was clearly frozen and heated up but wouldn’t be one I would serve at home. It looks disgusting. Generally very poor food .

Food was disappointing this time. Batter on fish and chips very soggy and Korean BBQ was very tasty but hardly any chicken. Service was very good though.

Appreciate it is a family friendly restaurant but we were a group of 5 adults and were given a table in the corner right next to the bar and next to a table with 2 very small babies. It was a bit like being in a creche. The restaurant was half empty.

Mid food, gave me regular Coke when I asked for diet and then tried to tell me it was diet although there was a clear difference when they replaced it. Thai duck noodles were chewy and way too sweet and the chicken tenders were so bland. Will not be coming back.

Main problem was it was freezing cold because the door kept being left open

Staff very efficient. Served quickly, thoughtfully reserved space so that we could be sat with buggy for newborn. Food was good and range of choices.

Everything was excellent , my complaint was , we were right by double doors ,which members of staff had to keep going through & this was one of the coldest days of the year,therefore we did not liner to have a desert.
