I always tip for good service but hate being told how much I need to pay.This is the only reason where I might choose to go elsewhere if I had to stick to a strict budget.

We were staying in Camden for my Husband's birthday celebrations, and chose this restaurant for a nice meal. The food and service were excellent BUT a table of 7 extremely loud women ruined the atmosphere and our experience. It was so loud we sat with our fingers in our ears, we couldn't have a conversation, one couple moved to a table outside the restaurant because they couldn't stand it either. In the end, due to the restaurant staff not saying anything to the table of 7, we cut our meal short, paid the bill and left. I did explain to the waitress that we couldn't stand the noise any longer and she acknowledged that they were finding it too loud also. So we just had a starter and main course, which wasn't what we had planned, and it spoilt our evening.

Very nice restaurant. It's the second time we eat there. The staff is very friendly. The starters we had were very good. We had a pizza and the sea bass as main course. It was perfect. Tasty and good portions. Only the negroni cocktail was really too small. We would certainly go back to Il Sugo.

First time there, the staff (owners?) were very attentive and the food was great. They accept the tast card on a weekend which is another way that they are customer friendly.

Went to this restaurant for the first time and the food was excellent. Tried the specials and the quality was good and portions very large.

Absolutely brilliant service, friendly staff and went above and beyond to accommodate for my vegan meal:) only issue was the card machine not working, so had to pay in cash, however aware this is not a fault due to staff.

We have been served asteful food from a classical menu. The restaurant offers a warm atmosphere and the staff is lovely . We had a great X-mas evening dinner.
