Loved it. The ambience was great. Staff were very attentive and nice; so much so that I tipped which I never do. All round great experience.

Amazing food and great customer service I loved it I would recommend it and for sure come back for more delicious Italian food, great! 😍

Service was prompt and the food was good - especially the sausage gnocchi but lack of atomosphere in the restaurant on a Friday evening, prices were also reasonable

The food and the experience of the restaurant overall were good. However, one of the waiters, an elder man who was not our main waiter, seemed a bit agitated and keen to take our food await and seemed to be over watching our table.

Food was lovely, really very authentic Italian restaurant. Service was very quick and waiters were all pleasant. Had a nice atmosphere and was relatively inexpensive. Will be visiting again

If possible, its best to reserve a table in advance, great food and atmosphere, the manager is friendly and looks after your needs. Definitely recommend Il Sugo.

The atmosphere was great and the service was also exquisite. The food was delicious and all of us enjoyed our time there. They were also a great help with the birthday surprise and even had the generosity to serve us with limoncello.

Super endroit, les serveurs étaient très agréable, on y mange très bien, il faut quand même réserver a l'avance si vous souhaiter manger les délicieuses pizzas ;-)

The service was good (in fact we had to ask waiter to not come and fill up our glasses as we would do it when we were ready). I had a pizza and somehow the cheese tasted really sweet. I am not sure if there was too much of it or whether it was a very sweet mozzarella or both. My friend had a 50% off food stamp card but it only gave 50% of mains, not starters or desserts or other things like additional toppings to pizza

Delicious food and good prices. Service was engaging and friendly. Choice of music is a bit weird for the restaurant. Overall a good neighborly restaurant.

They made a really nice table of 20 for us. Great food, friendly service, everybody happy. House wine was nice. Genuinely delighted with the evening. And all for a reasonable price.

The quality of food was very good, service was very nice and helpful. There is a cosy atmosphere. There are a few tables outdoor, allthough the traffic of the adjoining street is sometimes a bit challenging.

Our host Marcello was very attentive to our needs. The menu offered many excellent choices. The food was delicious. All in all an excellent experience. We would not hesitate to go back again.

What happened to this place? Visited il sugo in June and was totally amazed from the fiod, service and little prices. Now it is the total opposite. Pizza was dry, without any taste and sparely covered with rocket and ham. The service was friendly but forgot our salad, which was of coure on the Bill. This can happen but i really ecpected sth more than "oh okay.." a sorry would have been appropriate! I wouldnt reccomend this place anymore, we were totally disappointed.

Excellent excellent restaurant, great service and even better food! Everyone did not have a bad word to say and I went with 13 people, would easily come here again any time!

We were really well looked after as a family booking for Sunday lunchtime with a 21 month old. It was my Mum's birthday and she had a good time, everyone enjoyed their food which we thought was well prepared and good value. Would be good if a baby change fold down was added to the toilet area as this was lacking.

worst food in the whole of London. everything is covered in tasteless tomato sauce - no imagination whatsoever. the ingredients do not feel very fresh.

Great for a group on a Friday night. Pizza and beer offer was great, and the food in general was good apart from the cheesy garlic bread: garlic bread was a bit doughy rather than crunchy. Definitely recommend as a pre-comedy night spot before heading to the Camden Head or another nearby place.

Fresh home cooked food, served with a smile. Handy for the Hamsptead Comedy Club that is next door in the Camden Head Pub, good value, excellent sized portions.

We were eating early before moving on so to start with we were the only 2 people there. The staff are very friendly and the food is very good. We had the fried calamari and garlic cheese bread for starters followed by seafood risotto and chicken in mushroom & white wine sauce. Very yummy! The desserts are home made, I had tiramisu and my wife had mango and vanilla ice cream. This is our second visit and would certainly go again

Went with a few people from work. The food came out fairly quickly and friendly staff, the food was delicious and the wine tasted amazing.

Very friendly staff, made the hen party night we booked extra special, great service, easy to book with no preordering of menus needed & free shots for the table at the end of the meal, food was lovely as well with lots of choice. Would definitely come back here for another night out.

The ambience, food and service were all first class and we would definitely go there again. We had tapas - garlic prawns, mushrooms and squid to start followed by exquisite home-made pasta. Delicious. Staff were wonderfully polite and attentive.

Good value but don't expect anything too fancy. I had pizza, was a bit dry. Garlic bread portion was small. Partners spag Bol looked a bit reheated. But we ate it all and wine was good value.

Quite a small restaurant, decor's a little basic and the menu a bit limited, but it has a great atmosphere with really helpful and friendly staff and good food.

Based upon the other reviews of the restaurant, I had higher expectations than what we actually experienced. The pricing is good but the food was average. I asked for prawns to be added to my penne and when the dish arrived, the prawns had their heads and shell still on. I understand about leaving the heads on but when prawns are covered in a sauce, it makes it very messy to remove the shells. My husband had the carbonara and he said it was lacking in flavour. So, it's a good place for an average meal at a good price but not a place to go for a special night out.
