Very friendly staff , made welcome .Excellent value with a Tastecard. Easy to use and good choice of dishes . Will visit again in the future.

Great Italian restaurant with superb pizzas, very tasty, and some unusual desserts, we had the chocolate cake with creme caramel top - gorgeous! Staff very friendly and helpful too.

Excellent food, great service. Lovely people, really enjoyed the experience, only problem is it's a bit cramped even with the outdoor seating.

We visited Il Sugo very early evening and so it was very quiet. The staff we met were very welcoming and friendly. We didn't have the tapas but decided to go for main meal and dessert. I had a sirloin steak and my wife had sea bass in lemon sauce, both served with sautéed potatoes, peas, green beans, carrots and sugar snap peas. A bottle of their basic wine accompanied, which was very pleasant indeed. We both enjoyed it all very much! My wife has the tiramisu, which was not one of the best she's ever had - quite a dry one - I had the lemon and mango sorbet with prosecco which was lovely and refreshing. All in all a good meal.

Quite good, enjoyable atmosphere, friendly staff. I had a craving for bolognese so I ordered the spaghetti - it was quite tasty, the portion was huge. Not the best Italian I've ever had, but I'd recommend it to anyone in Camden for the day and in need of some food. I'd definitely go back.

I was greeted by smiling staff who offered me a choice of table. We chose to sit outside as it was such a hot day. We could tell that this was a genuine Italian restaurant straightaway as the staff spoke Italian. The food was tasty, service was prompt and the whole experience delightful. I had the Gnocchi con Gorgonzola and my friend the Seafood Platter and we were both impressed. My dessert was ice cream with prosecco poured over it (at the table)......delicious! We will return

Nice, family vibe. Good service, even better value. If you are after simple, authentic fare at reasonable prices, you could do a lot worse than Il Sugo.

Nice service and good food but the restaurant is too loud and you can't use your tastecard on salads, antipasti and drinks

Stunning food and atmosphere. Would really recommend the squid in sauce which has an incredible taste. Other menus we had included a wonderful mushroom risotto which had the great addition of onion. My wife had the seafood pasta which was rammed with squid, large prawns and mussels. Every menu we had was marvellous and if you want to book end the meal try the tiramisu !

A small Italian restaurant off Camden High Street. Took granny for her 86th birthday dinner. Excellent food and wine, friendly efficient waiters and very good value for money. Would definitely return and highly recommend it to friends, family and colleagues. A short walk from Mornington Crescent or Camden Town underground stations.

Probably the best thing about Il Sugo is the price - it's very reasonable (especially with the Taste Card, although that doesn't apply to the tapas menu). The food was decent, without being outstanding, but I guess you get what you pay for. Service was excellent, however. Highly recommended for a cheap, no frills meal.

Service was fab for a mid afternoon lunch, food was spectacular and with the Taste Card was almost criminal. The Bolognese was as good as I have had in Italy and will certainly be returning.

Stunning ethnic Italian food in a wonderful bohemian location and very friendly staff. Definitely try the squid in chili sauce starter! Did try both the weekend menu and the week day menu and the standard never dropped

Unfortunately I couldn't make it due to unwell children but staff was great about the situation so thank you and I will definitely book again

The atmosphere is warm, relaxed and welcoming. I had pizza- really, really tasty, with a very thin, crisp base. We had a lovely evening on the whole!

Fantastic restaurant, incredible value considering the food was delicious, the staff were very friendly and the service was speedy. Our party was large but they were very accommodating.

Had a great Dinner here. The pizza and the Linguine with seafood were delicious. We loved it there and we recommend it to everyone to have great time there.
