The Mountain Restaurant

Atmospheric decor, friendly service and delicious food - but we did have to wait three quarters of an hour for it to arrive, even though we arrived early (11.45).

We had a good time. Food was excellent and the staff friendly. Service was ok but could have been a bit quicker. We will be going back again.

Lovely food, friendly staff. The cauliflower cheese was the best I've ever had. The cakes were awesome! Took a while to pay the bill as the queue was so long.

Lovely little restaurant. Wide varierty of food on the menu to choose from. Staff were friendly and were quick with their service. Would visit again, they do a lovely looking afternoon tea!!

For the first time we had a long wait for our order to be taken and for the food to arrive. Normally very quick but the food as always was lovely.

Busy as always but great food and atmosphere - not your usual garden centre restaurant, try visiting in the winter to appreciate the full alpine experience.

Interesting and unusual atmosphere and decor. Very enjoyable meal, freshly cooked. Service good, not hurried. Had a slight problem with the bill, but it was amended without a problem. Friends said it was one of the best Sunday Lunches they had eaten out for a long time. Intend to return in the future.

Can quite understand why not having an egg can only be replaced by mushrooms, tomatoes or beans? An egg is a young chicken not a vegatable...

Never fails as a lunch destination. Staff are friendly, food is fresh and tasty and the room is warm and inviting. Garden is lovely too in the summer!

Fabulous food in a lovely relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff. I had a delicious homemade burger with fabulous coleslaw and garnish with skinny chips. All beautifully cooked and presented
