Jackson and Rye - Richmond

Delicious food, good service. We went at 12:30 on a Saturday for brunch, definitely need to book very busy. Lots of families there. Our drinks took a while. Great value.

We thought it was a lovely restaurant, great position, good service, friendly staff but the food was very average. I had ribs and they were very very salty and very dry. I also had some chicken wings and they were the same!! Its a pity because the rest of it was very good.

A great place to go. Overlooking the river whilst eating brunch its picturesque. The Smoked Pulled Pork Hash is my favourite thing to have there.

Our food was a bit late, but the staff were so lovely - atmosphere also was really great! Will definitely be back, thanks very much guys.

The food was very tasty, I had the buttermilk chicken with sweet potato fries and slaw. The atmosphere was lovely and the service was great!

Outside was a little bit cramped but the food was reasonably priced, omelette was a tiny bit bland, and there was a nice atmosphere! Would definitely go again!

We had booked a table for 2. When we arrived 15mins early we were given a table that had been squeezed next to the bar where all the staff had to squeeze past with empty glasses. Ordered brunch, pancakes and heuvos rancheros. After waiting for an hour and ordering 2 los of drinks to keep us going the waiter said their had been a problem and our order was forgotten. When it did arrive another 25mins later the pancakes were good and fresh but the heuvos rancheros had clearly been sat for ages with cold eggs. I ended up asking for him to speak to the manager as we wete charged full price and a service charge. In the end they removed the service charge and the pancakes (which they had overcharged for as charged for a more expensive item than the one we ordered and received). First visit and extremely disappointed.

Staff were great managers very helpful. Our food wasn't great this time. But we were not charged & puddings complementary. I think the restaurant was very busy so may be that's why the food wasn't too good, my chicken burger came in a wholemeal bun which was dry, I'm thinking they had run out of brioche buns therefore the wholemeal bun, and the chicken a bit dry as well. 2 of my friends didn't really eat their meal. Last time we went to this restaurant the food was good. So not sure what went wrong. But as I said the staff were very good and helpful.

Hubert our waiter was knowledgeable about the wines and food menus. He made us welcome and the service was excellent even though the restaurant was full and it was a Saturday night. Our food was tasty and delicious. Wines very good. Will return and recommend

The food was tasty, portions were too light, I felt hungry when I lefts I had the salmon fillet, the filler was deep fried, there wasn't much quinoa, and it was just a bit average. My dad had the avocado and ricotta salad, again was way too light. Like I say, food was tasty but it was overall a bit disappointing. I won't be recommending or coming back to this restaurant anytime soon.

Very good service and the food was great. There is a vast choice of food, something for everyone. Good for a quick lunch especially if you need to get back to the office!

Good food and service but it was slightly overpriced. Probably worth going for the lunch deal or early dinner deal as otherwise you might feel slightly hard done by.

My friend who I went with ordered squid for a starter and had what tasted like two bits of chicken in it.. she mentioned it to the waitress who confirmed it could have been. We did expect something be taken of the bill but nothing was said. Overall it was a nice experience.. I will definitely go back..

Ordered avocado florentine. All very bland and lacking in flavour, even the eggs and the hollondais. Shame as it's in a great location on the river.

Coffees only came after we started eating our breakfast. Fries that we asked for were not freshly cooked. Staff were pleasant but unsure how they would cope if the restaurant was a lot busier.

Lovely first time visit at Jackson & Rye. Went with my daughter for mothers Day. Had a lovely table near the window with great river views. Staff were very pleasant and attentive without being intrusive. Food was great - I had the fillet steak which was cooked to perfection. Definitely will visit again.

Great Mother's Day brunch! Staff were friendly and accommodated our young children. Great choice on menu, but would be even better if more choice for kids, in particular a cooked breakfast option (e.g a 'mini' farmers breakfast)

Staff were really great and food was fantastic. There were some extras (ketchup, tabasco) that we requested that took a few times of asking before they arrived, but otherwise great.

We enjoyed the. Buzz of the restaurant and thought the service was quick and efficient . We also enjoyed the choice of food on the menu .

Great food, I had the Cajun chicken. Also great service and super nice waiters. The interior is cozy and comfortable and it is not too noisy

Nice place for supper. Nice atmosphere and music. Feel comfortable and relaxed. Food good and tasty. Wines nice too. Imagine it will be big hit as weather warms up.

We went there for a Sunday brunch and the restaurant was packed. Great location with river views and the food is nice, although nothing extraordinary. Friendly service.

Good food, good service, great location - we had very yummy cocktails, and the polenta hush puppies for the table are delicious. Highly recommend this branch

Amazing service - very attentive waitress who was friendly and checked on our food and wine, she was very attentive at all times. We had a specific dietary requirement at our table, our waitress checked and confirmed all was okay with Chef.

Great service, amazing food in lovely surroundings. The menu is traditional but with a few Interesting twists. We chose from the breakfast menu but all menus had desirable offerings. I would definitely recommend Jackson and Rye to friends.

Great food, lovely staff, no waiting. Had something off the brunch menu which is always consistently good. Got a river view this time too, which is a bonus.

Very reasonably priced lunch - main course and glass of wine. Lovely table at window and a perfect place to meet a friend for lunch. Good selection of food to chose from the menu. We enjoyed our baby back ribs and mushroom pasta - such good value.

the food was burnt and the lunch tables were all in one corner of the restaurant which I can imagine makes it easier for service but not much fun for those trying to have a confidential business conversation.

I come here every time I head to Twickenham, why, because the food is great, the location is beautiful, the staff are really friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is fantastic, really can't recommend this place enough.

We were greeted by very friendly, welcoming staff. Nice menu, food was enjoyed by each of us. Relaxed atmosphere and decor. This is a good place to have informal gathering with family and friends.

Fabulous food - portion size could slightly bigger for the price but still delicious. Plus excellent service. The peanut butter martini is a revelation! Definitely be returning

Great food and really lovely staff as usual. Some of the chips came up not very hot but this was dealt with very professionally and without fuss. Will be returning without a doubt.

The service was brilliant, we rang ahead to say we were stuck in traffic and they were very good about it and kept our table for us. The food was amazing and the restaurant itself was wonderful!

Service was very slow, food was mediocre. Several things on the menu weren't available but they didn't tell us until they came to take our order.

Was fine. Food was okay but nothing I would rush back for. Buttermilk chicken was delicious but fries chewy like they had sat in cold oil and were then reheated. The brioche bun had nothing on it and there was no salad that was not ordered on the plate. May just be me but i expect lettuce and tomato min on a burger. Service was okay albeit a little slow.

We Have eaten here a lot bit of a Rugby ritual.....but this time food wasn't great which was a little disappointing but would give it another go!

Very slow for the food (3 x 1/2 BBQ Board & 1 x Farmer Breakfast) to come, and when it did (45 mins), it wasn't very hot and both the ribs and brisket were dry and tough. Also, the lager on tap was warm, although the waiter did remove this from the bill.

Decent pre rugby feed with craft beer and good steak. Very much enjoyed by my whole party who had a wonderful time. I will be back

Really nice food, friendly staff. I had the buttermilk chicken which was really nice, wasn't too keen on the dry coleslaw served with it m, but apart from that I would definitely recommend that dish!

The location, the staff and the decor of the restaurant were all amazing. When the food came that too was amazing, it made my mouth drool for like 5 minutes before I ate something. Thank you !

Good food and service, nice outlook with a river view and good baluvenfor money. Dinner, sides and two bottles of wine for £110. All good

Great experience! We'll be back often! :) Things to improve: Avo Ricotta salad we had to start had half an avo - we had ordered it again as there was a decent amount of avo (at least a full one) on previous order. Double Rye arrived single, without ice, then with ice in and not on the side as requested.

Very good food. Great service. Great setting. Good drinks. No negatives. Good atmosphere. I would definitely go again and I would recommend to a friend
