I'm a coeliac and the staff were very knowledgeable about about a gluten free diet and cross contamination, they were very friendly and the food was great too.
The restaurant is lovely and the mains were really good and filling. The only let down was dessert which seemed like it had come out of a packet as the tart base was hard and the centre wasnt set. Also, the staff could have come to our table more frequently to take drink orders.
Customer service was amazing - we were made to feel very welcome from entering and the specific dietary needs we had were taken into account. Value for money was incredible - such a delicious range of foods and at a great price. Overall, this was a wonderful experience.
Had a delicious gluten free afternoon tea at Jam today. A fantastic menu with a wide selection to choose from and friendly service. The decor inside was also beautiful.
The food was excellent, service excellent and I really do not know why it is not more popular maybe word hasn't got around yet but I thoroughly enjoyed my visit .I had brunch but the afternoon tea looked amazing too!
Nicely decorated venue, staff were friendly, varied menu. We selected three light bites as tapas and all were good. Quiet between afternoon and evening sessions so don't know what it would be like if it was busy. Overall though very good.
Staff where lovely very helpful we had 4 prams with tiny babies and they went out of there way to make space for us moving tables and chairs. For anyone with a baby they will understand how much stress that took away from us. Food was lovely service second to non. Thankyou.
Restaurant itself is very very nice, staff very attentive, very reasonable on price, however the meal my partner had was extremely bland and not what we expected.
Food was excellent as usual staff very friendly & helpful. Choice of gluten free food is great. Afternoon teas are lovely no where else in Liverpool where you can get this gluten free
Once again I was able to enjoy a gluten free meal including a beer. Very few restaurants I can do this in. No a lot of choice for my friend who is vegetarian. Would have preferred the eggs used were free range and not fro battery hens but I suppose this would be too costly.
Amazing food, friendly owners and employees. Beautiful surroundings and so much choice. This place is great for all occasions. We will be going back regularly.
This restaurant is a hidden gem. After experiencing the quality of the food and service, I am surprised it isn't packed all the time. We had a great brunch and would have returned for dinner if our schedule had permitted.
Excellent service lovely food and my mum loved it 😁 A nice atmosphere inside and the staff were really helpful and made us feel so welcome. We will definitely be going back!
Booked a table for 3 on mother's day. On arrival the restaurant was heaving & we were ushered to the rear (the only seats available) where we sat next to 2 large very noisy groups, both of 15+ people. The service was excellent, but unfortunately some food had ran out, no roast potatoes, but were replaced by boiled. The meal in itself was really good & we all departed with headaches. But this is too be expected on what was a really busy occasion. On the positive side we have been before on more than one occasion, and could not fault either the service or the food & will not let this experience put us off. We will be going again.
Took my mum here for afternoon tea as a mothers day gift and i couldnt rate it highly enough. The food was amazing and the customer service and hospitality was exceptional from start to finish. I will defiently be returning to try a sunday roast .
Gorgeous venue, afternoon tea was delish particularly loved the mini trifle. Staff were fantastic and so attentive will definitely be back soon and would recommend to all.
They seemed to have forgotten about our booking. Our table wasn't even cleaned when we arrived and didn't even vacate until after we got in there building. Then they decided to assume our drinks order for afternoon tea despite giving us the menus to look at. Until a baby shower left I don't think they were bothered about much else but the food was lovely and the service did improve.
We had a fabulous Mother's Day afternoon. We had a roast dinner and it was very nice. Food and cocktails were perfect, friendly staff, highly recommended! We will be returning
Good service Very relaxing Good selection on the afternoon tea Friendly staff Easy to find the restaurant from public transport Would recommend to friends and family
I had my daughters 21st birthday afternoon tea yesterday and it was fabulous! The food was delicious and the service from Matt and team was brilliant. I can see why it's so popular and I will definitely return.
Lovely sparkly attractive venue! Really nice layout. Felt very private Service was excellent and the staff lovely and friendly. We tried a selection of light bites some of which were tastier than others but overall food was good. Would recommend
Pot of tea was great along with the service staff and surroundings..But sadly that's it . The sandwich rolls not good, salmon wedge ,beef wedge so tough I couldn't eat it,A smear of cheese spread..No egg mayo or ham,or real cheese! Scones ok,small jam jar of sour jam and cream between 2.And finger cakes where less than average.. Disheartened visit really.
Lovely menu and setting. My friends meal was not to her liking and we were quickly offered an alternative or refund. Would certainly return as my meal was delicious (mini fish and chips) and just the right size for a lunch. Lovely wine and excellent customer service.
Luxurious surroundings, excellent service and nice food. Will recommend to family and friends. Management really promoting great customer service. Booth seating and tables really good for group functions. Baby shower parties looked really good.
I Love Jam. The staff are great, the food is awesome my only disappointment is that the muggles have messed it up! Jam will know what I mean
Friendly service and we appreciated the efforts made to provide us with a vegan afternoon tea. Thank you to Joe and the team - see you again soon.
The food was brought out on cold plates so didn't stay warm long. Too much hollandaise sauce and overpriced for what it was. The peppermint tea wasn't great as all the leafs leaked from the strainer and so were floating around in the drink
Lovely food, prices are reasonabl, friendly staff, good choice of foods on the menu and nice venue, been here a few times and would highly recommend!
Wonderful gluten free fish and trips. Bread and butter pudding not as tasty as usual slightly burnt at the side. Service on the slow side. Will still go again purely because of the gluten free menu and because past visits have been good.
First time in jam and received a very warm welcome. The decor was fantastic. Food was lovely and the staff were extremely friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Very reasonable priced.
Loved our afternoon tea at Jam, can't wait to go again! Food was lovely, staff very friendly and chatty. The decor is amazing. Will definitely be going again soon l.
We had excellent food and service, good value. Attentive staff, tasty cakes, sandwiches first class, quality coffee and tea - go!Afternoon tea well recommended. .Monday 20th Feb 2017
Great service & lovely atmosphere, we came for afternoon tea and one of our party who is a child required a gluten free option, this was accommodated with by fuss. Would definitely recommend and visit again.
Perfect afternoon tea expierence! The service and the food were both brilliant and I will definitely return for another lunch! Lovely gluten free and vegetarian food!!
The place was actually empty when we arrived, and apart from ourselves, remained so for the entire evening. Simply cannot understand why though. The environment was vibrant but not gaudy. The service was excellent (as one might expect considering there was only us to serve), and although we did enjoy their full attention, our waitress was never intrusive. The food we chose was quite simple (burgers and ice cream sundaes), but was presented wonderfully and tasted just as good, for example the burger was gorgeously juicy and the home made chips especially pleased my partner. We both had gluten free options, due to my requirements, but neither of us could really notice any difference. Overall, we were both so impressed with our evening at Jam Cafe and will DEFINITELY visit again the next time we're in Liverpool. I believe the afternoon teas are worth trying.
The staff were very accommodating, great service and lovely food. Already planning my next visit, this would be a great place to hold a big family event.
Kept waiting for 45 mins as they had an issue with my voucher. Had to approach staff for them to say it was sorted, didn't bother telling us we could go
Had a lovely afternoon at Jam, food and service was great and the fact that you can get everything in the menu gluten free is fab for me. Will definitely go again.
Perfect central location, lovely decor and staf very friendly and helpful. Afternoon tea good calumet for money, had the vegi option and would have liked more varied sandwich selection as was just cheese..
Lovely venue. Very close to shops and easy to find. Very friendly atmosphere. Staff extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely home cooked scones & cakes. Perfect afternoon tea.
