Lovely atmosphere and excellent food! We go here regularly and it never disappoints. The camberet is amazing. The staff are so friendly and attentive. Little gem hidden off the beaten track

Really good meal. Looked after ok and the food was very tasty. Excellent French onion soup. The medium steak could have been a tad better done for me, but the taste was excellent. Are the cobwebs there for effect or accidental?

Great choice of food, nicely cooked, service a bit slow, but better than being rushed. Chairs uncomfortable by the end of the meal, will take a cushion next time!

Experience was ok, but we had a new staff member serving us who didn't really seem to know much about the menu (had to keep checking the specials). I had asked for the no cream version of the linguine but it came as the cream version. Not bad but could be better.

We had a lovely late lunch at Le Mistral, the food was very good and we were served by a very friendly, helpful waiter. Would certainly re visit.

Conveniently in the centre of Nottingham. Made very welcome at the restaurant. Service attentive although there was a slight mix-up over the main courses for two of my guests. However the food was very good as was the wine. Good value for money. Would recommend Le Mistral as a good place to meet and eat.

Go here often on double dates with my partner and coupleven friends. Great food, relaxing and friendly environment. Great for an after work meal or night out.

Very nice lunch, Pleasant surroundings which I liked but may be a bit dated for younger people (I'm retired). Very reasonably priced and the staff were friendly.

This is one of our favourites for a meal out. The steaks are sublime, service spot on and great selection of wines. Well worth a try if you're in town. The lunch or evening specials cover a great range.

As always, never dissatisfied with the food or service. Consistency is key and that is definitely a major skill which le minstral uphold, thus we will always return.

Service and food were not as good today as on previous visits (& I've been there lots! ) but still a very pleasant pre-theatre lunch. Mushroom starter was lovely but my cheese, olive and roasted red pepper omelette was lacking in cheese. May stick to Sherwood branch in future and look elsewhere in town.

Service fine. Dessert excellent. Main courses were very poor though. Hake was overcooked and swamped in sauce - sent back. Liguine chicken overcooked, too heavy on chorizo which overpowered everything else - could only stomach half of it before giving up. Focus seemed to be on quantity not quality. More finesse/subtlety required on these two dishes. Have been here before and never had any issues until this visit.

Lovely food, lovely staff. Great value for money. Have been many times and always have a great time. The kids love it there as well.

This small an intimate restaurant has to be my wife and I's favorite eating out location for special occasions, on this occasion a birthday meal that was royally treated to a complimentary glass of Proseco. Already looking forward to our next visit.

This place is a little gem in the middle of town but tucked nicely away. The food and the service was fabulous and we will definitely be revisiting, would recommend this place to anyone.

Love this place. Try and come here once a month with my boyfriend and our couple friends for a date night, highly recommended coming here.

Had a lovely birthday meal at Le Mistral - the menu was great, so many choices it was so hard to decide. The food was delicious with my all time favourite dessert creme brûlée to finish - perfect! Service was good and the prices are very reasonable. Will be back again soon!!

Sorry to say we had the fish stew it was absolutely the worst thing we have ever eaten. Rubbery overcooked fish in a tasteless congealed sauce. The starter wasnt much better a flavorless limp mushroom on a dry piece of bread. This used to be one of my favourite restaurants what the hell happened?! The score of 1 is for the service which was prompt

Nice atmosphere. Good wine. Moderately slow service, as full Saturday night with only two/three servicing staff. But didn't notice that much. Enjoyed the food, good portion sizes.

The food was good and varied. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and the service was excellent. Prices reasonable . We really enjoyed our meal.

One of our favourite places for a casual night out in a relaxed atmosphere. Only reason not a 5 is that if your a regular the menu seams to have been the same or very similar for some time i.e. plenty to choose from unless you have been 3 or 4 times.

Food did not live up to the menu description .Pasta dish was very bland ,complete lack of seasoning.Liked the venue but not the main course ,starters and wine were fine.

I have visited this restaurant on several occasions with friends. We like the food, atmosphere, and friendliness of the staff. Would not hesitate to recommend it but would advise that you book as it can be busy at certain times.

The staff were very attentive and helpful and the food and drink were excellent. Even though we stayed quite late and were the last ones in the restaurant, there was no attempt to make us feel uncomfortable or rush us out of the door.
