Le Mistral - Nottingham

Lovely food, decor and waiting staff. Only thing that lets the restaurant down is the toilets which are in the basement, very small and no lock.

Just had delicious lunch at Le Mistral. Food fantastic with so much choice. The welcome, service and food made for a perfect lunch. Thank you.

Had never been here before but really enjoyed it and will be going back soon! There are loads of little rooms that make it a little more intimate. Brilliant service and a great food

Very enjoyable meal last Wednesday lunch time, the staff were friendly, efficient and prompt. It was a quiet time with some others arriving just as we were finishing.

Lovely food, friendly staff and good wine what more could you ask for. This restaurant with its off the beaten track entrance is my favourite in Nottingham - I have never had a bad meal here.

La Mistral is a cosy restaurant with an ambience of individual customer attitude. The staff are attentive and efficient. Overall an enjoyable evening meal with friends.

We had a wonderful time on Saturday night at Le Mistral in Nottingham. The food was as delicious as ever, the wine flowed and we really enjoyed ourselves. Our waitress was Neus and she was lovely,laughing and joking with us.

My girlfriend and I were celebrating an anniversary and decided to go to LE Mistral to celebrate. We were greeted by friendly staff, excellent food and a free glass of champagne each on the house! We had a lovely evening.

We had afternoon lunch and it was beautiful. I would recommend this highly. I really like the reasturant on Mansfield road as well it has a lovely atmosphere with just enough tables in there. Great service.

Delicious food, great ambience, lovely staff. Was a perfect experience for my boyfriends birthday. Very authentic feel as well! No doubt will be visiting again.

Lovely helpful staff and good choice on the menu. Duck starter was huge and the pork main course very filling too. I recommend the crepes for desert.

Visited here a few times over the years. Food at lunchtime is simple but good. Great ambience and atmosphere. My wife has severe mobility issues at the moment and indicated this on our online reservation. Staff were great and very helpful. Thank you.

My mum had mussels and said they were very bland and had no taste to them. It's the second time we've had a below average meal here which is really disappointing as it used to be lovely.

Lovely restaurant, amazing food, just wish the music would have been more French instead of 80's pop and our romantic birthday celebration would have been complete! I would highly recommend this restaurant tho, I've been going many years and it's always produced consistent amazingly delicious food! :0)

Food was AMAZING, ambience was lovely and cosy, and the service was impeccable. Our waitress was so sweet, attentive and professional - she knew when to ask us for our orders and when we wanted to settle the bill, plus she was the only waitress working! It was truly one of my best dining experiences. Thank you!

Were not asked about an aperitif, but when ordered came as a full sized glass. Steak was tough, and both crepes were cold, for which we had a 30% discount off the bill for the crepes. A full bottle of wine was served despite asking for only half a bottle. Staff have changed since the last visit, and the standards have fallen. Very disappointing after being happy with the previous visits.

Excellent food and service. Good value for money and would definitely recommend to friends and others. Only small downside is limited selection of beers. Would go again

Went with a friend for a birthday lunch. Lovely food, nice atmosphere, though it would have been good to know in advance that we would be limited to the 3-course Mothers Day special menu.

Had the Mussels from Brussels - lots of mussels, great chips. Good value and good food. This is a great little restaurant - a real gem

Good food but service became very slow once we had finished our meal ie waiter took our plates away and then never came back once we had declined the pudding menu

Nice restaurant great service good food and friend Staff. We Booked for Sunday Lunch but they had run out of both beef and Chicken, so just pork left. If we hadn't pre- booked we could understand this. Neither taste cards nor Gourmet cards were accepted on the day even though we had been told they would be when we booked and it was clearly noted on their booking system. If discount cards are not accepted on the sunday set menus staff should know the policy and not take bookings. The Gourmet and tast Card web sites should also be updated to point out that they are not accepted on Sundays

Deliciousness varied menu. Prices were reasonable and we were served good sized portions. The waiters were especially attentive to the fact that one of us is vegetarian. We were twenty minutes earlier than our reservation time but that wasn't a problem for them at all. Overall, a great meal!

A lovely relaxed, friendly and cosy atmosphere with a real French feel. Staff are attentive without being intrusive. The food was great and overall good value.

The restaurant is fairly small. The food was good and the service was fine. We were not rushed and had a pleasant evening. I would say it was reasonably priced and had a reasonable wine list, but the wine list was not out of this world. There are better French style restaurants in Nottingham.

This place is a little gem ,there was great service,great food even though the place was full the staff were very efficient. Some cheap deals too.

Personal and unique with a great atmosphere and delicious food. We went for the mussels deal on Tuesday night - what a bargain! Would recommend to anyone who wants a relaxed meal with excellent service and good, tasty food.

Very good on the whole. Muscles were a bit small but my chorizo pasta was good. Lemon citron slices a bit mean but service prompt and friendly.

Two of our main courses were lukewarm When choosing deserts we were told that crepes were not available but only after the menus were handed out

Great food, Great service. A popular choice for my friends and I. A lovely cosy relaxed restaurant, tucked away in Nottingham. I particularly recommend the Duck Confit of Beouf Bourgignon.

The service was prompt and attentive. The menu had a very good selection and the food was excellent. I found Le Mistral using reviews (I didn't know it there beforehand) and was very pleased with my choice.

The front of house staff were polite and efficient, the meal was excellent value for money. I would certain recommend the resturant to any of my friends.
