Great food as always. Recommend mixed hot platter as a starter followed by salt/pepper squid (and anything else really). Very fresh tasting and quality ingredients throughout.

The food was very good and reasonably priced. The ambience was pleasant and the service was excellent. We will definitely be going back and will recommend it to friends.

Ambient restaurant with delicious food, big portions and attentive service. Go there and you will not be disappointed, the set menus especially are good value.

This is a very nice restaurant serving Chinese food! The food was very nice presented and very tasteful! The environment was adequate, not noisy and well decorated for the Chinese New year!

Food amazing. Always fresh food, highly recommend the cold starter the crispy shredded beef and the crispy tofu with chilli, ginger and spring onions were really tasty.

Excellent as always. Maxims is the best restaurant in Ealing, and has been for decades. My family and I have been going to Maxims for 30 years. The staff have seen my children since pre-school and it remains the best treat. Highly recommended.

Spent a Lovely evening at Maxims with family members for my daughters birthday. Great food good atmosphere, very festive surroundings with good service. This was not our diets visit.

First visit but won't be the last. Food, excellent, not only an efficient service but also extreemly freindly. The decor intersting, sptlessly clean and comfortable.

The food and service was brilliant, the staff are very friendly and the food was tasy and portions were a good size. Will definitely be going back.

We went for more son's 21st Birthday dinner and as usual the food was excellent. we have tried several Chinese restaurants but none come close to Maxim's. Even though we live a distance away we are prepared to travel as the food, ambience and service is great. I would highly recommend

Excellent Service, excellent food. Would highly recommend. There is a wide choice of dishes on the menu and there are excellent set menu choices which are available in the evening and at weekends too.

Good service, good menu, good food quickly served, attentive staff. Some interesting different dishes from the usual run of Chinese. Prices in the upper quartile.

Food was good but some of the service was not up to par. for instance, there was food all over the table and not once was this cleared...wine waiter was a bit abrupt too.

Lovely food. Always delicious and prawn that is out of this world. Not the cheapest in town but worth it. Would advise you pre-book though.

Starters were good, duck was good (but not as good as it used to be) but all of the 3 main courses we had were disappointing. The worst was crispy fried beef which was actually crispy fried fat, very sweet and greasy. The service was struggling to average. We paid £90 for two of us and had 3 drinks between us, no wine. I have been going to Maxims since it opened over 40 years ago but it's finally time to find a better local Chinese. Very disappointed.

As ever loved Maxims food. Their salt and pepper prawn and squid is a must! It is my local and I delighted to have it on my doorstep.

Good service and fantastic food. The set meal for 2 was just the right size for my wife and I to feel well fed. Would definitely recommend this place.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the service received was good. Unfortunately the food was bland and rather mediocre. The spring rolls were oily and had no flavour, the bean curd was salty and the noodles had no taste and were greasy. A shame, as we were looking forward to a nice meal at a restaurant which came with recommendations,

The place is really nice and well presented. The staff were very proffesional and friendly. The food was good I would rate it 7/10. I really enjoyed my experience there would definatetly go again.

Absolutely the best ribs in town! In fact all the food is very good, tried some delicious veal last night as well as the usual delights of crispy duck, crispy shredded beef and sizzling lamb. The service is great, so definitely a place to keep coming back to - and we do!

The food here is good. The service is rude and shambolic, long wait for food. Plates of food ready to be served shoved on to random shelves where dirty crockery had previously been placed. This is a shame, as the food is very well cooked and very tasty.

Food was terrible, Spare ribs were deep fried and oily, just served on a plate no sauce, no garnish and just plonked on the table. Finger bowl looked more inviting, when the crispy duck arrived, it was certainly crispy again deep fried to within an inch of its life, we sent ours back, manager arrived to say this is how these ducks arrive from the supplier, we got the impression all the food was brought in and reheated. Could have had a more tasty meal from our local take away, very disappointed we won't be booking again.

A find favourite that never fails to disappoint. Sadly diners with children adjacent to us meant it was not as relaxed an experience as it should have been. No point in taking issue with the diners as it would have only escalated things. Will return as this isolated incident is not a reflection on the restaurant or their staff. Would recommend Maxims.

We had a great time at Maxims - I couldn't comment on the authenticity of the food but it is consistently good, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere, even on a mid-week night was lively.

Unfortunately the food wasn't as good as previous visits The service was also clumsy with waiters reaching across us to pour water and not particularly friendly We won't be going back

I am not happy cause it's seems like that when it's busy they try to rush us to finish so the next customer will be serve. My partner has not finish drinking his drink & waiter will call and already our bills. So not please of the way they serve. For me it's a bit of rude

this used to be an excellent restaurant but has obviously deteriorated. the service was extremely slow, long waits between courses and we had to go and pay the bill at the bar while dirty dishes had not been removed from the table. Not enough serving staff and they were also running a take-away service from the bar. Very disappointing.

excellent food and excellent customer service, little bit of the pricey side but well worth it, had a fantastic mothers day meal. very busy and great overall atmosphere

They were awaiting our arrival, had a choice of table to suit us and all staff very pleasant. The food is excellent with a huge choice on the menu. The set dinners are delicious and excellent value. A lovely evening out, in pleasant surroundings.

Enjoyable meal- the food was plentiful and delicious. Service was slow, mainly because they were really busy and had many large parties in. But would definitely go again.

A fantastic restaurant - always a pleasure to go there; the food is exceptionally good and reasonably priced too. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The restaurant was pretty inside, but service was rubbish. They also stole money avoiding paying vat to hmrc

Food is lovely but the waiter was not great at serving the wine - left us waiting and spilt some every time he topped us up!

Food lovely but wine waiter very abrupt and spilt wine every time he topped up our glasses. Watch out for the service charge too. will still go back though.

Fantastic cusine with superb hospitality. A real test of Dynasty with fresh seafood and lovly sizzling lamb to die for. MAXIM offers ambien of Shangri-la. Highly recommended.
