Good service, food was good, not great (which I would expect for the price). The starter was excellent, but the, not cheap, chateaubriand was average.

Great atmosphere but so loud the waiting staff couldn't hear what we were saying. We had to wait for 45 minutes for the fizz to arrive and then over an hour for the afternoon tea. We had to ask for tea several times and then sugar and teaspoons. Great atmosphere just very disappointed with the service. Staff were friendly but I found they couldn't get the basics right. Doesn't bode well for our Christmas party in December for 30 people.

I can not complain about the food it was fantastic but for a high end astablishment the service was nothing short of shocking. We waited 20 minuets for our drinks to arrive at the table and then a further 50 minuets for the main course and then only three came so one of our party had to wait 10minuets more for hers to arrive. This put us having desert and couldn't wait to leave. If the service was of a better quality then this vist would have scored much much higher. Would we dine here again.......probably not.

Warm welcome from the staff. The menu isn't huge but it doesn't need to be. Lovely food and wine and the Beef wellington was exquisite 👌🏻

We were quite disappointed as the reputation did not live up to our expectations. My daughter had taken me to Manchester for an overnight stay for my birthday and she had booked Neighbourhood for a meal. The food was lukewarm and then we had a really really long wait for the desert. Considering it was only 6.30 on a Sunday evening we were a bit taken back. Also the service was not what I was expecting as the staff seemed to have a lack of communication with each other. On a more positive note the bar was very nice .

I booked afternoon tea as a birthday treat for my friend. The service was some what absence though one young man did appear to care. The pictures of the afternoon tea on their web site looked lovely. But they do say looks can be deceiving. The sandwiches felt as though they had been made a while and were starting to feel stale, we didn't get cream cakes or any cake as described we got some very small not nice bit size things, which tasted like biscuits with jam! The tea came in lovely individual pots but was half full and the tea bags tasted like very cheap tea and not nice at all. We had 3 pots -sorry 3 half pots- of tea each, as we don't see each other regularly so we were enjoying some time catching up, we were surprised to see we were charged for the last pot each, which I found strange as normally afternoon tea is usually with unlimited drinks. I would advice anybody not to go here unless you don't mind eating and drinking substandard food!!!!

Very much enjoyed the atmosphere, food as well as live music when visited on Thursday. Excellent, friendly and attentive service. Would highly recommend for a special occasion.

Visited for the bottomless brunch for my boyfriend's birthday and it was just the best thing, had such a great time, service and food amazing.

Lovely meal this evening at neighbourhood, had a slightly restricted menu - but I guess that was due to the sheer volume of people using the 50% off food offer that is on throughout January. Otherwise we had a lovely time enjoying the laid back atmosphere and general vibe. We'll be back without a doubt.

It was okay. The food was was reasonable but the place is very pretentious and it is very, very loud. Full of people wanting to show off.

Far too many Hen parties going on, felt like I was in a TGI's food and drinks were excellent though. Would give this place another go.

Myself and three friends booked a table here on Friday 9th Sept 2016. We all ordered the 8oz Sirloin Steak. Whilst it is expected that sirloin steak will contain some fat (adding to the flavour) we found that the steak was very fatty. We did complain and was told that we would expect the steak to be fatty around the edges. However, the steak was fatty through the middle as well. Also, the music was exceptionally loud and we found it difficult to hold a conversation without having to repeat ourselves. Eventually when ordering food and drinks, the waiters found it difficult to hear what we were saying. Having said that, the service was very good and the bar had a singer on the night we visited and he was fab! We wouldn't eat here again however. There are much nicer places.

I prefer the old layout of neighbour hood where the eating area was more to one side where as now people are sat next to you in groups drinking

Tofu on the a avacardo starter was awful, absolutely tasteless and didn't work on the dish, try using halloumi instead, Chicken gravy was cold and like jelly, sent it back, Apart from that, our waitress was fab

Food good, was after a drink at the table after our meal but was told that we couldn't because our table was booked for a later reservation:

The restaurant and food were both wonderful. The only problem I had is how many emails they sent me about my booking. I think I had around 10 in total. Felt like they were harassing me.

Food was terrible very diss appointed, the sandwiches was stale and the cake was soggy! It wasn't worth what I paid and I will not eat in the neighbourhood ever again! Discussing 👎

As always the staff took great care of my family and me. Requested a particular booth due which was sorted without any problems. Our designated waiter was extremely attentive and the GM came round a few times to ensure we had Everything. Food was spot on (fillet steak) too !

Unfortunately we found the food was fairly standard for the price. I had to send dessert back as it was inedible to my taste. I personally felt that overall the prices we high.

The staff were amazing,the doorman were friendly which is a rarity nowadays and the food was fantastic I would recommend neighbourhood to anyone going to Manchester on a night out

My husband and u had a fabulous evening last Friday. The food was amazing and the service too. The whole restaurant was buzzing as there was live music with a band and a sax and drum player. Will definitely be returning.

Food was good as usual though it wasn't warm. The main let down was the service. The waiter never told us anything that has ran out on the menu so we had to re pick 3 times. Service could have been better.

The food was nice. The service was OK, automatic service charge added. Great atmosphere, sat in a booth overlooking the bar. A little on the expensive side for the quality.

Lovely meal and fabulous service. I left my dessert as it was too sweet for my palate,when the bill arrived they had taken it off. I know plenty of restaurants which wouldn't do that when something was faulty.

Service was perfect. Most helpful when ordering drinks and more than happy to accommodate. Food was nice but the burger was a massive disappointment. Would still recommend 👍🏼

Great selection of food although slightly small portions, and two for one drink up until 7pm made it a great visit, staff very friendly and polite

Very overpriced for what we received , £30 a head for afternoon tea which was very poor. Very basic would not recommend especially not when you are not getting any value for money, make better sandwiches at home. This was with a living social voucher wouldn't like to know the prices without the voucher. Also received the bill for the full value without the voucher deducted and the service when we queried the bill was not very helpful left us feeling uncomfortable and embarrassed for querying a bill which was incorrect

Have been a regular diner here but tonight was my first time since the refurbishment...I must say its an improvement.....very enjoyable surroundings and delicious food...not enough choice regarding cocktails.

Been several times before but this is the first time I've visited with my little boy and we all loved the food, friendly service, and cocktails for me

Very popular venue. We were dining early as going to a show after and the place was packed and very noisy. Food was good and service was very good.

We visited for Sunday lunch with our children and my mother in law. Everyone enjoyed the food, the staff were very accommodating of the children's fussy eating and our waiter was fantastic

Great Sunday lunch food, just wanted a slightly happier waitress. Also would prefer a table separate from others found the seating a bit too close to each other.

A fantastic meal! The sushi was excellent! We had great seats tucked around the corner which meant we could feel the atmosphere of the restaurant without it being too noisy.
