absolutely amazing. loved the service as not only was our group offered a free tasters, the waiter explained what everything was. the steaks are the best I've ever tasted.

Attended for dinner one Friday evening. A little quiet. Good food but a little expensive. Nice surroundings and the location is central. Overall it was okay

The food was very Spanish and tasty, the wines were excellent with some rarities difficult to find in London and the staff was very kind.

Have been to Bilbao Berria quite a few times over the last 2 years. Unfortunately the menu has been dramatically reduced and so has the quality and service. Shame!

Friendly and excellent service, interesting and very good wine list and genuine kitchen in a rustique but trendy and peaceful setting - exactly what we wanted a chilly October Saturday in a crowded London.

Taste was good and the atmosphere is too perfect for only four men to spend time. Risotto might be a bit too salty for British people.

Great staff great food and great experience! Just be aware that apparently when you make a reservation it's for the downstairs a la carte not the upstairs tapas dining. Would definitely recommend.

Never. Ever. Go. Here. The food here is the worst example of Spanish tapas I have ever eaten. The wine selection is terrible. The waiters are reasonably nice but generally service was hard to attract and not good when it arrived. It took 15 minutes for a glass of wine to arrive by which time the kitchen had delivered two plates. We went when the place was only about 20% full.

Beautiful and unusual decor, warm welcome, very friendly staff. The jamón serrano is cut on demand and it melted in the mouth...The dishes we shared were all delicious. Very good wine menu.

A bit pricey, but good food and service. Nice atmosphere too, and the staff are incredibly friendly. The steak was excellent, as was the tapas.

A pleasant meal with good service. Unfortunately steaks were overdone. Medium was well done and dry. They were replaced. Service was a little slow but the waitress was very helpful.

maybe it was because it was a Monday but it was empty. and there seemed to be no central air so very hot. in terms of Spanish cuisine....very average. disappointing. the restaurant looks beautiful.

The restaurant was empty apart from us. The food was good. The waitress was on her second day. It was an odd experience. I wondered whether we had entered a parallel universe.

OMG! So in love with this restaurant! Decoration and location are amazing. Being basque myself I don´t get impressed easly but the cod carpaccio literally knocked me off! Service was also super friendly. Can´t wait to go back! =)

always good at bilbao berria but we miss tapas as in barcelona. You got to serve it too in London. This is something unique and so delicious.

Overpriced. Nice modern style decor. Food quality is good and nice wine list. An interesting Spanish dining experience. Front service and waiting a bit cold.

I don't like the changes in the menu. The old was better. Also, everyday is less quantity in the portions for the money that the food cost. Quality still good.

Some really nice dishes but some were FAR too salty, especially the pan con tomate, and the service was very patchy - they forgot to bring a few things.

The atmosphere and service left a little to be desired. We came early before theatre when it was quite empty but we're able to sit on a bigger comfier table which remained empty throughout our meal. The food and wine were very good, particularly the steak.

I love Spanish food and Bilbao Beria has the ultimate ambiance and decor that makes the food experience all the more pleasant. On top of it the location is ideal for a quick meal before the theatre

This was my second visit and I was glad that everything was consistently good. The food was very tasty, reasonable value and selection of dishes. The ambience was relaxed and not too noisy. Service was friendly, attentive and efficient.

We were surprised there were very few people. The food quality is simply not acceptable. This has been our second time and the last one.

Beautiful restaurant, immaculately clean cutlery, great service, excellent starters and dessert. Perfect for a pre-show meal, as the Theater Royal is just up the road.

Excellent Spanish tapas dishes and 'personal muy votos' in a location of sanctuary just yards from the hubbub of Picadilly circus. Looking forward to our next visit.

We had an early lunch at Bilbao Berria. It was delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend it for lunch or pre-theatre drinks and nibbles.

The service is quite lame, food arrivedbefore drinks, they didnt know how to do simple cocktails, they dont take your jackets and generally do not feel welcomed

Very unimpressed with the food and expected much more from the pictures and the lay out of the website. Have eaten much cheaper Tapas which has been much fresher, tastier and more enjoyable.

Lovely atmosphere and friendly service - tapas dishes were good but we ordered one of the specials (Hake Tempura) which was just pure salt and spoilt the experience a little. Management however did not charge for this dish, and we came away with an overall good experience.

The atmosphere was lovely, the food was delicious, the wine was delicious and the seating is incredibly comfortable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone and would definitely come here again.

Great food and kind staff although slow. They accommodated a gluten free version of a dish for me which I very much appreciated. However, they were clearly understaffed and my food didn't come at the same time as the rest. After waiting several minutes in which I had to encourage my party to start eating without me, I ended up asking what happened with my order. They apologised and brought it fairly quickly after I asked, but it was cold, it had clearly been waiting for long time to be picked up.

Just as a comment, there is no Ribera del Duero wine but the food was excelent and the service very friendly with us. The singers and the music were lovely!!

The food is simply amazing! A mix of basque and spanish food. The best basque restaurant in London. Staff really friendly, good atmosphere in the restaurant. The decoration is awesome.

Service was slow and our desert order was forgotten. Staff also didn't know what non-alcoholic drinks were available. It was also quite empty yet they chose to sit a loud couple right next to us.

Was gutted after being turned away for being late! Due to unforeseen circumstances (tubes shut) I was late. The waitress gave our reserved table to the couple in front of me :( ruined my birthday meal!

Great Spanish foo experience, with a minor Asian influence. Proportionate selection of Spanish wines. Quiet atmosphere downstairs on a Monday night. Attentive service. Kitchen in sight but no noise/fumes.
