Fantastic Polish restaurant. Everything we tried was just delicious including cocktails and flavoured vodkas. Highly recommended place.

Great food, great atmosphere, really buzzy, particularly for a Tuesday evening. Very enjoyable, as usual.

Tasty food served in a pleasant environment by a smiling and friendly Polish team. The marquee looks out to the Imperial College quadrangle. Entrance is on Exhibition Road. Will come back.

Great place for Polish fare. Chicken Kiev done right (except I'd put the sides on a seperate plate to let the butter sauce spill out unmolested). Highly recommended.

Sunday 16th lunch: Whilst our male waiter was very good, the other staff were not as friendly, unfortunately. It is always preferable to arrive to a welcome, (coat check guy), and not feel somehow - disdained, (female waitress with the puddings).

AmaZing service and food! Great value for money. We had barszcz, pierogi, , Veal with mushroom sauce and honey cake to finish! All delicious! Thank you and we will be back soon!

Nothing special about this place. Used to be much better.

Noise levels were extremely high, and as such it made conversations difficult. The major problem was that our main course was very delayed, even though other diners who arrived after us, received and finished theirs before ours arrived. Management did however not charge for our desserts, which was a welcome gesture, but the delay was annoying particularly as we had guests.

Pleasant, soothing ambience. Very tasty food overall, interesting menu. The chicken livers excellent. Potato pancakes with goulash top mark. Got very busy around 2pm (Saturday) and waiting time was a bit long for lunch latecomers (we arrived at 1.00pm). Serving staff efficient, pleasant , not intruding. Highly recommended, great value and standards for a very touristy neighborhood.

Very good food and atmoshere and very good service too

I have dined at this restaurant three times this year and there is plenty to like about it. Most striking is the old fashioned middle European charm of the last century which greets you on entering the large ballroom style restaurant with traditional white tablecloth covered tables and balloon backed chairs set in a light, , airy spacious environment. The food is good, typically Polish and the staff, well turned out. My only gripe is that this restaurant could so easily be elevated from good to exceptional with a few easy tweaks. Firstly, the staff are mainly very good but you only have to get one who doesn’t smile or is less than helpful for your experience to be reduced. Secondly my husband has a glute intolerance and this is not catered for with any particular interest and no provision, so he is reluctant to return Thirdly, the food could be elevated from good to brilliant. The starter of herring I had could have been delicious had it not been swamped in a sauce of white raw onion. The black sausage my friend had was bland. The sauce I had with the otherwise excellent Ox cheek needed more flavour.The ham hock my husband had was delicious but so big it needed more vegetables to accompany. The desserts were all reasonable but could have been elevated in presentation. These are mainly minor gripes for an establishment which I otherwise love to go to and enjoy.

I read about this resturant along time ago, and so have wanted to go for a long time. It didn't disappoint, from the grand facade, to the elegant resturant, the tasty wholesome plentiful food. Would definitely recommend. The starter came out quickly and I thought e might be rushed but we were allowed to take our time at a pace the friendly staff got exactly right.

Delightful ambience and good/delicious food ... but seemed a little understaffed; we had to wait a little longer at times than usual for service. But overall, well done and thoroughly recommendable.

Best Polish food I've had in London but the main attraction is the cozy candlelit yet traditional atmosphere. Been there twice now, both times the food took longer and the second time they brought be the wrong dish (they did apologise and gave me a discount). This is a small bit of constructive feedback rather than a complaint. I thoroughly enjoyed going there twice and look forward to my next visit!
