Oliver’s restaurant was lovely.The waiters were very attentive and the food was great quality and super delicious.We have been a few times now and we have never been disappointed.Definitely will book again soon.

Too many roast potatoes and not enough vegetables. Also suggest serving children’s meals on a bigger square plate rather than a small rectangular plate. Other than those things we enjoyed our meal

Three of us went after work for a 6.30pm dinner. It was midweek so very quiet but we all enjoyed our meal choices and lovely desserts. Would go again!

Lovely spacious restaurant, we had the Sunday menu, food was delicious, only complaint was not enough veg, I just got one carrot with my mash and pork .

On this visit it was not well attended (time of year?) but service abd food was great as usual.

Far too many chunky chips, almost 3/4 of the plate. The beef pie was lovely. But only 1 carrot is hardly one of your five a day. Less chips and more veg would be a better balance.

Welcoming staff reception area quite cool. Starters were nice, pork roast was tough & fatty, beef roast was nice. Crème brûlée was a bit thin. Sadly not as enjoyable as usual.

We had an excellent meal with great food and service

Booked a meal for 16 people as menu offered varied menu including vegan. Vegan soup arrived with bread roll and butter. As it was a vegan started, I asked if the butter was vegan , only to be told it was “ normal butter”. Staff miserable and not attentive at all ( apart from the barmaid who was lovely). Service really poor - had to go to the bar to order more drinks due to table service none existent. Portion sizes really small - had to order extras to make it bigger. Restaurant empty and can see why . Would not return

A very relaxing afternoon catching up with friends. The waitress was very helpful.

Very slow service trying to get the attention of staff took a long time. Two of us ordered the same dish but due to running out of while mozzarella were served different dishes. When we questioned why they weren't the same we were just told 'sorry we've run out'. How can you serve people on the same table different dishes someone should of come out and explained and offered the option to change. Overall the food is very mid level for the prices you pay

' Discovered ' this place about 6 months ago and I have been back to It on a fairly regular basis. I can't fault It. The food is amazing and the staff are very friendly. Really looking forward to my next visit.
