Great lunch - tasty food, nice environment and great service.

From start to finish it was an excellent experience. On entering we were made most welcome and shown to a window table, which we had requested. We were allowed to settle before the waitress came to ask whether we would like something to drink. The drinks arrived promptly. After a few minutes the waiter came to see whether we were ready to order. Our order came quickly. We both chose the mushroom strogonoff. which was hot and delicious. We then ordered a tiramisu and an apple crumble which were equally delicious. The service was attentive without being intrusive. The cost, without drinks was £31 which we thought was very reasonable for a meal which was out of the ordinary.

Nice atmosphere, food & service. Fruit crumble disappointing as only a few crumbs. Chicken disappointing as seemed to be a chicken roll.

Food was lovely and well presented. Staff were attentive and very nice. Courtney is lovely and nothing too much trouble. The gentleman was very nice too. Decor is beautiful. I don't understand the negative reviews. This is the second time we have been when I've visited from Scotland and we love it. It can be a bit pricey but lovely for a special meal.

The venue is lovely and service was excellent. Food and wine were good. However, we were disappointed as we wanted to enjoy the two for £10 cocktails as advertised on the restaurant website. Unfortunately, we had to pay £14 for two. I showed the website menu to our server and was told that this needed to be updated. It felt like false advertising. We still ordered three rounds, but I would have hoped that this has been honoured, or at least the first two cocktails for £10 as a gesture of goodwill. We go out for lunch every Friday and will stick to the town centre where we can get two for £10 cocktails!

The Manager was very welcoming and we were made to feel comfortable. Courtney, who served us, was amazing. The food was great, as always, with a good extensive menu. Will return very soon.

The food is always very good , today no different. What makes this place different is the attention to detail, eg, Propper napkins.

Went for a birthday lunch , food was excellent and was totally surprised at the range considering it was a set menu! We had the 3 course one and not one thing wasn't nice , service was also excellent and staff so friendly , there was a party of about 20+ having afternoon tea which looked amazing so that is our next booking! Can't recommend it highly enough .

We have always enjoyed our experience at Olivers and today was no different, excellent Sunday lunch one veggie option and one lamb. No skimping on the meat and gravy and all beautifully cooked. Cocktails executed well too! The foods presentation was excellent and the staff a really good mix of attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Great way to spend a couple of hours on a damp Bank Holiday Sunday!!!

Starters was nice but everything else wasn’t that good there was hardly any meat in the lasagna and the pasta needed cooking more

This was first time here. We came with my son and his wife. Excellent food. My partner and son had ribs they were delicious. I had anti pasta which was very tasty. My sister in law had goats cheese which she said was excellent. The mains were very tasty and good portions. We could not finish our meals shop took left overs home. This will be our first and not last time.

The team at Oliver’s are always so warm and welcoming and have never had a bad experience there. It was the first time my guests had been and they thought it was fine dining at its best. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon.
