Great food nice place to eat or drink in the wine bar

Wouldn’t go again I went with 3 service users with LD it took me almost 5 minutes to cut up a chicken dinner beef tasted and looked like it was out of a pack wasn’t keen on the mash either tasted like smash with extra butter roast potatoes wasn’t fresh so hard - despite only 2 other tables in use when we arrived

Had dinner food amazing not rushed by staff had a lovely catch up with friends overall fantastic night!x

Paying high price for an terrible Sunday lunch lucky if the roast potatoes saw an oven .meal arrived cold and when asked if meal ok.didn't really want a truthful amswer.wont be going back

We were disappointed in the quality of the food. We’ve been to Oliver’s many times and always been very happy. But today the food was definitely of a lower standard.

First time visit on a quiet night. Food and service was excellent ( although they had no fruit for adding to the ice cream ). However, that won't stop us returning.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated. The service quick, professional yet understated. The food is first-class and excellent value for money.

2 starters came out, then we waited 8 minutes for the third starter. We asked for some parmasen cheese for one of the mains, we waited over 7 minutes for it and seeing as there was only 2 tables occupied including ours, service was a bit slow but the food was lovely

We were very disappointed. We left without eating. The restaurant was understaffed for service. We waited over 30mins before we got any drinks. Then had no idea when our order for food would be accepted. We were not the only couple who left that evening. It was our first experience at Olivers and dining there again would not be a first choice.

Great food and excellent service. Sadly we had to leave in a hurry.

Visited with friends for lunch. We had the set lunch as vegetarians and meat eaters. Enjoyed wine, Prosecco and then cocktails in the bar. Staff are attentive and friendly. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the food is well presented.

I just liked the place. Large & dining area with lots of round tables which I find more social. The waitress was superb and the food delicious. I had sea bass, one of our party had the steak and raved about it. Would definitely recommend.

My friend and I enjoyed two courses from the set menu. We both had bruschetta followed by pasta, but I had the vegetarian options. Staff are welcoming and attentive. We shared a bottle of Chardonnay, which is the cheapest wine, but goes well with the Italian choice of food. We finished with cocktails from the 2 for £14 deal. The cocktails are exceptionally good.

Last minute decision to have a Sunday lunch for2. The atmosphere was quiet and calm and the service was attentive. The starter was very generous (paté) The roast beef was nice enough but sauces were very minimal portions. Yorkshire pudding was a bit tough.

Had to change dining time from 6.15pm to 7.15pm but accommodated it well. Courtney served us ...very nice and professional, nice girl. Our 4th visit and will certainly come again. Looking forward.
