Pappa Roma

this is a Nice local restaurant - the pasta I had was very tasty and the pizzas looked great. The service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere nice and buzzy.

We were looking for an Italian restaurant to go to around the Natural History Museum and due to the good reviews on the Internet, we chose to go to Pappa Roma. It was wonderful. Traditional Italian food, home made and served in a family setting. We were keen to support an independent business and will certainly be back.

Fantastic friendly atmosphere. Classical Italian food. octopus starter was really good. Try the fettuccine with beef and veal ragu. Don't miss the chocolate souffle to finish the evening

Very nice restaurant staff and food, and the prices aren't bad either. But the pizza is a bit tasteless, like you just want to keep adding salt .

1st class, great ambiance, fabulous wine, great attentive staff, ideal location by South Kensington tube, set us up for a great night at the Royal Albert Hall, I will be going back!

Lovely restaurant. Perfect for a pre Royal Albert Hall event meal. Food was fantastic. Cheesecake melted in the mouth. Lovely bottle of Amerone. Italian food at its finest.

Excellent food and service. Only comment is could do with a little more space as difficult to get in and out of table area. Will go again.

Staff were very friendly and the pizza was delicious. Definitely will go again next time I'm in South Kensington to try some of the other dishes on the menu.

The food was great and the staff were really nice. Very attentive and accommodating. The service was also very fast, we were in a rush and told them so and they went above and beyond to meet our requirements. The restaurant itself is a bit warm but has a great atmosphere and felt very homey. Will definitely visit again!

It doesn’t look much on the outside in a little side street but is only a few minus walk from S Kensington tube. However as soon as we walked in the wonderful smell of herbs and garlic was just wonderful. We had very friendly service and the pasta, risotto, calamari and steak was excellent and we will go again

Went to papa Roma after visiting an exhibition nearby. The staff are friendly and the service is quick. On the whole, we enjoyed our food, although my dining companion asked to change his dish as his clam vongole was grainy. The staff were very understanding and pleasant. Nothing was a problem. The pizzas looked very good too. Nice ambiance and cosy little restaurant.

Great pizza, exactly what we were after- especially as some of us had just run a half-marathon! We turned up a little early and they kindly accommodated us. But more importantly- great pizza!

A small comfortable restaurant, nothing fancy and the food was fine. Good for a quick pre theatre meal. We were off to the Royal Albert Hall.

Recommended to me for it's pasta I was not disappointed. The chef got passionate when describing the recepee. I will definitely cone back. Maybe a bit pricey though.

Over from the West of Ireland ,our 2nd visit in 12 months , the same great service ,great Italian dishes great wine , go and enjoy this trattoria for a true Italian experience .

Our server was nice and attentive and the food was solid. We all got pasta but the pizza looked delicious. We will go back to try the pizza.

We arrived quite late as our concert overran, but we still received a warm welcome. I had a vegetarian pizza which was amazing, really crispy base. My partner had a risotto which was perfectly cooked and full of flavour. We'd definitely return for a more leisurely evening.

We booked a table here so that we could eat and eat after a day at the Natural History Museum. This is a lovely rustic authentic Italian restaurant with very good food and friendly, attentive staff. Kids portions available and lots of choice. We will eat here again for sure.

Staff really friendly and the pepperoni pizza was very tasty. The sea bass was okay. I would recommend keeping your order to a pizza based on my experience.

Delicious food, pleasant and helpful staff. Limited menu choice unless you like fish and shellfish. I had gorgonzola risotto - tasty and strong; my partner had spaghetti pesto. Uninteresting.

A wonderful authentic Italian experience in London. Excellent service and delightful food with great flavours. My boyfriend and I had an incredible time here, and it was an excellent find for a celebratory dinner! Would recommend to anyone who was thinking of going here.

Starters of bruschetta and calamari were excellent as was the pizza. Veal escalope however was average and the Sallazo white wine was awful. Service good
