Delicious food, calamari was great, pizza was OK and pasta lovely. Fantastic service. It was very quiet for a tues early eve pre theatre dinner so the vibe was a bit lack lustre, the background British pop music a bit weird (pretty awful actually) and family arguing in the corner a massive downer Pretty pricey too but good location and quick eat before heading off somewhere else a bit more festive and fun.

Nice restaurant with attentive staff. Food was generally very good, excellent pizza and calzone. Only disappointment for me was the goats cheese and orange salad which had plent of very fresh salad leaves but only a small amount of grated goats cheese running through it and no dressing.

Ok but nothing special. The place is very dark and it looks a little bit run down. Pizzas are probably the best thing they do.

Food was good, though wife wasn’t too keen on her salmon. Lovely pizza and pasta. Service was a little slow - misjudged waiting for us to finish focaccia before serving mains

Very disappointing pizza, nowhere near as good as the awards would suggest. Great service, good value and nice setting but if you're expecting a world class pizza you'll be disappointed.

Best Italian food in London!!! Very authentic! Pizzas are outstanding and all pasta meals exceptional. We love Pappas Tomas. Small intimate setting. Great place for a date or special dinner.

Very nice food and authentic. Lovely staff. Would definitely recommend. I was suffering from a cold and struggled to taste the food, but the calamari melted in my mouth and the lamb just fell away. The pizzas also looked good.

Fantastico! Very nice atmosphere, lovely waitress, would highly recommend. Ravioli delicious, calamari ‘real’ and not over done; we try an insalata caprese everywhere, from Naples to Taormina, to Sicily to Dublin and this was defo one of the best!

A very enjoyable meal at Pappa Roma, especially the pizzas. It was empty when we arrived but soon filled up. We were clock watching waiting for desserts to arrive (because we had a show) but it was because the souffles were cooked fresh and they did not disappoint.

Great meal and service. Surprised tip pre-included in bill but as happy with experience willing to pay No children's menu given but when we asked they will do smaller pasta dishes for little ones

Pappa Roma is a great and authentic Italian restaurant. The customer service was fantastic and the food even better. My mum said it was the best melanzane alla parmagiana she’s ever had (& she’s not easily pleased). You know an Italian restaurant is going to be good when there are Italian people eating at it!

Lovely food and ambiance. Very good for families. The pasta was delicious. The service was a little bit sloppy and a bit expensive. It’s beri close to the tube station which is very convenient.

The food and the service were both very good. I was surprised at how quiet the restaurant was at lunch time but this suited my friend and I since we were able to have a good chat. However, I think £61 for a simple lunch and wine was a little expensive.

A great find. Local gem within close walking distance of the Royal Albert Hall, tucked away in a quiet side street within 2 minutes walk of South Kensington Underground. Nothing fancy, just good, honest Italian food at great prices with efficient service. Wood fired pizzas have delicious, and surprisingly light crust. My only criticism was on arriving first, I was left without the offer of a drink while waiting for my dining companion. But would definitely return.

Cosy and welcoming Italian restaurant. Good service and polite waiters. But nothing very remarkable. Pretty good but only that. It has a potential to have a Italian wow factor.

Really lovely food, and intimate buzzing atmosphere. We had lovely fresh calamari and the pizzas were very good indeed. Felt like we had found a neighbourhood favourite.
