We booked Pappa Roma with no real research other than location. However, it was a great choice. They handled the fact that it was a surprise for my wife really well and the food was great ..... and very good value. We would definitely return.
Good food, lots to coose from on the menu, nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. We were made to feel very welcome. You wait a while for your food which reassures you that is freshly prepared. Would recommend.
Each had a pizza which was nice though not outstanding , but the calimari and king prawn starters were both superb, Kim loved the sweet chili sauce.
we are regular customers and today we enjoyed New dishes which were really tasty. the service is always good and the staff very friendly. grazie mille
We had a delicious meal at Papa Roma. The food was cooked perfectly. The service was excellent. Two of us had fish and one of us had pizza and one of us had pasta. We were all very happy with our meals. The dessert was also delicious and there was a good selection of a variety of dishes. The restaurant was not too loud so we were able to talk comfortably. We would definitely return.
Excellent meal, food was really good, service great. Couldn’t fault it it. We were there early as were going to a show but no problems. Only bad comment is that 12.5% gratuity was added to the bill, prefer to choose my own tip.
This is a Lovely authentic Italian restaurant which has a nice atmosphere and good menu selection. Walking distance from south Kensington station which makes it easy to get to.
The restaurant is very nice and the food is very very delicious! A piece of Italy in London! We are well represented , that’s for sure . I suggest this restaurant if you want To eat very Italian food in London.
Great authentic Italian food with nice specials menu and a relaxed environment. Kids really enjoyed it too. Good recommendation on the wine and great service.
Excellent service & good quality food. Literally within 3 minutes walk of South Kensington station. Try and spend at least 1.5 hours here to enjoy the menu properly!
Really great service and excellent pizzas and pastas. Cosy atmosphere, family friendly and with reasonable prices, especially considering its South Kensington location. Would definitely recommend!
Great food, lovely service and a very friendly welcome. Will definitely visit again. No kids menu, but our 6 year old son had a great time demolishing over half an adults pizza!
Pizza was good, tasty tomato sauce. Nothing fancy nor elaborate. Salad was a bit plain, oil and vinegar serve yourself. Prices reasonable. Would go back if in the neighbourhood.
We were booed in at 5.45 on Saturday evening and our starter came quite quickly. Rather a long wait for our mains but when they arrived they were delicious. The staff were attentive and professional. Altogether a really nice experience and we will return.
The food and staff were amazing I would definitely go there again. The only negative was the added 12.5% tip. I would of preferred the option as we tend to use cash but other than that perfect visit.
Fantastic traditional Italian Restaurant - excellent food and excellent service. Fantastic home made pasta and good value wine. Delicious fresh desserts. A pleasure from start to finish!
Very delicious food and very fast and friendly staff, I really felt like I was at home in Italy! definitely I’ll come back soon! :)
Fabulous meal and genuine Italian pizza with deep fried prawns & courgettes to start. First time meal from Papa Roma in South Kennsington London found on trip advisor. Would definitely recommend.
Excellent meal with excellent service. Had 3 courses all of which were fabulous. Would highly recommend and would certainly pay another visit when I am next in London! I would highly recommend this lovely place.
Nice restaurant with good Italian food, the pizza was great. Service could be a little better, hade to ask two times for coffee and dessert.
We had a wonderful meal with really tasty pizzas - four different flavours between us and all were superb. The only downside was being slightly cramped at our table, but it wasn't a major issue.
Super Service, tolles Essen - ein gelungener Abend. Gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.
Authentic Italian offering a varied menu and great atmosphere. Our pizza and pasta dishes were delicious and service very good. Recommended for lunch or dinner.
Lovely atmosphere, amazing pizza and great service. Table was booked for half 7 and by 8pm the place was full. Will definitely eat here again next time we're in London 10/10.
Lovely home cooked Italian food. Very tasty and well presented. Nice atmosphere and really good, friendly service. Highly recommend the pistachio cheesecake. Would definitely visit again!
Lovely authentic atmosphere, gorgeous food and Italian wine. Friendly and welcoming to the children. Highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be visiting again.
The food was stunning. Couldn't fault it. Fresh and full of flavour. Casual restaurant with food that surpasses all. Will definstely return when next in London
It was very great. The food was fresh and the waiters are very motivated. I had a italian Pizza with tomatoes and mozzarella, the pizza was well baked. I would totally recommend to eat in this restaurant.👌🏻👍🏽
An early weekday tea with the kids. Really tasty pizza and a lovely glass of red wine. Friendly and efficient staff. I would like to go again.
We were received with a very warm welcome. It was our first visit and we are quite fussy eaters. The food was absolutely excellent and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We will definitely return.
Our first time visiting Pappa Roma and based upon the online reviews our expectations were high and were met. We were welcomed very politely and the service was efficient. The menu was extensive and very reasonably priced for this area of London. Our choice of meal was served promptly and was delicious. We will be returning soon.
Fantastic dinner with a lovely atmosphere. Service was great and staff were very helpful. I highly recommend this restaurant and personally the Salmon on Couscous
Restaurant on a side street, not too flashy. Sundays popular with families with children. Food very good and service excellent. Wine list needs to be improved.
Great and tasty food,”. The pizzas were amazing. The staff was really friendly and it’s quite well priced. Will definitely be back to t let some more dishes
Wonderful, authentic, Italian food! Best food outside of Italy. We would definitely recommend going here. Family of four with two young girls. Everyone catered for
Food was nice, slightly overpriced and the service was average. We had to wait a while to be served and no one came to check on us.
Welcoming staff, good sized portions, well presented and tasty food, fair prices. Would definitely recommend.
Delicious food, calamari was great, pizza was OK and pasta lovely. Fantastic service. It was very quiet for a tues early eve pre theatre dinner so the vibe was a bit lack lustre, the background British pop music a bit weird (pretty awful actually) and family arguing in the corner a massive downer Pretty pricey too but good location and quick eat before heading off somewhere else a bit more festive and fun.
Nice restaurant with attentive staff. Food was generally very good, excellent pizza and calzone. Only disappointment for me was the goats cheese and orange salad which had plent of very fresh salad leaves but only a small amount of grated goats cheese running through it and no dressing.
Ok but nothing special. The place is very dark and it looks a little bit run down. Pizzas are probably the best thing they do.
