We were welcomed into the restaurant by friendly and helpful staff and the service throughout the whole dining experience was great, as was the food - both in taste and in portion size. My lamb garlic chilli was delicious as was my wife’s butter chicken, and the naan was tasty too. This was our second visit and definitely won’t be our last.

I wrote a lovely review and the app deleted it! So I’ll simply leave this… My favourite meal out is an Indian curry, and this restaurant served me the best one i’ve ever had!

My friend & I always like to find an Indian restaurant when we travel, we are really glad that we went to Passage to India! The staff were friendly & welcoming and the food was delicious. I had the garlic & chilli lamb and my friend had a chicken bhuna, both were good sized portions with a good balance of sauce & meat. We will definitely go back next time we are in Edinburgh.

I will really recommend this restaurant for Indian food lover, ultimate taste , Its really difficult to find this type of place. Also service was top notch, lady who attended us was so polite and I wish they have branch in London.

Not worth it. The biryani was actually pulav. I reached the hotel early and was alone and the guy reacted like oh so it’s you I felt like he was being sarcastic. The food is not great. The place has a weird smell.

very comfortable, quiet surroundings with a different, varied and interesting menu. Food was delicious and service impeccable with encouragement to take your time if you wanted. Adequate wine list and broad range of other drinks definitely not limited to Indian varieties.

Gave this restaurant a try.Staff not very friendly, had to wait 40 mins for dinner, no complimentary starter,ordered the North Indian garlic chilli, all I could taste was the chilli no flavor of garlic had this dish several times not good, my wife got the the tikka masala very bland portion size poorly for the price, won't be back would recommend the shazan two doors down best curry I've tasted
