The food was very nice and the staff were very attentive.
Lovely staff & amazing food! Very welcoming environment, will be back
Great food, great staff and I really enjoyed the experience here. The decor isn't amazing but the staff and the food/experience made up or that. Great little meal out.
Visit Edinburgh every year and this is our set Saturday night venue! Lovely food, plenty of it and well priced, and friendly staff make you feel really welcome. Look forward to being back next year!
Great meal, freshly prepared good food complimented by friendly efficient service. Ample COVID protection measures in place.
Food was perfection Good vegetarian variety I would definitely recommend
place was great foodwas great was so was the staff
Great food and a good price with the pre-theatre menu. Would return if I’m in Edinburgh again
Food as great as always and service seems to have improved since last visit. Great deal for pre-theatre menu option!
Behind the humble exterior lies a restaurant that provides not only amazing food but fantastic service. I had the sizzler for my main course and it’s definitely one of the best meals I’ve ever had.
Lovely food, service, staff all very friendly and attentive. Great location.
second time here and will definitely be back again soon.
Decided on the pre theatre menu, good value for money
Really enjoyable meal. Great service. Would recommend to my friends.
The food was excellent The staff were great Highly recommend
food excellent and friendly staff, 5 stars from me, will come again
Painfully slow service!!! Wiuld nly recommend - thought the pre theatre would be quick but main course took 1.5 hours to arrive! Bill was also incorrect.
A bit like a transport cafe very basic but food was fantastic couldn't fault it
Service was very slow. Food was good. Price was good for city centre location
Fantastic food and service would definitely visit again when we are in Edinburgh
We came along after the rocky horror show service was brilliant, food was brilliant and the staff were amazing think this will require a visit next time we are at the playhouse Thanks again Brian
It was a nice little visit, the staff were very kind and speedy

Another lovely meal.Staff were attentive and courteous. Thanks to the chefs for the delicious food.We will be back.
Food was delicious and service good. Not many gluten free options. Suggested gluten free nan which would be easy to make.
The food was super! Everything was so fresh and the service was really attentive. Thank you
Great food and wonderful service! I would definitely visit again
Wouldn't be my first choice of Indian restaurant in Edinburgh but very convenient for theatre and meeting people and will use agsain
We had to query the bill. We were charged for popadoms and pickles and spiced onions when it was part of the pre-theatre menu. They did take it off the bill no problem.
Food was tasty but as it got cooler, it did start tasting very salty...too much I think.
Food is great, staff friendly. Only thing i'm not happy with is that the toilets are downstairs & there's not a disabled one at all & being disabled found having to use the stairs very difficult as there narrow & windy.
We were waiting on the bill for ages, despite there only being 4 other tables. They even started cleaning our table before we left before the bil arrived. We also weren't offered dessert after food.
Fantastic service. Excellent food!! Best we have tasted yet in Edinburgh ! Will definitely be back
The food was of excellent quality and very authentic to true Indian food not the usual tourist fare. Very amiable and friendly waiter.
Never judge a book by its cover! Had a table at 9pm and the place was near empty... on a friday... But what can i say.. food was amazing ( except the haggis samosas but not a game changer) Still.. its now become a favorite! Will be going
Lovely meal & great service - very pleasant staff. Good price for a Saturday night pre-theatre
The visit was great, the staff were very accommodating to my food allergies. Wait time was good until it got busy and then we found we were rushing for our show. We had to ask for dessert menu, we almost cancelled dessert order as it was taking too long and so we paid bill before dessert arriving so we could rush off, this was a real shame as the experience had been great until this point and our whole party enjoyed our food!
Good food but service very poor for a Saturday night waited well over an hour for meal to be served said they were busy hence the reason for delay.
Beautiful place lovely food and friendly staff would highly recommend u too people.its a beautiful restaurant inside too u feel very welcomed by staff.plenty choices of food n drink and not far from bus stop etc or playhouse or omni centre.keep up the good work guys will be back soon.
I was recommended Passage to India from a work colleague and the food lived up to all my expectations. My starter and main were amazing as was my husband's, definitely the best food I've tasted from an Indian restaurant and reasonable priced too.
Meal and service was brilliant will be booking a table for a meal again and I will pass it on to my friend and family.
Food delicious, good value for money. Decor not the best. Nice helpful friendly staff. We would eat there again if going to the theatre or in Edinburgh we are visiting from Glasgow.
Food was excellent only complaint I have is twice I asked for Diet Coke with my drink and twice I was brought coke. Not a biggie in the grand scheme of things but a wee niggle just the same.
Perfect venue for a playhouse visit. Would definitely eat there again. The staff were very helpful when I took a coughing fit and brought water without asking for it. It's touches like that that make the difference.
Food was really good. However, the service was terrible. Initial service there was no issues, for how quiet it was it took a little while for the starters to come out. It then came to our attention that tables who had come in after us were being served before us - another couple we were ok with but when a large table came in they were clearly made priority. Took us asking to be given our main courses. Will not be back, it just felt plain rude if nothing else.
