Booked for 6 after good reviews on trip advisor however experience was not as suggested. Service was poor and the food not of a great standard, we are a group that has a monthly curry night so able to compare. Decor and ambiance a la 1970 canteen, not cheap either, sorry not for us.
Arrived about half hour early, was no problem to give us our table early. Food was lovely and very reasonably priced, we will definitely return when we need a meal before a show at the playhouse.
Food was good, but DESPITE "we accept AMEX, MasterCard, Visa, Diners Club" signs on door, they did not accept any card and I had to walk a block to get ATM cash. I just flew in and only had euros and dollars. VERY IRRITATING.
Restaurant was very clean and staff most helpful. We had a great choice of Indian dishes also plenty of vegetarian dishes. Food was very tasty. Would certainty recommend this restaurant.
Great food with great service at a reasonable price. Only amusing point was a phone call from the restaurant asking why I hadn't turned up as I had booked a table, whilst I was sat at the table. Funny really.
Really yummy food, good service! We will return for sure. They were very accommodating to our 2 year old who just loved the staff. Recommend the chicken saag and squid to start
This was our first visit to this restaurant. We found the table service to be very good and the food quality was exceptional. We shall certainly return at some time in the future.
Lovely food, lovely restaurant and excellent staff at a very reasonable cost. I rate this as one of the best Indian restaurants in Edinburgh and I've been to quite a few.
The food was truely excellent, in particular the fresh naans. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Overall it was a great experience, would definitely go back.
Lovely food. Don't be fooled just because it looks quiet. Competition in the area is high which was good for us as there were no big, noisy groups. worth a visit.
