Excellent food and great service. You get what you pay for. The Masala crab cakes were amazing. The ambience was pleasing. However, it did get extremely busy after 2000. If you want to treat your other half to great meal out, this would be an ideal place.

Very nice quality food, as expected. Good location and setting. Shame about the service from poor drinks (3 attempts to provide a second drink the same as the first cocktail I had which was lovely- for some reason each one was a different colour) to staff gathering laughing and joking about the weekend and brushing past you while serving!! Twice the waiter came to the table chatted, but didn't clear the plates of finished food. Seems dis-organised on the floor which is odd as there are so many staff. Expensive for what you experience overall which is a shame. It will be our one and only visit I'm afraid.

Great service fantastic food Felt very comfortable throughout the visit and enjoyed the ambiounce and the decor of he restaurant. Drinks were brilliant such a varied selection of cocktails to choose from.

We were pleased when they asked if anyone was vegetarian or had allergies. We had a coeliac and they had a clear understanding of this allergy. It was busy but there was no delay and the food was spectacular.

Great service, nice decor but frankly I go to a restaurant for the food and this was absolutely nothing special. A bog standard curry at £120 for 2 is ridiculous. How this won best Indian restaurant in the Midlands I have no idea.

Starter was good, cocktails were good, main meals were awful, had much better at local take away, very substandard lazy cooking. Customer service was good though.

The food is excellent in choice, quality and quantity, something for everyone. The setting is very comfortable, with Staff who could not have been more helpful.

We booked for 12 people at 6.00pm on a Sunday. The restaurant decor was lovely and the service very good. Food was a little hit and miss I'm afraid. Some of us found it excellent and others not so good. Well, I guess you can't please everyone. I am very particular and rated it excellent, something I rarely do. Overall, a little more expensive than the usual but I think well deserved.

Excellent food, first class friendly service, great wine list with very sensibly priced wines. We returned after the concert to enjoy the cocktail bar and tried the 245 Broadstreet champagne cocktail. They were so good we had a second! The restaurant was very busy all evening and had a really good vibe. We will return the next time we visit Birmingham.

This was our first time in Bham so googled to find a restaurant, a shot in the dark. We hit the jackpot with Pushkar. When we arrived Sadiq greeted us, took us to our table and then explained the menu with recommendations to suit our individual palate. We were not disappointed, the dishes were excellent. Each course was delicious with flavour and subtlety. It is a pity we live 50 miles away or else we would definitely be a regular customer. It was my birthday so thank you for making my day . We were visiting Birmingham for just one night and chose Pushkar for our evening out in the city. We were not disappointed. The food and service were both top class. We loved it and will definitely return.

We go to Pushkar regularly and the food is the best I've ever tasted, so when you combine that with quality of decor and friendly service , it really makes any night at Pushkar a special evening!! Dave Cox

Unfortunately this visit wasn't up to Pushkars normal standard. The food was as fab as ever but unfortunately the service let it down, it certainly didn't deserve the £30+ service charge that was added to the bill as a party of 6. Our starters arrived super quick in fact whilst the waiter was taking our main course order & retrieving the menu's, very unorganised & meant we were giving our orders whilst the starters were in front of us going cold. We then waited over an hour for our main courses to arrive. The waiter did at one point apologise & told us they would be another 5mins, 40 mins later they arrived with one of the breads we'd ordered missing. We decided as it was getting late & had to work the next day to skip desert & go straight to coffee. I brought to the waiters attention mine had cinnamon on top when it was advertised as chocolate to which I was told they sometimes change things for artistic flair??! NO ..... I did not order artistic flair, nor Cinnamon! I can't stand it & was given a marshmallow to get rid of the taste ..... not really good enough it should have been replaced or taken off the bill! Such a shame as normally I can't fault it, maybe Saturday nights are best avoided!

The food was amazing. I had the lamb saagwala and my friends had the tikka masala and the chicken korma. They were all super yummy. The cocktails were delicious. The service was great.

Fabulous service, really helpful and made you feel like special guests, great food and brilliant cocktails. Only thing letting the restaurant down is the toilets, which look like public toilet block and about as clean!

The standard of the food is absolutely top quality. It's delicious and fresh. The staff are wonderful and give great quality service and very knowledgeable on the menu. We had several cocktails all of which were expertly made. Usually after the main course dessert can be a bit of a disappointment. At Pushkars the desert is every bit as good as everything else. You get what you pay for and what we got was possibly the best food I have eaten in any Birmingham restaurant. I couldn't recommend it enough!
