Fantastic cocktails. great atmosphere. The service was good, however we were a table of 7 and the waiter did forget to take a meal order from one of our party members - hence the rating is not a 6.

A very elegant take on Indian cuisine. It was absolutely delicious from start to finish. Perfect choice for our valentines dinner out. Would definitely come back again when in the area.

Food Good was very nice, however service was a big let down. We arrived at pushkar last night on Saturday for my partners birthday. We waited 15 minutes to order drink once we were sat. Another 15 minutes for them to arrive. To order food took another 15 minutes. A small meal of 2 mains and rice and 2 drinks took around 1 hour 45 minutes. For someone who regularly eats out every weekend and goes to nice restaurants. To the acknowledgement of the server he kept apologising but did nothing about it I would reccomend the food of this restaurant, but wouldn't advise going at a busy time at all.

Slow service and not that busy. More attention to regular goers and large groups due to the service charge they add on at end. Will not go again.

Excellent customer service with very attentive and friendly staff. The food was good but the layout of the restaurant felt overcrowded so there was little intimacy at the table which did impact on my experience. Much prefer Praza, their other restaurant, but we couldn't get a reservation on that evening.

It was very nice and the food was beautiful full of flavour would definitely recommend it.... and the ambence was really good.... price was good because the food was quality

Excellent evening. Fabulous food, great service and a lovely restaurant. Just the two of us celebrating my husbands birthday together. We were wonderfully looked after by our waiter and the little happy birthday brownie at the end was a lovely surprise - thank you. The mixed vegetable starter to share was wonderful and we really enjoyed the two fish curries we ordered. Great experience overall.

Good food and friendly service. Its always busy but the bar is excellent while you wait for your table. Would definitely go back again soon

Lovely Meal, Lovely staff, very packed and loud during busy time spoilt the ambience. Food tastes amazing, would recommend the chicken tikka masala. my 4th time here still love it.

Great food and the staff were lovely. We were a bit cold though, when we pointed this out the waiter immediately tried to cover up a broken air vent to make us more comfortable.

As always excellent food, service and ambience . Simply the best in Birmingham. With unusual dishes you will not see any where else , Pushkar remains a cut above the rest and is highly reccomended

Great meal. Including drinks and three courses it worked out at approx. £50p/h but was worth it. Service was very attentive. Foods were beautifully flavoured

Absolutely fabulous meal at Pushkar, service excellent, staff are friendly and informative. This is our third visit this year to the restuarant and are never disappointed. It is clearly the best restuarant and we specifically visit Birmingham to enjoy this restuarants experience. Well done Pushkar!

Amazing food. Only the thing I didn't like was English people were welcomed very nicely and being an Indian we were not welcomed as compared. Else everything is very nice and awesome. I really loved the food.

Excellent food, gorgeous cocktails, exceptional service! Brilliant central location in the heart of the city close to the canals area on Broad Street. Food cooked to perfection and really helpful adapting to our plant-based diet if the original dish included yoghurt or cream. Nothing was too much trouble. Definitely visit again soon.

The food and service was excellent. The bar area was a little disappointing as you were literally drinking near tables where people where dining and I would not have liked it if my table was in that area

Brilliant birthday meal for fiance, he was made to feel very special, petals placed on the table a birthday brownie was brought out with a candle with happy birthday written on it, and he was given a lovely card. The food was amazing, and the service was very attentive but not intrusive. Highly recommend a visit. Will return again soon.

The food was lovely. Tasty with great presentation. The atmosphere let it down massively however. We went for our anniversary a few days ago. (The restaurant were aware of this when I made the booking). They seated us between two large group tables, which were rowdy and loud. I asked to move tables, only to be told we could not move, even though there were several tables free in quieter areas. I insisted that we be moved, to then be placed near the bar area...which again was ridiculously loud. I was quite disappointed, considering the restaurant tries to portray an upmarket feel (clearly evident in thier pricing), yet there appears to be no consideration for the ambience or atmosphere. We were trying to have a nice meal, where youve got leary, drunk people stood right near you shouting and swearing. And the staff do nothing about this. Hardly upmarket.

Excellent! I've been to some very good, probably the best being eastzeast in Manchester, plus plenty of very indifferent ones really not as good, at least to my tastes as an M & S curry! Pushkar is however the best I've been to, I can see why we had to wait until 10.00am to get a table. From the nice bright and comfortable decor through to the excellent service, the food beginning with the humble poppadom, thorough starters to my prawn based main was melt in the mouth delicious and hotter than expected but in a good way. Also an excellent wine list, myself and a friend shared an excellent Rose. Not cheap but sometimes in life one has to pay for something rather better. Definitely looking forward to my next visit!

We had a fabulous Night at Pushkar. The Food was very good and there was a very good choice. We Will definitely be going again!

I would advise against booking a table at 2300 as we were told on arrival that the kitchen closed at 2300 so "if" we wanted to eat we had to order immediately. We hadn't even ordered a drink at that point. Service was rapid to say the least, and food quality was acceptable.

We had a lovely time from beginning to end the service was excellent and the food was gorgeous would definitely recommend to friends and come again.

We love pushkar, cocktails are amazing my favourite is the Espresso martini. Ray is always buzzing about and comes to have a chat. Food is delicious and I love the scented pages in the menus. The atmosphere is first class.

Lovely contemporary restaurant, attentive staff, beautiful food. I recommend the salmon and scallops to start. And cocktails to boot, what could be better?Looking forward to returning.

Superb Indian cuisine! It was expensive but I don't regret it. Excellent recommendations on dishes from waiter. Would highly recommend this restaurant of you are looking for a top class Indian food experience.
